I was then quoted $765 to repair the shower. The technician himself told me the company is expensive but said they provide a warranty. I understand paying for quality work and a warranty, but $765 for this repair felt completely unreasonable to me. What made the experience worse is that another licensed plumbing company reviewed the same problem and quoted me $285, including the shower cartridge, removing the broken/stuck part, and fixing the handle. That is a difference of $480 for essentially the same repair. I also received an estimate totaling $688 for other plumbing work, including a shower/faucet cartridge and a toilet fill valve/supply line. After already paying $125 just for the service visit and having nothing repaired, I felt the overall pricing was excessive and unfair. I understand that companies can set their own prices, but customers should know what they may be getting into. In my experience, I paid $125, nothing was fixed, and I was left with a very high repair quote. I recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to the work.

I hired Econo West to replace some parts in my heating unit while we were in the middle of a…read morekitchen renovation. Unfortunately, after the repair, one of the parts they worked on caused a significant water leak that resulted in substantial water damage to my home. To their credit, Econo West came back out and corrected the issue with the heater. The bigger problem came a few weeks later when mold began appearing in the walls affected by the water damage. I spoke directly with the owner and went back and forth with him about the situation. Rather than taking responsibility for the mold damage, I was told that I couldn't prove their leak caused it and that the mold could have already been there before the water damage occurred. The owner also wanted to speak with my contractor because he was concerned that we were trying to get an excessive amount of money out of the situation. Ultimately, I had the damaged areas repaired as part of my renovation and decided not to pursue the matter any further. Had I not been doing renovations, I might have pursued it more, but at that point, the time and stress involved simply weren't worth it to me. I'm leaving this review because I think potential customers should know about my experience. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated that Econo West returned to fix the heater issue. What disappointed me was how the resulting damage was handled afterward. When a repair causes a major water leak, I believe a company should stand behind not only the repair itself, but also reasonably address the damage that resulted from it, especially when it has the potential to cause damage to someone's health. Unfortunately, based on how my situation was handled, I would not use Econo West again. Edit: In response to the comment below, the drywall was not replaced behind the cabinets like you said. In fact, it was my contractor that completed that job. The fix you guys made stopped above the cabinet and the mold was found behind the cabinet, directly below the work completed by your team. My decision to choose him over the other 7 contractors was not just his lower bid but that he was the only one I did not feel there was a catch. Jesse doesn't come off as a salesman, in fact he's most likely going to be your technician and will provide recommendations to your specific needs and wants. Not one time did he try to convince my to try a product I had no interest in and not once did he try to offer me extras that were not necessary. Not only that, the rates he offered, I never felt like I needed to negotiate with him or felt like he was selling me some snake oil discount deal. He also didnt give timelines in accepting a contract. He didnt take any money upfront either, some of the other contractors wanted deposits and partial pay during install which is to be expected. But Jesse upfronted all of the expenses until the install was finished. I also liked that he was one of the few contractors that didnt try to convince me to redo all my ductwork either. Working with him I felt very little pressure. Being a new company and small in size I had my worries but because my interaction with Jesse was positive and felt genuine. I gave him a chance and have no regrets. At least not yet, well see in 5 years. It also gave me peace of mind to know that Jesse is licensed, bonded, and has workers insurance. He saved me over $7000 on a complete two system install of goodman condensers (2), furnaces (2), and evap coils (2). The install occured on 5/25. It took Jesse two days with a 3 man crew day 1 and a 2 man crew on day 2. They started early 8:30ish and finished by 4pm. They worked hard and took very few breaks. His crew was professional and respectful. Jesse was also timely during our appointments. There was a time he couldn't make it out on a planned day but he let us know prior to the day. The install to me looks good to me and the system has been running great. I suppose my only complaint is the condensers not being on condenser base pads but they are sitting on the original concrete slabs that the old system was on so I don't think its a big deal. If you care about that I'm sure Jesse would have no problem installing it for you. Jesse is still helping me with my master bedroom, due to the home design (2 story, 3200sqft) and there was some cooling issues there but I have faith he will fix it for us after installing an additional vent/duct. I highly recommend considering Jesse's company for your HVAC needs. I would still recommend to anyone to GET MULTIPLE QUOTES. But I dont think you'll find rates as good as his. His rates aren't just competative, they are significantly lower. Maybe he'll increase rates one day as his company grows, but for now take advantage
