From day 1 they made mistakes first by digging the trench not deep enough, then capping the gas line incorrectly delaying my family get hot water an extra 3 days. To make matters worse they reassemble my yard horrible not putting any sand base on my rocks and pavers. They refuse to provide an invoice or contract for the work they did. The only times they contact me was to collect payment. If you get Keith don't trust any BS he sells you. He will try to pull the salesman pitch on you but the moment you sign comes the excuses and denial. "What separates us over others is our customer service," the guy didn't send the estimate until the job was completed. Do yourself a favor and go with the other guy!!

The heat pump gave us air conditioning in addition to heat - a welcome bonus. Recently, we started hearing a whistling sound and worried that a bearing or other component was going bad. Max Air came out, examined the system top-to-bottom and determined that the ductwork in our house was too small and that the force of air through the ducts caused the whistling. They adjusted the fan to blow more gently and that took care of the whistling. Max Air could have told us we need to replace all ductwork. Instead they found an easy and practical solution for us. TIMELY- Uriel called 30 min before his arrival and then, arrived at the stated time. This is particularly helpful so I can move my bunny to another room with all of his belongings. ATTENTION TO DETAIL - I saw him place a protective cloth down on the floor before he placed the ladder and tools down. I also noticed there was a bottle of cleaner with his supplies. He cleaned the inside vents as well as the compressor on the roof. He also tied off a loose wire/when checking the air handler in the ceiling. KNOWLEDGEABLE and THROROUGH - Uriel did a complete system check and then, he sat down with me to explain what was done and why. He addressed the concerns I had about some of the prior readings in terms that I could understand and shared tips that will help ensure my system runs at its most efficient. Example: A higher MERV doesn't always mean "better" and can actually restrict the airflow. He said that for my particular system I should use a MERV10 filter and change it every 3 months. He changed my filters and then, left me with two spares to use before the fall check comes. FRIENDLY - In the course of chatting with Uriel, it came up that I might benefit from having more filtered air coming into my condo. He made a recommendation for a part that would replace the standalone room air purifier I currently use. He placed this info into the after-visit summary so I can "research it and see if it fits with my needs and finances." There was zero pressure to make a purchase on the spot. And while this next item has nothing to do with the knowledge or ability of an HVAC tech, I greatly appreciate that he did NOT smell like cigarette / e-cigarette smoke or strong cologne as I have a bunny and people in my family have asthma. He and his employee, Jason, were GREAT! They took the time to actually complete the job, explain solutions moving forward, what would help and hurt our pipes even more....the previous guy that came out suggested we use an enzyme, however we have cast iron piping because our house is old and David explained how that actually wasn't good to use. He also took notice that I do not like to use chemicals and use more plant based, natural products so when they were cleaning up, he asked to use my stuff to clean up. They did the cleanest job I have experienced. I feel like there is always a mess left behind and David and Jason made sure everything was clean when they left.
