Our Kitchen sink was very slow to drain, and we had a different company come out and snake it, twice, and it didn't work. Then our neighbor recommended David from Templars Plumbing. He and his employee, Jason, were GREAT! They took the time to actually complete the job, explain solutions moving forward, what would help and hurt our pipes even more....the previous guy that came out suggested we use an enzyme, however we have cast iron piping because our house is old and David explained how that actually wasn't good to use. He also took notice that I do not like to use chemicals and use more plant based, natural products so when they were cleaning up, he asked to use my stuff to clean up. They did the cleanest job I have experienced. I feel like there is always a mess left behind and David and Jason made sure everything was clean when they left. CONSUMER ALERT-This company is not a licensed contractor . Check the contractors board website , you will not find them . this type of work requires a contractors license . This a small company out doing very important work with fire to heat , plumbing and all sorts of work . How do you know that are qualified . There is NO protection for you as a consumer . They have an LLC to hopefully protect THEMSELVES ( not you ) if your house blows up or they flood your house with faulty plumbing work . By the way, how can you perform so many important trades . Scary that they don't specialize in one trade . Anybody can have their friends give good reviews . Another problem is. These guys are charging real contractors rated . Could not believe the extremely high pricing received over the phone . Basically for unqualified handyman work . Be careful . We had a new dishwasher installed and during installation, the installers let us know our water valve was corroded and needed to be replaced. It was dripping nonstop so I quickly called and David got the parts and was over in an hour. I appreciated that he used a high quality piece and also was able to shorten the dishwasher hose and reposition it so it drained properly.
