I received 4 baby plants as a party favor at a networking event I went to in San Pedro. I was a little scared about caring for them since I never had plants before. Luckily I was told that they are low maintenance and dog friendly since I have a little fur baby at home. A bonus was that they are a family small business in the area so I definitely wanted to check them out. I received one baby that was in a tube of water that has not yet sprouted roots. I had no idea what to do with and I was able to consult with the staff via instagram and got guidance on when it was time to pot and how to properly care for it. My favorite baby is the heart leaf hoya and I recently noticed that it has outgrown it's little pot. I decided to take it in person to have it re-plotted. The store is a cute little plant boutique and I was greet by one of the owners. She took care an replotted my hoya and answered all of my questions as a novice plant mom. She even showed me examples of what my plants are gonna grow into be once they get bigger. I never once felt belittle for my lack of experience with plants. I hope to come back to get more plants once I get the hang of my current babies. I'll be sure to be back in the future with my questions. read more

This place is seriously a hidden gem in San Pedro! We had passed by a few times, but it was always closed. We went to breakfast one morning and was surprised to find it open and boy oh boy were we in heaven! We immediately connected with Britney. She was so friendly and helpful explaining how to take care of the plants we had, plus schooling us on new ones we were interested in. We ended up purchasing two plants and she gave me express instructions on how to take care of them. Britney was excellent at explaining how some plants love the dark, while others crave the light. She even educated us on the color of leaves and how the lighter the leaves, the more it thrives in light and vice versa. Prop House also offers plant repotting. I plan to bring a few of our "kids" down to her to repot them and hopefully that will make them feel much happier, so they can grow. We definitely plan to go back for more plants. We did ask Britney to hold a few for us and got busy and forgot all about picking them up, but we will definitely be going back for more. She and her brother Sam run this cute little shop. In addition to plants, they also sell various pots, plants in vintage containers, and homemade soy candles. I'm glad to know they're in the area and we can easily grab some of these beautiful plants or bring our "kids" in to be assessed by the "doctor!" I've been a plant murderer all my life, so I'm really excited to try her tips with the plants we have and the new ones. So far...they're still alive! read more

Super adorable little plant shop. Popped into the shop in downtown San Pedro during their soft open and met the owner, Brittany, and her brother Jose, both had great advice for all of the plants I was curious about and how to keep them thriving. There's a cool "plantique" section with always changing antiques turned into planters which pays homage to the stores name, which I was told comes from the owners time in the film business. I really like the vintage soda and beer cans with cacti/succulents in them (always a great option for death proof plants for yourself or gifts). A cute little shop with great atmosphere and great customer service, overall good vibes. read more
