Sent two shipments and was charged 100 and 120 dollars in fees. Didn't receive a email notifications in a few days, had to go back and was given official dhl receipts instead. The charges on receipt by dhl was only 36.91 and 54.53 each. read more

They said 3 business days and finished in just two. Bonus: the envelopes came out perfect, packaged professionally for easy transport. These guys came through for me at crunchtime. It was 10 minutes until my interview at the AARP, and I still hadn't printed off my resume. (The library printers were defunct, and I had been scrambling around Dupont looking for the first printshop). The lady behind the counter sensed my urgency and started warming up the printers while I transferred my file to the house computer...she said there was a $5 minimum, but that she would make it worth my while and give me the top-notch printer paper. Then she calls out her husband (I assume they were married---they seemed to share equal responsibilites) and has him get busy ringing up my bill. I was in and out in 5 minutes, and I ended up making the interview. These guys have just moved to 1133 20th street...I think their quality of service merits my repeat business. read more

THEY CHARGE YOUR CARD WITHOUT APPROVAL. AND THEY PRINT MATTER WHICH WAS NEVER APPROVED. THEY RUINED OUR WEDDING CARDS. We asked to print the matter in embossed gold, Mr Jose selected one of the many samples we sent on the mail, but in the end they printed the card in black. With pixelated matter and without any gold. We could print better at home. They never did any dtp, everything we did. Worst printing experience. read more

Dont waste your time.. Theyre rookies and very unprofessional. I emailed them with specifics for a flyer I needed to printed and the guy simply emailed me back and said "its impossible". No explanation on why just those two words. How is it impossible if I've already gotten the flyers printed from another printer in Chicago and I just needed more? Note to everyone: I do not think the DC office is open anymore) I highly recommend Pronto Press, it is a locally owned business that cares about your finished product. They offer a higher quality at a lower price than the chain-printing places. I just used Pronto Press for a really important, time sensitive project. It was a book with a complicated format that needed to look professional and I needed it done in 2 days. Pronto Press offered the high level print quality for my single book for a VERY reasonable price. Other printers turned me away and said they would only go through the trouble for a mass production job, and the small-job printers only had basic printing /plastic GBC binding (doesn't look as nice and they were more expensive!). There was a minor hiccup with my book and the printer called me and he let me invade his studio while it was resolved. They even stayed over an hour past closing to make sure the book was perfect! They beat the other price by more than 30%, had email upload of my graphic, and sent it out UPS for me next day delivery. Super quick, super easy, and great price. DO NOT USE THIS PRONTO PRESS FOR DHL SHIPMENTS. In July 2018, I sent an international shipment costing over $2000 with Pronto. It failed inspection the following day at the DC facility and was scheduled for return to sender. I alerted Pronto Press and had an authorized person retrieve the shipment from DC. After a friendly initial call with the manager, this business has refused to give me my refund and even submitted erroneous/falsified documents to my credit card company claiming that the shipment was delivered abroad when, in fact, it never left DC. I have been going back and forth with DHL corporate office who have confirmed the shipment never left DC to force Pronto to cooperate and give me the refund I am due. Still hoping to get this sorted out without having to resort to litigation. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE. read more

Ignorant or just rude? Pronto Press is listed as a FedEX dropoff point. I walked into the business to find it empty except for a woman with short dark hair who was on the phone and searching her computer for information on a customer's late package. I was unsure if she was aware I had walked in so I began to browse their business card displays. After about 5 minutes she sees I am there waiting and doesn't acknowledge me as she is still on the phone. Another few minutes later she turns and walks my direction to go to the front desk, now it is obvious I am waiting for assistance, but yet again, she completely ignores me. I have no idea how you can run or work at a business with a complete lack of customer service skills or just basic human decency to pause for 1 sec and say I'll be right with you, or I am sorry this might take awhile, etc. I left and drove down to the next Fed Ex location and even though several people were in line, the employee greeted me as soon as I walked in and said she'd be right with me. I can't speak to their printing services, but basic customer service skills are sorely lacking. read more

Don't go to Kinko's -- support your local businesses and come here instead. The owner is kind, patient, and way more knowledgeable then any of the large brand printing stores. I used their service to print a limited run of perfect bound booklets and they came out great! Most other print shops would have charged an inordinate sum for such a small run, but Pronto Press was more than willing to accept the job. I trust them, and will continue to come here for my printing needs. read more

I would not advise using this establishment for FedEx services. I visited this business on 8/7 at about 12pm noon to send a simple FexEx Ground package (weighing less than .10 LBS) to DC. The women quoted me a price of $22.50 to send a small letter to DC via FedEx Ground. I found this odd since I sent a similar package just last week for about half the price from the FedEx office in Germantown. So I asked the women, is this the FedEx Ground price and she said yes. Oddly she had a FedEx Express envelope on her hands. So I choose not to continue my transaction letting her know that price seemed high, went back to the FedEx in Germantown and sent a FedEx Ground package (from further away mind you) for $10.44 plus envelope. And I was quoted an express rate of $9. So it is clear the women at Another Printing was just charging me the most expensive rate possible. Unethical business practice and I would imagine if a simple FedEx package is being up-charged, what else are they overcharging their customers on?!? read more

Great service, friendly staff, beautiful end product.

I brought a home family DVD here to be copied as a gift for my father. When I arrived to pick up the DVD copy, we tested it and the first few minutes worked, so I paid to ship it through Pronto to my father in New York. When my father tried to play it, the second entire file was damaged and would not play. When I called Pronto to see if they could fix it if I came back in with the original, they told me it was "not worth the money" to them to fix it and that they "had trouble with copying it" -- something they never relayed to me when I picked up the DVD and then paid to ship it to New York. I'm very disappointed in the customer service and wish I hadn't wasted my time bringing the DVD in here. read more

I traveled from Oregon to Bethesda for a conference at which I was presenting a poster. I was working on the poster until the night before I would fly in. I uploaded my poster file to Pronto Press Printing's website with instructions on what I wanted. They did a great job printing it that very morning. By the time I arrived at my hotel, which was right next door to their business, it was waiting for me behind the front desk.
