We were able to get a table in the Lockbox section with Sara (GM) on a busy Saturday night - 5 stars! It was away from the main dining room and much quieter than the main dining room which was nice. Aida, our server was friendly and very attentive. We ordered the Bang Bang Chicken from HH menu. Good portion and tasty. Also ordered a burgle and the seafood stew. Both were delicious. The side salad for the burger - delicious - I liked especially liked the dried cherries. This experience was excellent. Thanks to Sara and Aida for making it better. read more

I've been to Vons 4x now, once in Woodinville and three times in Kirkland. The real shining stars on the menu are the salads! Chicken club earns an A+ from me; delicate baby gem lettuce, perfectly grilled and seasoned succulent chicken breast accompanied by avocado, egg and more. This last time I tried the Macho salad which also featured baby gem lettuce, grilled chicken breast and avocado accompanied by feta, corn, onion, dates and candied walnuts in a lightly sweet dressing. IMO the house made sourdough pasta and pizza are just ok and overpriced. Lovely ambiance, food arrival/timing spot on and fun to have the drink wheel spinning all day. Wishes: better service...waitstaff are just ok..seem very scripted and rushed. Had to wait 20 minutes to flag my waiter down for a glass of ice as my soda was served with less than half full of ice (no one likes a warm soda). Music: way too loud if you're sitting under a speaker, had to lean in to hear my table mate. I wanted to like this place, but i was very disappointed. Visited with a friend for lunch on a weekday and something was definitely off. Food smelled and tasted weird. Could have been just a one off day as my friend frequents this place and has noted how good this place is. Ordered the Spicy "Rigs" while my friend ordered the Tuscan Chicken. Spicy "rigs" wasnt spicy, noodles were soggy, sauce smelled. My friend's tuscan chicken, she said it was good, tender, and tasted great to her. We also ordered appetizers though and thankfully the Crispy Calamari was delicious. Very crispy, slightly chewy calamari, and great flavor. Other than that, the waitress was sweet though, explained their menu and how it works at Vons. When we arrived, the place was a bit empty inside with most people taking up the outdoor area. Von's 1000 Spirits just opened in Kirkland and it is easily one of the hottest spots right now for food and drinks. Every thirty minutes, they do a cocktail announcement with special discounts, which makes the whole place super fun. They specialize in sourdough pasta and pizza, and everything we tried was incredible. We got the Alaskan cod tacos, and the fish was so moist, soft, and packed with flavor. Pasta was absolutely incredible. It's so fresh, so tasty, and flavorful. The lighting and vibe in here is very nice as well. I got chosen to spin a massive wheel in the restaurant that lands on various cocktails and provides a discount to the whole restaurant, it was so fun. The service was great! He was very kind and accommodating especially when our dessert accidentally got ran to the wrong table. Brandon, who I believe was the manager in charge, made it right and accommodated my girlfriend and I for the mix up and was very kind about it. Recently opening on June 10, 2026, this location of Von's 1000Spirits in Kirland, WA is the 3rd instance of the popular Seattle area craft cocktail bar, specializing in sourdough pizzas and homemade pastas (others in Woodinville, and downtown Seattle). Our group of five had a great Saturday early dinner. They are known for their (made-from)-scratch Manhattan ($8.99), so my wife got that. It was definitely strong enough, and have to agree an absolute bargain for a craft cocktail in a place like this. I ended up finishing most of it since, since the 'Wagering Wheel' (a big visible prize wheel, spun every 30 minutes, indicating what cocktail is on sale) stopped at the Skinny Bitch (Savor Spear Vodka, cranberry, grapefruit, spun sugar, illuminated with a magic ice cube) being the drink special ($12 down from $17). She really enjoyed that drink. I really enjoyed my meal (choice from the small bites section) of Puget Sound Clams ($22) in a creamy vodka sauce. The clams were big and meaty, and the sauce was robust. It came with toasted ciabatta for dipping, but wasn't sure how much they would give me...so added a loaf of sour dough baguette ($8), which turned out to be delicious. It ended up being a filling and satisfying meal. Leah was our server, and she was attentive and friendly throughout. We tried to see if we could get some sour dough starter to take back, but was told nicely that this location doesn't do that. It was worth asking since the bread here is quite good. read more

