The ADON handed me a paper application and asked that I return it upon my return to meet with HR. After multiple calls and no return calls back, and multiple other job opportunities passed up, i finally reached HR. She stated she had to double check and would be back in touch. And again, days later, no phone call. I find this type of behavior unprofessional. If you want good workers who will Show up and take care of residents ( like they are their own family) this is definitely not the type of professionalism a good worker is looking for. The type of care and consideration you as an employer expect, good employees with good work ethics and integrity expect as well. Also please don't state your rate of pay as over $16.00 hr. You only make over $16 if you pick up or have a shift differential. Starting pay rate is $16.

As an agency caregiver, I felt disrespected when my services were abruptly canceled without notice. While some aspects were initially satisfactory, I was ultimately treated unprofessionally. Unless management commits to increasing staffing and preventing staff disrespect, I would advise agency caregivers to reconsider working here.

I'm a current patient here and if I had a say I check myself out and crawl home somehow. I've never…read morebeen mistreated and made to feel so less than anytime in my life. I had seizure 11 days ago and lost use of left side of my body. At first I spent 6 days at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, but needed to be transferred to a rehab facility to learn continue my recovery. Don't get me wrong half the staff is awesome but the other half(mostly made up of techs their words) are horrible. I don't feel safe and I'm not the only one. Been here 5 days now and it has only gotten worse the more I witness.
