Been here a long time and again I'm amazed at how quickly they take care of things. Today they did repairs and painted what. Needs to be painted and I'm so pleased with the results. The maintenance staff here is so pleasant and professional. The office staff is friendly and polite and professional. !!!!!!!!!! RENTERS BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!! ‼ STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !! Today, I had a horrifying experience when dealing with Promenade Apartment Office Workers Madison/Madeline (?) and Laura. I was unable to make contact with my elderly friend who is BLIND, and a resident there. So I requested their assistance for a well-being check (to just ring his intercom buzzer because I did not have the right code.) The ladies stated they knew exactly who I was referring to, yet BOTH LADIES REFUSED TO WALK ACROSS THE PARKING LOT TO DO A WELL-BEING CHECK ON MY ELDERLY, BLIND FRIEND !!! I had to call the Bolingbrook Police Department for assistance !!! (Thankfully, the Bolingbrook Police Officer was most helpful and handled the situation properly.) But...WHAT KIND OF SERVICE CAN YOU EXPECT TO RECEIVE FROM AN APARTMENT OFFICE MANAGEMENT THAT TURNS AWAY/REFUSES TO HELP WITH BASIC REQUESTS REGARDING A VULNERABLE ELDERLY, BLIND PERSON ?????!!!!!! If I could give no stars I would first and foremost the ladies in the office Madison and Lisa are both super unprofessional they talk to us any kind of way they don't care about the tenants at all this place is a real joke I hate even spent my money at this place I asked to have a light bulb replaced in my kitchen the maintenance men came and replaced the whole light fixture which left a small hole in the wall not a big deal but they turned off the electricity to the sockets and never plugged in back up so my refrigerator was unplugged for 2.5 days and my food went bad I asked if they could replace my groceries $200 worth Madison comes back telling me she had to talk to upper management ok fine then comes back to eat we will only credit u $100 for your groceries and the other $100 is non negotiable which is crazy to me because it wasn't my fault the workers turned the power off to the refrigerator please don't waste yall time applying to this place on top of the fact the windows in your units are shitty so it's hot in the whole apartment except your bedrooms the water bill is spilt between the whole building so even if your never home your bill is whatever u and your neighbors used for that month and split between everyone I think it's unfair u see roaches from time to time I thought roaches were extinct it's 2023 who still has roaches the garbage cans outside small because the complex is cheap so they downsize the garbage container so when u go outside it's trash all over the place the complex towing is over thirsty Madison and Lisa are very disrespectful I asked for paint to paint my unit Madison goes on to tell me in a snotty way "u have to bring your own bucket with a lid to get paint from the office I'm just over this place they hound u first rent and water bill money but when it's time to replace something or correct there mistake they basically say F you just pay your rent on time the last manager was not this ignorant it's water damage in units they just paint over this water Damage instead of getting to the root of the problem please don't waste your time and for the price you can find better. read more

Horrible apartments, they have a cockroach infestation. The hallways are always dirty & there's always someone smoking weed in the hallways which makes the whole hallway stink, they always make the loud ass fire alarm go off in the middle of the night & I have also asthma so I could sue them for having people smoking indoors & 'not forcing their rules. Okay...there's a lot where do I start..... So the first night I moved in, I saw a cockroach on the floor moving. I didn't know what it was, because I had never had bugs my entire tome growing up. My mom was the one to assure me that it was indeed, a cockroach. We spoke with "management" about it and they lied and said, they had no idea. Even though, more than half the reviews on this app state how there's a roach infestation...there's literally no way they haven't noticed that. but anyway, I took care of the problem on my own after they sent someone oht to "take care of the problem". All he did was spray and not come back to check if there was anymore problems. I used roach borax powder. It's on amazon if anyone wants to check it out. Another issue I had was with my air conditioning. I remember having my air conditioning on and nothing was coming out. I remember constantly sweating at night and having to open my balcony door just for some air. They got someone to "fix" it and it still was not fixed. No air was coming out. I eventually turned off my air completely and got room heaters and coolers. As that worked better than my air conditioning, and didn't raise my bill. I had to pay almost $300 one month for my electricity bill due to the air conditioning that DID NOT work. Another issue I had was with the bathroom sink. I pulled the back lever to stop up my sink, and the entire lever came out. It was so frustrating. I was afraid I'd get charged for it. But, luckily I did not. One day I was coming home from work and it was late. I am a very petite female that lived alone at the time. It was 10 pm. I was walking to the door to get into the apartment and two men came out of the darkness and hid behind the door as if I could not see them. I didn't know what was going to happen, if I was going to be abducted or not. I went back to my car and locked the doors and called my Dad, who then told me that he would come and walk me to my apartment. As I was calling my Dad, one of the guys that were hiding came to my car and told me that I didn't have to worry and nothing was wrong. I still stayed put in my car until the guy left and I saw other people walking into the building. I later on found out that even if anything happened to me that night, I would not be found or I could've been dead in a ditch and no one would know a thing unless they were there because there are NO CAMERAS inside the building and OUTSIDE in the parking lot. I found out through someone keying my car. I called management and they told me that there was nothing they could do and I would have to file a police report because there were no cameras inside the parking lot. I was so pissed off. This is very dangerous as anything could happen to anyone in these parking lots and no one would have a clue unless they were there. Please be careful. As for Laura, one of the members of management a LIAR and MANIPULATOR. She tried to get my mom to pay more money while we were signing the lease and luckily my Mom caught it and said something or else we would've paid more than we needed to. Please do not give your hard earned money to these thieves. Horrible apartments, very dirty, very unprofessional, and very expensive for the dirt you are given. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My wife and I had a wild ride of awful experiences. First thing I would like to point out is the apartment was advertised as newly remodeled, but it was only cosmetic and it wasn't finished. The dishwasher wasn't anchored to anything, my wife was constantly cut her arm on the metal brackets that should have been anchored down. There was still grout haze in the shower and spots where the grout was missing. Once the apartment settled, the door would stick in the door jams and the kitchen cabinets wouldn't even close and overlapped each other. My AC was broken and I called many time for them to fix the problem. We ended up sleeping with ear plugs for two months before they finally fixed it. Management doesn't care and left broken glass in the parking lot for months. I also called and complained about the aggressive geese on the property as I have two young children and they would constantly hiss and charge and was told to jingle my keys instead of doing anything. On top of the unmaintained property and the indifference of management, the process of breaking the lease was horrendous. Due to life circumstances we had no control over, we had to end our lease early. The contract mentions a set fee for breaking your lease. We tried to meet with management to speak about our situation and were met with several canceled appointments and one time, they left before we were suppose to meet. Once we finally met with them, we were surprised when we were handed a document that if we were to sign, would require us to pay several thousand dollars on top of the set fee to end our lease. We tried to negotiate or work another arrangement out, but were met "sign it or you don't get out of your lease". We didn't have time to legally fight it, but it was shady to change what we had originally signed at the last minute. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. The headache is not worth the price of the apartment. read more

