Our water main had totally ruptured and we had to move the water meter because of city regs. Elijah was super flexible and came up with a few ideas to fix the situation. We ended up putting an access hatch in the floor. He did a clean job cutting the floor (even though that's not exactly what a plumber expects to be doing at a job). He had a ton of cool tools to get the job done. He was polite, fast, and seemed like he really cared to do a good job. He said "I work as if I'm working on my own home". This is not the first company I have used for my furnace so I have past experiences to compare. I can't say enough good things about Elijah and the service that I received from him and his technician Jamie. My heat broke during the coldest week in January and Elijah came out the day that we called him. My heat broke again from a separate issue last week and Elijah was again extremely responsive. The feeling that I get from contacting Elijah is that my problem becomes his problem and he is dedicated to fixing it. Our heating unit is, inconveniently, on the roof and Elijah is always patient and understanding of the situation. HVAC units are not cheap to repair, in general, but Elijah and ProSolutions seem more concerned with arriving at the end goal through quality work as opposed to trying to make a buck off you. Elijah doesn't return phone calls. Not like 1x I didn't hear back from the guy. Like have tried to have him over for 2 jobs at my house (steam radiator and water heater) and never hear back. One time, I managed to catch him on my second try. Nice guy (as has been well noted), but that doesn't really matter if you can't get in touch with him...I picture my beautiful ex-wife who can bake a wonderful cake but kept screwing all the neighbors; somehow the moistness of the cake didn't matter once she was impregnated by Mike the Banker three houses down. No problem if he's busy/doesn't want the job/whatever, but when I see a guy review this high on Yelp, I get damn excited about trying him out....then....wait....wait....call again....wait....give up and move on. read more

Solid across the board. Elijah is diligent, prompt, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable. Elijah thoroughly diagnosed and explained the problem at hand - the kitchen radiator valve needed to be repacked and tightened, as it was leaking condensation into the condo unit below. Elijah also inspected all the other radiators in the condo unit, and consequently repacked the bathroom radiator valve, as there was a minor leak. Furthermore, Elijah double-checked the exposed pipes in the condo unit, and offered his candid assessment. Total charges $222.50. Great service and outstanding work. He has done routine service on my boiler heating system, but diagnosed the reason the zones weren't working properly which unfortunately was a big mess of all the piping in the basement. Not that anyone wants to spend thousands to rebuild their boiler system, but he did it super fast (in and out in less than 3 days) for a reasonable price and it's working great. I even had the boiler stop working on a weekend and he was kind enough to answer a text to get it working again. Finally, he is awesome being able to explain everything to you - if you want to understand what's going on and what's working/not working, he will take the time to explain things clearly. Shower/bath faucet broke over the weekend so I was out of hot water for several days. Called multiple plumbers (over 5??) on Monday, none with availability for a week and one in a couple days but he just gave me a weird vibe so I canceled. Jaime from ProSolutions got back to me promptly and with a picture of the valve, he was able to go by his supply house and come by that night with the replacement part. He was realistic with time expectations, kept me updated on his whereabouts and a pleasant guest in my home. Turns out he got a slightly defective part from his supplier and the water started to leak about 30 min after but the hot water worked at least. I was able to turn off the main valve easily so it wasn't a big deal and a few days later, he shows up with a new replacement part (with all the pieces) and even provided me extra silicone lube (woo!). In conclusion, great guy to work with and will definitely go to him for future plumbing issues..which hopefully won't be anytime soon. Highly recommended! read more

