It worked beautifully, because everyone at the company does high quality work, and the Arganbrights have great integrity and years of experience. They write very detailed construction proposals, with each element priced out, so there are no hidden costs or surprises. (Their prices are more than fair, by the way.) They sent photos and kept in regular phone and email contact, so we completely felt in the loop while work was being done. The Iowa-made WoodHarbor cabinets they feature are high quality, and the Arganbrights have good relationships with suppliers such as Cambria (quartz countertops) that result in savings to the homeowner. When we arrived from CA, the house was very thoroughly cleaned, all appliances checked and it was ready for move in. We recommend WoodHarbor highly. Remodeling and construction are usually stress-filled endeavors, but not so this time. We would work with the Arganbrights again, happily.

When we first received the estimate, we were told the shower and all associated work came with a lifetime warranty. Since then, we have had a recurring mold issue forming behind the silicone. They did come out once before and reapply the caulking, but the mold issue continues. After reviewing the contract, it does state that caulking itself is not included in the warranty. However, our concern is not normal caulking wear, but the repeated failure and mold forming behind the silicone after it has already been replaced. Under normal conditions, properly installed and sealed silicone should not be allowing mold to develop in this way. When we contacted customer service, we were told there would be a $250 service fee to come out and inspect the issue, and when we requested escalation, we were advised it could only be handled via email with a callback at an unspecified time. At this point, our concern is that this appears to be a workmanship or installation issue rather than routine caulking maintenance, and the response we have received has not aligned with what we were originally told at the time of installation. Based on our experience, we are disappointed with both the ongoing issue and the handling of our concerns.

Prestige has a large selection of countertops. We went with cabinet install and countertop purchase…read moreand install. Then the reality was they did not know how to measure and did so by hand, not laser. They did not have expertise in installing the cabinets which resulted in some things left not done as well as broken. Due to Jason not accurately measuring for the countertops, there was much cutting and grinding to fit that took place at the home instead of in their shop, leaving the debris from the cutting and grinding stone all through the house, inside and outside; they did not even put up plastic sheeting to try to contain the mess. The design of the grain was pieced together in different directions, making for an unappealing look. They also cracked the stone and tried to cover it up with epoxy and then Jason lied about it. We were told it was just extra epoxy that could be scrapped off, which was a lie. After trying that and returning to let Justin know about the fact we were lied to and it was indeed a section of the countertop that the installers had damaged and tried to hide from us, we were offered half off the quoted price and the attempt to try to fill it in, but they could not guarantee the results. It was at this point that we found that we were considered an experiment as they did not have as much experience as we were initially led to believe. First, we would like to deal with a company that has integrity, and second, did not want a new countertop to have the appearance of an old damaged countertop. Justin accepted complete responsibility. We paid another company to uninstall the countertops, as we did not feel comfortable signing a waiver releasing Prestige of any damage they might cause in the removal of countertops. We did get a refund on the price paid after they picked up their product. The new company that we paid to take the countertops off informed us they were not installed properly! There was way too much glue in some places and not enough glue and caulking in other places. The reality that the stone was not securely installed was rather frightening. In placing an order with another company we also found that the square footage Prestige used and initially charged for was over and above what the measurements by the company we are now using were, resulting in charging the customer several hundred dollars for incorrectly measured square footage. Make sure to use a company that uses an accurate laser measurement system.

I told her that we would be contacting an attorney, and asked her name again because I needed to note who I spoke with. She said, "You aren't giving my name to any attorney, they will be talking to TheraSpa." Then she yelled "F$&k you!" and hung up. Take your business elsewhere, they prey on elderly people!!!
