I was very excited to try Propogate after finding it on Door Dash. The other reviews sounded so promising & I loved the vibes in the photos. Parked my car & couldn't find the shop. No exterior sign at all. Found my way inside and it took a few moments to be acknowledged. That's ok, baristas were busy, I get it. I was slightly underwhelmed at the dark interior. It was no where near as clean or charming as I had expected. Once greeted, I asked if I could have my Americano in a mug instead of a to-go cup. [Insert confused face here]. Apparently this was a tough request. Once we cleared this up, payment was processed and I took a seat at a booth. Coffee order was brought out in a small plastic cup. Yes- plastic cups. Mmmm, hot liquid served in plastic is my fav. (I'm kidding of course) worse yet, the coffee was straight up awful. Truly, it was bad and I hate to even say this. I know a small biz needs all the love it can get and I REALLY wanted to love this place. I even had an extra shot of espresso added and this drink wasn't even as good as a gas station. I'm a huge espresso lover. I have a fancy machine at home but I love to support coffee shops when I'm out running errands. There are very rare times that I have negative comments. Sadly, this was one of those rare occasions. On the bright side- clean restrooms & fun art on the walls. And I was able to snap some cute shots with a retro filter. read more

Propagate Social House is such a cool little spot. I stopped by and tried the garlic and chive cream cheese and it was seriously so good full of flavor and not too heavy. The bagels were perfect and you can tell everything is made with care. The music adds to the vibe, and I love that they always have different things going on like pop ups, markets, and social events. It feels like a place you actually want to hang out at, not just grab food and leave. Heads up: come early because they run out of their specialty cream cheeses fast, especially the garlic and chive. Came here bc the plant theme caught my attention and Hall on 5th is across the street. Overall my fave section was the expansive outside patio with shade. I loved how it was decked out for Fall. Lots of Pumpkins and mums. It's a great spot especially at night time for some drinks and music. They even put some tables under trees for perfect shade. We walked inside and they have booths, tables and cushy chairs. They serve breakfast and sandwiches. I looked on the online menu which had a drink that was not on the physical menu. They still had the sauce to make it. I ordered a coco nana matcha which was matcha, coconut water which he used milk, and house made banana syrup. It was good but I opted for the small one. Stopped in here to have breakfast and coffee with my sister. I love all the plants the plant area that they have. It is a smaller establishment but there was plenty of seating when we popped in. Coffee was balanced and good. It looks like you can also buy KOS beans there too. We ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich and a Croque Monsieur. The sandwiches were what you would expect. I'm only sad I didn't come here before. Such a hidden gem! You order at the front, they take all your items to you. The staff is so friendly and helpful with any questions and accommodations for allergies/preferences. Their latte is amazing, coming from someone who is super picky about their coffee. We stumbled upon this charming little coffee shop while staying in town for just one night--and what a lucky find! This place has soul. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and the asiago bagel with garlic and rosemary spread. That bagel was a standout--freshly toasted with a golden crust, perfectly chewy inside, and slathered with a creamy, aromatic spread that hit all the right savory notes. I could've easily eaten another one on the spot! The only miss for us was the Café con Leche. Being Hispanic and from Miami, we're used to a stronger, creamier version. This one tasted a bit watered down and lacked the boldness we expected. Still, a place with this much personality deserves to be explored beyond just one drink. They've got a menu full of creative signature drinks that we'd love to try next time--we chalk the coffee miss up to personal taste. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and skip the chains. If charging that much, the quality, portions, and service should match -- lately, they just don't. Compared to when this first opened, the sandwiches seem smaller, the coffee is kind of bland for a "coffee shop," little mistakes repeatedly get made, and the overall experience feels like it's missing the mark. Looks great from the outside and online, but what you actually get disappoints. Which again I know mistakes happen, but come on. With prices going up everywhere, I feel it's fair to expect places to get the basics right. As a first time customer on a Saturday, I was confused on how to get a table. With no signs or servers around, I waited in the coffee line just to be told it's open seating. We sat down outside waiting for someone take our order. I eventually found out we had to order at the bar. At this point I'm laughing to myself ! The drinks took so long to come out, our food came out first. My Bloody Mary was EXTREMELY SALTY. (I'm a BM connoisseur) I couldn't get it down. The food is Meh... I ordered simplicity. A hot Earl Grey tea. I said I wanted to add honey and lemon to it MYSELF. I don't know what that was. Not very hot. And I drink Earl Grey regularly, simple guy. Never had any that tasted like that. And they put the honey in for me. I got a turkey and Swiss on French rol (turned out to be a toasted croissant). And that is all that was on the sandwich. Supposedly there was some sort of mustard. I did enjoy the pleasant outdoor seating where I wrote this review. Very pleasant and relaxing. If you live in the area handy spot to drop in I guess. I really like this coffee shop, but for the past few months every time I come here they have loud club-like music playing on the patio. It kind of kills the vibe for me. It's so loud you have to yell to talk to who you're with, and it just seems more like a bar than a coffee shop. I wouldn't mind it at night, but at 11am on a Sunday it's too much. I'd rate this somewhere between a 3-4 stars, but I'm rounding up. I love the patio and the bar, I just miss the relaxed coffee shop feel it used to have. read more