We like living here, for the most part, although, I am upset at the towing service they hire for this complex, those jerks are just lurking around waiting for you to park and check to see if, your parking tag is on. Well, I did get my truck towed on Sunday because we had forgotten to put it back on. I just wish the complex would give us stickers that adhere to our windshield as other apartments do. It's a hassle when trying to use a visor in order to keep your vehicle cool during these hot days. The tag won't stay in place and if god forbid your tag falls and you forget to pick it up after your drive home because you're in a rush to get in and start cooking for the family. Another thing that we don't like the doors they have thru out the hallways they should just get rid of them., people close them and, it hard to get rid of the smell of so many different varieties of international foods being cooked daily. It's not a good combination of smell. Were debating on if we should move once our contract is up if things don't change around here. It' too bad because we like the access to so much around here. read more

This place was a nasty and crowded place. It was never parking close and I continuously had bugs and nothing was never done about it. They would "come spray" but that didn't work. I even had to kill the bugs and bring to the office to show them and still had bugs the ENTIRE time i stayed. The kitchen and bathroom was so run down. They even had the porch built but you couldn't even get to it because they only had windows and not a door. The washers and dryers were never working or only one of each. The building apartment was sooooo run down, the elevator and everything. The pictures shown online does not do justice of how it really is in person or at night. Not worth it. The staff is rude and very wish washy with the information they share. One minute they say something the next it's a completely different thing. I was shown a model apartment in the most disgusting building ever. It literally smelled like mold. The agent who was showing it to me was even covering her face as we walked through the building. Anyway once we got into the apartment, the smell faded and the apartment was actually decent. I told her I was interested but not in the particular building. We agreed I would come back when another building had an apartment available. No one ever followed up with me, so I went in today and again, was given information that didn't make sense. I work as an independent contractor and asked how they verify income and was told they don't accept that.?! Um hello, a lot of people are independent contractors today. Anyway, the apartment she showed me ended up not even being available. I asked if I could speak with a manager and I was told no and that they agent could answer whatever it was. This place has multiple answers for everything and really don't seem interested in trying to accommodate anyone. Now I understand why this place was so cheap! read more

I currently live here and I'm planning to move out as soon as possible. Positives, it is in a great location. Now negatives. This place is disgusting in all aspects of the word. Horrible management. Maintenance spends more time joking around than actually providing proper results to all the problems residence need them to take care off. My kitchen roof has now leaked three times since I moved here. Each time they promised it won't happen again. After the carpet gets dirty from all the flooding the management wants me to pay to replace the carpet, seriously. Not to mention the halls are infested with rat, cockroach and termites. First of all we engaged with the leasing staff for weeks as this complex was at the top of our list of prospects in our move. All of a sudden after weeks we were told that they were only accepting pets for tenants in one particular building which housed their non-renovated units. This was fine and understandable, however once they asked us about our pet - which is an 8 year old, 17 pound French Bulldog (look it up on Google if you're not familiar so you can understand how absurd the following is) - we were told that it was a restricted breed. I assume this is because of the hundreds of stories annually of ferocious French Bulldog attacks (can you sense my sarcasm?) At any rate, these apartments are undoubtedly nice but the staff's lack of intelligence has me concerned for anyone that would have to work with them on a regular basis. We had no choice in passing, but I suggest you do due diligence before committing to this place. read more
