The space itself is beautiful and upscale without feeling stuffy, perfect for a night out or a more relaxed cocktail stop. I ordered an espresso martini, and the bartender mentioned he could make a salted caramel martini that wasn't even on the menu. It was decadent, perfectly balanced, and definitely strong--in the best way. It even came garnished with a Ghirardelli chocolate, which was such a thoughtful touch. The advantage here was the more convenient parking situation compared to Midtown. The Elkhorn location may not be as big as Midtown Crossing, but it feels more cozy. If you're with a big group, calling ahead could help you get seats. I had spiked hot chocolate, and it was delicious - definitely a sugar bomb, but absolutely worth it. Temporarily living in the Elkhorn area has given me the opportunity to check out some great West Omaha bars and restaurants. Proof is definitely on the 'visit again' list. First - the entire staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. The owner spent some time talking with my husband and I about his business and it was great to learn more about how he operates. This location opened at a really challenging time - late January 2020 so I am glad to see they are doing well. Now, on to drinks - they have a massive wall with shelves and shelves of liquor, mostly whiskeys, which is really up our alley. In addition, they offer a rotation of craft cocktails and I couldn't resist the pumpkin pie which consisted of vodka, cream, honey and pumpkin with nutmeg and cinnamon sprinkled on top. IT WAS DELICIOUS and as the bartender told me, its dangerous because you don't know you are drinking alcohol. Great place to catch up with friends! It's a good location on west maple road, and is easy to navigate to. The service is fast, and friendly, and the atmosphere is fun. They have all sorts of different kids of seating from bar to bench to deep chairs. If you have a larger group, you might want to call in advance for some seats to be set aside for you. We had 4 people and had to wait about 5/10 minutes for one group to leave. We didn't mind because it's such a fun and classy place to be.