Came for lunch this past week after watching construction! Loved the vibe - fun and swanky at the same time. I had fried chicken sandwich - very solid - good flavor and nice balance with the pickles! I hate the fact that fries aren't included though - $18 for a sandwich that doesn't include fries?? One other thing that was weird - person spinning the wheel for drink specials and then getting on the microphone calling out "$10 Cosmos!" And then "$8 tequila shots!" It was 11:45 AM ?! It was off - save it for happy hour. I'm looking forward to coming back for dinner. read more

We were looking for dinner around 9:30 p.m., and this place came up with glowing reviews. It absolutely lived up to the hype. Even that late at night, the restaurant was still buzzing. The bar was packed, tables were full, and the whole place had a fun, lively atmosphere. We were seated immediately, and our server, Matthew, made our first visit even better. He was friendly, attentive, and offered some great recommendations. On his suggestion, we ordered the meatball pizza, and wow, it was incredible. Every single one of us loved it. We also started with the clams, which were absolutely delicious. Our only complaint is that we wished they had given us more sourdough because the sauce was so good we could have eaten it by the spoonful. Definitely order this as an appetizer. For our mains, we had the Spicy Rig and the chicken pasta. The Spicy Rig was a huge hit at our table and easily one of our favorite dishes of the night. The chicken pasta was good too. We loved the pasta itself, but the chicken was a little dry. I enjoyed the pasta so much that I even bought a bag of their dried pasta to take home. At $15 for a one-pound bag, it felt like a fun and unique souvenir. We also ordered the apple strudel and the Rocky Road pie for dessert, and both were fantastic. A couple of cocktails rounded out a really wonderful meal. At one point, a large group of nearly 20 people came in and got a little rowdy. It became so loud that we had trouble hearing each other at our table. Of course, that wasn't the restaurant's fault, and we weren't upset about it, but it did affect our experience a bit. What happened next completely won us over. When it was time to pay, the manager comped our desserts, which was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture. We already loved the food and planned to come back, but that level of hospitality made this experience truly memorable. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the kindness shown by both Matthew and the manager was above and beyond. If you're debating whether to give this place a try, just go. It has officially become one of those restaurants we'll make a point to visit anytime we're in town. read more

This new location is fabulous! Definitely make a reservation if your heart is set on going here. They do have a great system for the waitlist that shows you your spot in line if you are willing to wait. We sat on the patio, which has an almost identical feel and vibe to Cactus next door. Fun people watching! Our server was attentive, which was impressive since it's a new spot and was pretty busy. We started with cosmos and they were lovely! The drinks are consistently good here. As a gluten free gal, this is not my fave place to eat. The fries are made in a shared fryer, the gluten free bun is eh, and they have no gluten free pasta or flatbread. Sometimes I get the salmon burger lettuce wrapped, but it isn't super exciting in my opinion. I mostly go for the drinks. In terms of food, drink, atmosphere, and busy-level, this is pretty much exactly like Woodinville's location! read more

Happened to be out walking and saw a new place open, today was their soft opening. Service was great. Ambiance was fun. There's a drinks wheel that they spin about every half hour that where it lands is what discount is available for the next 30 mins. Calamari was nice and crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. The pizza was amazing! Sourdough crust was made thin and crispy. The cheese pull was amazing and the toppings were great. The pasta is sourdough and homemade. Texture was lovely, I had the spicy "rigs". The sauce was great with a slight spicy kick. The crispy prosciutto provided a nice crunch. Overall, a great place to have lunch and they even offered a 25% off during lunch hour for local residents. So definitely worth supporting a local business! read more

