Spilled leftover coffee in the cup holders, puppy stains, dust everywhere - you name it. Other places wanted to charge me $175 - $225, which I think is a little bonkers. Davon quoted me $120 and he worked SO hard on my car to make sure everything was perfect for ~2-hours. :) At the time I had my service completed, his car was in the shop so I drove to his Aurora home for the detailing. He let me stay inside his air conditioned, WiFi equipped home, and his wife even offered me iced tea or other drinks while I waited, happily working on my laptop while sitting on his comfy couch. I gave him over a 20% tip because he worked so diligently - plus he has a really cute, sweet, 6-month-old pupper! *Heart Emoji Here!* At first I felt a little apprehensive, entering someone's home I've just met and asking for the WiFi password - but Davon and his wife are just so incredibly nice. Andy installed interlocking flooring tiles on my outdoor balcony…read more To be fair, he pointed out 2 problems with the tiles that I had purchased: 1) the material is rather brittle; 2) unfortunately, when trimmed to fit a small space, sometimes they no longer interlock. Granted, but still his work was sloppy, and WAY overpriced. I don't believe he measured any of the cuts he needed to make, so none of the cut areas fit well in the spaces they're supposed to fill. Some of the cuts aren't square, and some aren't even straight lines. To illustrate how brittle the material is, he pointed out a crack that had happened -- but it cracked because he hadn't cut it enough, so it doesn't fit in the spot. I had signed his estimate, so I honored what I had agreed to pay -- but that was MORE THAN 3 TIMES what it would have cost to simply pay his hourly rate! He didn't even consolidate the trash into one place, but left some trash in each of the 5 empty tile boxes. I paid a huge amount of money for a very poor job. I certainly won't call on him again, nor recommend him to anyone else.
