She handled my natural hair with care - blow dried and provided an amazing silk press and trimmed my ends! I also have to give a shout out to Brittany who kindly started me off with my scalp scrub, shampoo, conditioner and last but not least steam. I really felt like I was at a mini spa. I had an amazing experience at Mane Hair. The staff is extremely warm and friendly. It felt very down-to-earth, genuine and relaxed. I have been to other salons where the vibe is cold and uncomfortable. It was just $30 (this amount is not including tip) for a high quality hair cut. Excellent value! The stylist asked me about what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted. (Almost like she could read my mind) She was sure to ask about what length I wanted. She made an initial cut on a lock of hair just to make sure I was good with the length. I have never had so much thought and consideration provided for me when getting my hair done. The hair stylist was extremely empathetic. The staff is sure to hype you up with compliments. I felt amazing after leaving! It might seem cheesy to some but it really made me feel good. I'll definitely be a repeat customer! I overheard that the stylists at Mane Hair don't have to pay in order to work at the salon (which I guess is apparently a thing in the hair salon industry). I was happy to find out Doug took everything he learned and opened his own salon in Newnan GA. I make the drive over an hour to see Doug and will keep on driving to see him. He's a Buckhead / mid-town stylist with south of Atlanta pricing. Well worth the drive and I've gotten nothing but compliments on my hair since Doug has been handling my locks. Each time I come my hair looks fabulous whether I get it flatironned or roller set. My hair is long and thick and Matty takes time and does a great job. There is also a bilingual stylist that caters to the latin community. I have referred many of my friends to here and I will continue to tell others about this salon. Good stylists are hard to find and GREAT stylists are even harder to find. I consider Matty to be a GREAT stylist. I am willing to make the drive each time because it is definitely worth it.

I have difficult hair so most people don't know how to tame the monster that is my hair. In the past I have left hair salons crying or with really short hair because they thought my hair needed to be cut more than requested. This was not one of those times. I came in with crazy looking hair and came out with beautiful luscious hair and a smiling face.