I wanted to give a 5/5 stars for our server, Wayne. He was very friendly and when I had concerns about the ingredients and spice level of my pizza, he confirmed with me on what I was comfortable with. As for the atmosphere, if you've been to the Woodinville or Seattle locations, the vibe is pretty much the same, which is pleasant and lively at times. The only awkward thing about the place is the main entrance. It's pretty tight but if you've entered, the host stand is directly on the left. Now for the food, we've been to the Woodinville location multiple times and have not been disappointed. We ordered a couple of different items that weren't the pasta and our reviews are mixed. We ordered the calamari, a pizza, and a burger. The burger was supposed to be some pink but it was pretty much well done. The taste was great nonetheless and the patty was still juicy and flavorful. The calamari on the other hand was honestly a disappointment. It had a weird taste to it that wasn't particularly pleasant. We had a few and were turned off by it. Finally, the pizza. The taste itself was fine but the texture was not right. I'm not sure if it's because it's made with whole milk mozzarella, but the cheese was not fully melted and was kind of rubbery. Reheating it the next day didn't help. The bread got super hard and somehow the cheese also? I'm not sure if the food quality is due to the location but I'm not sure if we'd return to this location. read more

Love that Vonns has come to Kirkland. It's a very fun place; great drinks and a great menu with something for everyone. They did a nice job on the remodel-it is open and inviting. The food was good generally. We had Pizzas, a pasta and a sandwich at the table. That said, the tables for 4 are just too small. This led to a mishap and also having to eat from a dish in hand. I challenge management to have a table for 4, each with a pizza, drinks and share plates and make it work. The service was friendly and fast. The issues would've led to 3 stars, but it's Vonns and all else was great. One of the most fun family restaurants in Kirkland. read more

Von's is a long standing fan fave in our area. It's been around for a long time as I recall the OG location in Seattle which was always a blast. This is prime comfort food and I do love the fries especially. The sourdough on the menu is a big part of Von's as is the wheel for drink specials. I enjoyed my salad and wine oh, and fries. The new Kirkland location is very popular so get there early. There are a lot of options for waiting while having a drink nearby or walking to the marina. Great choice putting a location in Kirkland. I love Vonn's downtown and in Woodinville. This new location in Kirkland is prime real estate. They are VERY new, so if you're patient while they're working out all of their kinks, you'll get the same drinks and food at their other locations. Caught Von's 1000 Spirits on opening weekend and left seriously impressed. We worked our way through a good chunk of the menu; sourdough pizza (that crust and flavor are something else), clams, meatballs, a burger, wood blasted broccoli, and more. Everything tasted homemade and fresh, like someone actually cared about what landed on the plate. Yes, it's opening weekend, so a few things are still being dialed in, but honestly, that's to be expected and it didn't take away from the experience at all. Ate here last night and based on my experience, I would never return. Ordered the chicken grinder and the bread was tough and chicken was so overcooked it was like chewing on cardboard. They are supposed to have really good sourdough bread but honestly, the bread was so tough to bite into and dry. The accompanying salad was so overdressed to the point of soggy. So get this. It was finally a nice day on the weekend so everyone's eating out. We show up here bc we have had this place before in another location. This place has plenty of tables open. The guy in front of me asked for a table. She turned him away and gave him a coupon to come back (remember this part of the story, it's key) I step up, the lady asks if I have a reservation. I say no. She's says they aren't taking waitlist/walkups bc it's their "opening week" and they are only taking reservations. And it may be for a couple weeks. And hands me a coupon...of course I ask is there a way for us to know this kinda stuff like on the website or something...of course they're clueless. I take my coupon and walk away. Now, remember the guy in front of me I said got turned away? While we were standing outside for a few min (trying to understand why they would turn away money with a bunch of open tables inside and outside) the lady from the front who was turning away people sat someone at one of the open tables outside. Not 7 sec later, the guy who was in front of me walked over and sat at that table. The guy she sat was his friend (meaning he def didn't have reservations either, but he got seated.) And they were laughing. The guy who was in front of me told his friend that "this table was wide open". So yes, i'm very irritated and frustrated my beautiful Summer Sunday was in the moment spoiled. And not just because we were turned away. But bc they CLEARLY were lying in saying you needed reservations. And picked and chose who to seat. (Btw, I'm black. Just sayin) Ur not new. Ur a chain restaurant, not an actual new restaurant trying to figure out how everything works. And u CLEARLY don't need to make a reservation. There were plenty of seats open and u picked and chose who to seat.
