Scott pulled a page right out of the ultimate Karen playbook and called the cops on me for taking too long......in the car wash line......while there were cars in both sides of the car wash. Can't make this stuff up. There are buckets available to wash windows and wheels while waiting for a free bay, which is exactly what I was doing when he approached me. I ignored him at first. I did my best to keep ignoring him, as I thought I was being punked. When I told him to leave me alone, he told me I was rude and that I need to leave and told me he would refund my money, after I had already prepped my truck for the car wash. Then he said he was calling the cops. This all occurred in the 3-5 minutes I was waiting for an open car wash bay. I told him I'd be happy to wait for them to explain why their time was being wasted, which I did. I was literally there a whole 3 minutes before he came out flexing his power and said I was rude, took pictures of me, my vehicle and my license plates, told police I was on something and that I was irate. AT THE CAR WASH!Apparently he couldn't comprehend why I was upset that I was being told to hurry up and being called rude while there were literally cars in the car wash bays I was waiting for. Then when the cops showed up as he requested, (3 patrol cars responded quickly, great response time APD!) Ol Scott couldn't be bothered to come outside of his office and argue his case. The little nerd came out to the car wash to flex his power, and when he crossed the line into harassing me, he got a taste of his own medicine and tucked tail into his office. Scott's father in law, the actual owner, all but said this is a common occurrence. I was shocked If you stop here, make sure you thank Scott for saving the world, one car wash at a time! His ego will appreciate it. He clearly needs excitement in his life, and based on the comments, it seems like a few other locals had no problem giving it to him as requested.

They seem to be more focused on just chatting with some guy inside instead of getting service. I wish they'd bring back the old format so we could actually swap or refill easily. I'm not a business that gets deliveries, but I have several tanks that I need to fill on a regular basis and it has become cumbersome to get it done in a timely matter.

I am personally awful at carwashes unless I was the car myself (garden hose technique). So, on a recent afternoon, we took a tour through the small carwash at the Madonna Road Shell Station. I was waiting for him to pay, admiring the trees planted around the car wash, and how clean the station was, and watching people pump gas. I found myself actually looking forward to the car wash. Sure enough, after giving our code, we proceeded through a modest but effective wash. I liked that there were no rails to ride on, no attendant, and the car sat still in the wash instead of the hurkey jerky automated version. There was plenty of water, and soap, and spinners, and more water and wax, and more water, then a good blow dry on the way out! And all for a budget friendly $10.00!

Horrible experience! Recently purchased my home and had not had a chance to set up service with…read morepropane. That part is my fault! Came home on a Friday evening and found this sign on my door knob. The propane was disconnected and a lock was installed in the tank. My side yard gate was open and the tank enclosure gate was also left wide open. I spent 3 hours in the phone on an emergency basis to get someone to come out and got no where. Other than the lovely 3 customer service agents apologizing! They reached out to the local manager on duty for emergency services and he did not answer his phone. Mind you this situation violated California laws in 3 ways: 1. They have to give you a written notice 48 hours to 15 days in advance before disconnecting power. No notice at all! 2. My husband is disabled which is filed with the board of public utilities. This makes it illegal to shut off services. 3. This is our sole source of heat. It is winter time and getting down to freezing temperatures at night. We also have two small kids. There is a moratorium during winter that furthermore makes it illegal to shut off heating services in winter. End result: 1. I hooked up my bbq propane so I could get hot water to bath ourselves. 2. I had my entire family squeezed into one room with an electric space heater for the night. 3. I called a local propane company who is coming out tomorrow to switch out all my services!

Superior Plus / Central Coast Propane has been my supplier for the last ten years. We purchased our…read moreown 500 gal tank when we moved here so we would have the option to switch propane suppliers if we wanted to in the future. We chose (what is now) Superior Plus because they didn't dance around on pricing like the other propane suppliers we checked with. The other guys wouldn't give a straight answer past "it depends." I recently checked again on local pricing and Superior again had the best price, so I ordered our annual fill-up. Lo and behold, one day after the delivery I received an email from Superior offering a special summer discount on propane - at about half price! I called to protest about the timing and the nice lady at Superior agreed with me. She needed to check with her supervisor but everything was eventually approved - my shipment was re-priced at the summer discount price. Fantastic! I want to thank the nice folks at Central Coast / Superior Plus for great customer service over the years, and willingness to help out a long time customer. I highly recommend them.
