The most authentic Italian restaurant in town. All dishes we randomly ordered are delicious, and extremely friendly host. Price is also reasonable given the food quality. We already went there twice since its opening last month. Will go there again for sure! read more

Excellent food: good portions, really knowledgeable wine list; a recommended Italian Cabernet, 2016, paired well with. Unfortunately, our experience was not so good. Our female server was nice and friendly, but the food was mediocre. One of the chicken dishes was so rubbery or undercooked and had to be sent back. My husband and I both had upset stomachs the next day. We waited over an hour after we ordered before the food arrived. First time at Proseco, they sat us even though they were just about to close. They were so hospitable and the food was amazing! Yesterday, I came in with a large group. Our table was set when we arrived. The service was flawless and EVERY meal was outstanding. We order the penne all vodka, ghnocchi, margharita pizza, chicken piccata, a seafood linguine and all the salads. The tiramisu that they brought out as a birthday surprise to my boyfriend was honestly the best tiramisu that I have ever had. This place is a true gem!!! read more

First time with a friend. Decided to share food and order burrata and prosciutto, calamari, and chicken Caesar salads. None of the food was bad, just kind of average. The seating and ambiance was good with indoor and outdoor seating. The location was very good, great for walking along the water and people watching afterwards. They knocked it out of the park with service, all staff members were attentive. If the food could be a bit more special/unique, my ratings would definitely move up. We felt like we were in Italy at lunch today! They have a great pasta menu that was hard to choose from. I actually chose the Chicken with Gorgonzola special. It came with homemade pasta. It was delicious! Gorgonzola is a very strong flavor, but the subtlety that was used in the dish was divine. My spouse had lamb chops that were equally delicious! The bread came with a sun-dried tomato and olive oil dip that was incredible (and unexpected!) Our waiter was attentive and professional yet very friendly. Honestly, I sort of gave up on doing reviews a couple of years ago. I'm having a very difficult time finding amazing restaurants in the Seattle Metropolitan area. I live in Bellevue, and today I searched throughout Redmond and Kirkland, desperate to find an excellent and authentic Italian dining experience. My wife and I love traveling to Italy, and I'm a little bit embarrassed to say how many restaurants I walked in and out of today; hospitality seems to be a lost art. I finally settled on Prosecco restaurant in Kirkland. This is a new Italian spot located on the lower level of the water side of the Kirkland harbor. We were walk-ins, and a table was not immediately available. I am not a huge fan of waiting, but the staff worked hard to find us a spot. Within a minute or two, my wife and I were each handed a glass of wine, gratis, as we waited for our table. What a contrast compared to what I have become accustomed to experiencing in this region. The cuisine was also mesmerizing. Flavors, authentic and rich and bountiful. Two Italian brothers own this restaurant, I learned, and both were outwardly caring and welcoming. The staff are all hard-working and full of life and positive vibes. Genuine hospitality. If you want to experience the life enriching warmth of the slow food movement of Italian cuisine, this is the place to do it. Amazing food and service, went for lunch on a Friday and dinner Saturday. Highly recommend

We dined at this lovely and quaint Italian restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed the early Spring evening with the view of the lake. We started off with some cocktails while we waited for our oven wood fire pizza. It was quite delicious and the ingredients seemed really fresh as well. I love wood fire pizzas. Then we had some Spaghetti Carbonara; that was really good. We paired that some great wines. We also met the owners Nico and Migen who were very welcoming, warm and friendly. And Migen's wife Lola that helped out that evening. I love supporting Mom n Pop family restaurants because there's always so much love in their passion of foods. The Chef with their ironic apron also greeted us as well. I'm looking forward to going there again to try something more yummy dishes. It's worth the visit! read more

I recently went to Prosecco for a family member's birthday dinner and unfortunately the service was disappointing. Despite making a reservation for an outdoor table, outdoor seating was not available when we arrived. We sat down, and no water or menus were provided. Someone came by a few minutes later with water but no menus. A few minutes after that, our server came to greet us, and we then had to ask him for menus. Our server wasn't very attentive, often saying he would be right back but taking a long time to return to check on us or take orders. We noticed other tables around us were able to place their orders promptly but 30 minutes after sitting down, he still hadn't taken our food order, which meant that people who were seated after us got their food before we did. We did appreciate that the kids' meals were served right away and the food was very good, but the service unfortunately overshadowed that for us. read more