Called ProSolutions in originally to create a stand pipe and gas line for our washer and dryer in the basement as well as to fix other plumbing issues in the house. After getting stood up by Back Bay Mechanical and Gomes,I was fortunate enough to call ProSolutions Bath & Boiler. I spoke to Elijah, gave him a quick description of the problem with my Central Air/Heating unit. He immediately gave me a sense of confidence when he said "if it was a system made by man, chance are I can fix it". He came out the same day, quickly diagnosed and repaired the clunking problem with my circulator fan (turns out the last guy who replaced the fan didn't install it properly and some screws had fallen out). This is a review of the work and professionalism of the founder of this company. I hired Elijah *before* he started his own company (this company). It is no surprise to me that Elijah started something like this. My father is a master plumber and I spent plenty of time working with him so while I knew nothing about the gas lines, and equipment Elijah installed, I do know enough about the Trades to know when someone is practicing craftsmanship. There was no bull with him. I recently sold the house that Elijah worked on, the value certainly went up because of the gas equipment he installed. I miss that furnace and continuous water heater so was looking for Elijah to install the same thing in my new place. When I called and found out he started his own firm, I sought him out because honest, skilled, straight talking tradesmen are hard to find. I called a larger plumbing company for an issue with my shower that was causing the water to continue to flow even when in the off position. They weren't going to be able to come out for a few days but recommended that I try Elijah at Pro Solutions. I am very glad that they did! Five stars is not enough, these guys are simply the best, ProSolutions has a customer for life!!!!........ And just like someone else wrote, the service was so good it prompted me to write my first yelp review ever..... Background: I recently became a landlord and, almost on cue, the hot water goes out. I had some other plumber (not ProSolutions) come and "assess" the situation. This was my first mistake. Day 1 this other plumber tells me the entire system need replacing. Day 2 I'm told my "fan" is broken and another day goes by without hot water. After three days without hot water, I finally called Jaime from ProSolutions. As I described the situation, Jaime already knew the likely cause of the issue, sight unseen. Jaime came out immediately, assessed the situation and got the hot water working that day! (He literally vowed not to leave until the hot water was working.) Like others have said, immediately, my problem became Jaime's problem. He rush ordered a part from his supplier and stayed at my place all afternoon waiting for the part, testing the system, and ensuring the hot water was back and running smoothly. If it wasn't for Jaime, my tenants might still be without hot water and I'd would have spent over $2k on an un-needed part. Jaime saved me thousands of dollars, absolutely bailed me out and took the stress out of a stressful situation. Jaime has all the qualities you look for in a service provider: he's responsive, he communicates extremely well, he understands the sense of urgency (especially with tenants), he's trustworthy, he's smart & he takes pride in his work. Elijah was awesome! Firstly, he was very responsive-- I heard back from him right away. He fixed a leaky bath faucet for me-- he assessed the problem, went to get the parts, and fixed it all within one day's visit. I had tried other plumbers who were asking me to go out to get the parts for myself etc. I just don't have the time or expertise for this.. Elijah was so great and managed the entire process himself! This guy seams knowledgable and based off great reviews maybe he just had a problem with me. But I paid him $250 to come and look at my steam radiator. He came looked around for 2 hours told me a list of stuff wrong I asked him for a quote. He sent me a invoice restating everything wrong with no numbers as to cost to fix. I asked for a quoted estimated price to fix a second time by email and a third time by voicemail after that he never responded. Very importantly, Elijah is responsive and prompt. He called on his way to our house and arrived exactly when he said that he would. When we called, we had a strange odor in the room that houses our washer/dryer. He had some ideas about that. We also suspected that our hot and cold water hoses were reversed. By the time he arrived, the smell had subsided. However, he did find that the hoses were reversed. As it turns out, the hoses on our high end washer are configured opposite to hoses on most washer units. While it seemed like a lot of money to reverse hoses, we knew up front that the minimal charge would be for two hours. We would recommend Elijah. Nice to find a reliable plumber. read more

Elijah is great. This is THE GUY to call if you have steam. I'm sure he's plenty good for everything else too but he specializes in steam. I had a radiator that was banging like hell, so after looking at and listening to my system heat up, he correctly diagnosed a broken shutoff valve. Elijah then cut the valve off and surgically removed the welded on valve threads without damaging the threads on my radiator (this takes serious skill and practice) before installing the new gear.
