It was a mess, but they got it cleaned up beautifully and then they took down a pine tree that has been dying, we tried to restore it, but it was beyond saving. As always, they did an amazing job cleaned everything beautifully and I can't believe how quickly they dropped that tree cut it up and had it in the trailer. It changes the look of my front yard makes it look bigger and I don't have to worry about the fire hazard in my front yard. They even moved my bench for me, which was very heavy and next April. Requested bids and designs to remove all the grass in the backyard, install sitting walls around trees with flag stone steps and zero scape setting. The rabbits and voles wreaked havoc in our backyard. We've had to replace our lawn twice. Jeff with Rock Solid Landscaping responded. We agreed to meet and walk the yard. We wanted 3 mounds with larger rocks around with native plants. The crew started everyday at 7am and worked until 4pm. They were always on time and worked a full day. This job was completed in 2 weeks. They delivered a porta potty, bobcat in front of our home. They put cones for safety. They are very organized, when dirt, rocks were delivered they moved to backyard. Then they swept the street and/or driveway to keep clean. Our neighbors complemented on the nice job of keeping street clean. Juan Carlos and his 2 workers were very well organized. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. I asked for a few Day Lillie's be transplanted back into the area. They installed a new drip system with an extension for me to plant my small veggie garden. While complimenting him on the job. I mentioned that my paver driveway was sinking in spots (tire track areas). He said that he installed and repaired pavers and gave me a very competitive bid as compared with two others that I had already obtained. I gave Ed's Landscaping the driveway job. All the pavers were removed, cleaned and replaced. Polymetric sand was used between the pavers to help stabilize them and limit water penetration. Prior to the paver replacement, the sandy subsurface was removed and replaced with stone and thoroughly compacted to prevent a recurrence of the sinking pavers. My 16 year old driveway looks brand new today. I was so pleased with Ed's Landscaping's work that I signed up for weekly yard service in March.

We were blessed to have been able to build our home on a lot that backed into some nice cottonwoods on wide-open, sagebrush-laden Washoe land. Our idea was to first reduce / modify the subdivision - issue 6' cedar fence by half to maximize that view (thanks JP Fence) then start from scratch with a landscape design that complimented that view. That was basically the only instruction we gave to Travis - to make it all work together. We figured if he and crew had been doing it for 17 years, earning best in Carson honors time and again, we would be wise give him free reign to apply his craft. Turns out we were right. Travis came up with a great design and worked diligently and systematically w/ his crew with everyday, cleaning up after themselves every evening. He kept us advised throughout the process, delivering a few services and extras along the way that were not contracted for, but very much appreciated. The ultimate result was a handsome xeriscape, w/ stunning water feature that feeds beautifully into the natural span of cottonwoods and sagebrush beyond, incorporating some 18 different species of indigenous trees and plant-life to insure an ongoing show of blooms throughout the year.
