They do a solid job of balancing tenant rights and landlord interests. They made sure I was kept apprised of changes in law and new rules for renting as they were passed by the state, as is all to frequent with Colorado at the moment. Andrea, while she was with the company, and later Holly were phenomenal and efficient. Holly in particular helped the company recover from a rough patch a few years back, and even with that brief period where communication broke down under some turnover, Highest Point was quick to help with post move out damages and getting new tenants with little interruption. I mention this not as a criticism but to show their resilience. Aaron, the owner, offered solid advice and even floated a property or two my way. They do everything they can to push you to (what feels like) an AI chatbot in their app. Trying to find and connect by phone was a nightmare. And, when I did, the agent wanted me to take a million photos; flip a circuit breaker; and basically be the on-site maintenance person before she would call and send someone out. It was infuriating. On the plus side, the maintenance person was a great and was determined to get us up and running no matter what! I have stayed in dozens of short-term rentals. I own a short-term rental in Colorado. Whenever we had an issue with the house or with the tenants, fires or storms in CO, when there were law changes we were notified straight away!
