Pineview Buildings is a dishonest company with many internal communication and integrity problems…read more I had been renting a building and fell behind on my payments when a family member got sick. They came and took my rental building, while no one was home, without calling, and with all of my property in it. I called the very next day to inform of my intent to pay and set up a payment date. I told the woman when I was going to be able to pay, and I was told that it would not be a problem. Nothing was ever mentioned during this call that about only having 15 days to make a payment. In fact, the day that we agreed on paying was beyond the 15 day period. Yet, again, nothing was said about them taking ownership of my property. On the original agreement date to pay my back balance I called to regretfully extend the payment date. Again, nothing of my property being relinquished was mentioned. I did this two other times, and again, nothing was ever mentioned about my property. I paid my back balance, and a re delivery fee, assuming that, as I was told originally, my property would still be in the building. I paid for them to redeliver an empty building. All of my memories, tools, dishes, daughters clothes and crib, things that I cant get back.. gone. Taken by this business's employees rummaging though and taking whatever they want. The exact words used by Leon Helmuth were "we let some of them them [employess] go through it, some of it was thrown away, and some of it was sold." but did not keep a log or any type of record of what was sold or given or thrown away. That is very unprofessional. Why wasn't I told during this 4-5 calls that my property would be taken? Why wasn't I told when I called to pay the back balance and told the gentleman that I wanted redelivery of my rental building AND property? It was nearly two weeks from the time I paid up to the time I had to reach out (for the second time) about redelivery. Were they giving away and selling me property during those nearly two weeks? The communication internally and with customers is non existent. There are two different companies and if you try to call them they bounce you back and forth between the two until you get put with someone who doesn't know how to properly handle the call and made a claim that was not kept. And after a conversation with the delivery driver while bringing the building back, he told my wife that we were liars. That we never called to arrange repayment. That we never called back periodically to update. So in conclusion, the rental company parent company do not communicate with each other, and because of that they have Pineview employees in possession of my daughters clothes, my family heirlooms and tools. I'm still waiting to be sent a copy of my rental agreement. I would also like contact information for your regional or district manager as well as contact information for your parent company. Please reply in a timely manner.

They had issues related to a mill being stolen but I was willing to wait because they're a small, local company. So Jared says my slab is set to be cut first week of May and he contacted me May 3rd to verify measurements and he says they're getting ready to cut it. That's the last contact Jared had with me. I recommended to my family to go to hilltop for an unrelated wood project. While they were at hilltop in early July, they asked about the status of my wood slab and were told "yeah, we couldn't do that". That was the entire explanation. I never heard from Jared. Horrible customer service and honestly would never do business with them. I'd still be waiting if family members hadn't happened to ask while they were there. Do yourself a favor and go to Asheville Hardware instead, I walked in and had my pick of over 100 slabs, got one for cheaper than hilltop quoted me and had it in my garage that same day. So hilltop took 6 months and I got no slab. Asheville Hardware, I had a slab in my truck within an hour. The owner of hilltop left me a voicemail after I contacted them. Apparently he had no idea any of the issues with my order or the customer service I received which isn't a good sign for an extremely small business.

I was directed to the repair drop-off area in the back of the store, waited for one customer before me and then was helped for the warranty tool repair specialist (Brenden Swafford as I recall). He was knowledgeable, helpful and very pleasant to work with. I left the store after that drop-off. A couple hours later, Brenden called me, reported that the problem had been identified and that the free replacement part had been ordered. Now I am waiting for a call saying that it is fixed and waiting for pickup. A very pleasant and efficient process. I think they treat customers with respect in all the areas I was exposed to from entrance to exit to followup.

While walking us through the showroom and yard, Wesley was able to discern our tastes and style and we were able to pick out what would work in our kitchen and within our budget. With a few more visits, we made our final decision and placed our order. Installation was completed on schedule. We had a slight oops AFTER our countertops were installed and Wesley and Dwayne immediately made sure we were taken care of in a timely fashion. Over the past 1.5 years, I have shopped several times at this store and have been happy with my…read morepurchases. This latest purchase was not a similar experience. I went in looking for a small coffee table and found one that is glass/metal/wood. It was just the right size and matches the end tables I had bought a year ago. It was a good price, so they suggested that I just pick it up at the store when it arrived instead of paying almost $100 for delivery. In the past, I have had my purchases delivered and they arrive in one piece and are placed where I want them. This latest purchase made my head spin....is this now IKEA??? I arrive and am directed to the back for customer pick-up. The guy loads a box into my car. I bring home about 100 lbs. of coffee table PARTS!!! What??? The instructions say I will need to furnish my own screwdriver, they even have a picture of a good old standard screw driver;...so I go to my toolbox and get one. Part of the assembly ( an hour of IKEA-like hell ) is to screw the wooden panel into the frame. There are no holes or starts of holes in the wood. It would take a young athletic person with a LOT of muscle to put those screws into that thick hardwood panel by hand with a standard screwdriver. Sheesh. I am neither young, nor athletic. The metal pieces that are labeled with letters A, B, C, D are labeled with stickers that don't peel off. I tried soaking them off with a damp towel, but the adhesive is still on there. Can I use acetone or Goo Gone on them?? I have no idea. It could very well ruin the metal. I cannot predict....so I leave them as they are. I get my power screwdriver out and attempt to assemble this coffee table. But, because of the plethora of right angles, one cannot drive the screws straight in through the holes in the metal brackets and into the wood panel. It is not possible. The screws, then, end up at a slight angle and are not flush with the surface once they are all the way in. By the time I am done getting the pieces out of the packaging, assemble it as well as I can with the resources I have; I was quite ready to throw the thing on to the fire pit and burn it. Haverty's needs to put signs on all of the furniture that requires the customer to assemble it. I would have NEVER bought this piece if I had known. You are going the way of IKEA and it's not a good look. I'm in my early 60's. I deserve, as your customer, to be warned. I thought I was shopping in a fairly classy furniture store. I guess not-so-much anymore.

Terry was very friendly and honest when I walked in for the first time. Very detailed about was included in an annual service check up for my mower and how long before I could get my mower back. Not only did they change the oil, sharpen the blade and change out the plug, they did a thorough check of the mower to make sure everything was working as it should be. What they found, and the three previous service shops did not check, was my self propelled motor was not working properly. He said they would have to replace the transmission. Quoted $70 for the job. Brought the mower back one week later for the new transmission. Three days later picked it up. Terry charged me $4. He found it was only a broken plastic bracket that was causing the problem. Wow!! And each time my mower was in his shop, they cleaned it before returning the mower to me. Great service, honesty, and reasonable prices. Can't get any better than that. Thank you, Terry.