I've been here a few times and they've food was what motivated the return visits. I can appreciate a place that has non pork breakfast options. Today's visit, however caused some disappointment. I ordered the turkey sandwich on a croissant with cheese and arugula (Croque Monsieur). I asked what it came with and was told it usually comes with chips but we're out. I followed up with a couple questions regarding an alternative to prompt the cashier to consider the logic in them not offering a replacement and still charging full price but she didn't pick up what I was putting down. My friend also had a sandwich and both came out lonely on a plate with nothing else by their side. I don't know that there was an apology but honestly a guesture would have gone way further than an apology. The irony is I started to bring chips from home because I didn't knownifnthey carried them because chipa are that important to me when eating a sandwich. We popped in for a coffee and we decided to try their summer menu. I had the Elvis Latte that was flavored with banana and had actually peanut butter and a hint of cinnamon. I never had peanut butter in a latte before and I loved it. My partner had the Salty Apopkhan and it was like a salty caramel flavor. The setting had various tables indoors and outdoors. They also had a wide variety of plants that were all for sale. The outside seating deck area was large and they had a sign for a Friday night market which I will like to come back and check out. We moved to the area from down south two months ago and we've already been to Propagate Social House and their Shade House no less than 15 times. This is our safe place. Lox sandwich and coffee? Phenom. Service? The bar at Shade House is filled with the BEST ladies. Vibe? It's vibin. If you're looking for a good craft beer, their selection is always changing and focuses on local brews for about $6 a pop. Propagate itself is home-y, small and unassuming, filled with plants, and filled with the smell of coffee. If you're looking for something a little more upbeat, on the weekends they open up the Shade House on the deck and have live music and FANTASTIC cocktails. 10/10 I live here now. read more

A co worker recommended this place and I decided to try it out. After looking at reviews some good and bad I decided to take a shot at it. Orders- pork sausage, egg and no cheese on a asiago bagel and a bacon, egg and cheese on a new Yorker bagel which is asiago and everything seasoning mixed. Plus a merry and bright coffee- white hot mocha with peppermint. Total was $24.00 Positives- the little hole in the wall coffee shop is super cute, cozy and a good place I can see myself getting school work done. The area looks super clean too. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Reviews on food and beverage -my sausage bagel was only good because if the bagel itself, the pork was dry and the egg was as someone mentioned it...like a wawa egg patty. The garlic aioli adds way too much flavor along the seasoned bagels selections they have. The bacon bagel my spouse had said the same about the garlic aioli, although she did enjoy her sandwich it was a nice bread, egg and bacon ratio. Although we BOTH agree that our sandwiches were not worth $9 each. My coffee tasted like water and a squirt of white mocha. I tasted no peppermint. I really wanted to like the coffee here at least but its a no go for me. My spouse and I did notice that staff was eating over the coffee makers and sandwich prep area which I am pretty sure is a huge sanitary concern. I give mad respect for two staff members that did leave the counter to eat and drink their coffee. I hope this review helps!
