The Traditional with Sausage and Banana Peppers. My favorite of the three!
    Laryssa F.

We are pizza snobs to start out. It takes a lot to impress us, and the first way to our heart was that Proto offers HALF BAKED PIES!!! So you can finish them on your own stone when you get home or are actually ready to eat. This is the first place we have ever come across that has allowed this. We ordered 3 medium pies so we could try a variety. They are super thin and crispy and just amazing. Honestly, my least fav out of the 3 was the Angel pie just because it was so plain after I tasted the other two. We happened to show up during happy hour 4pm, so we ordered drinks while we waited. It was a $1 off all alcohol drinks. The bartender was super nice.

    Large Margherita DOCG

Great wood-fired pizza, but the pricing is a little wild if you ask me. I ordered the Hula pie and my husband got the Margherita DOCG. He's a huge fan of Margherita pizza and this easily landed in his top 3. I think the authenticity made it perfect. As for my pizza, it was pretty good. I didn't have any life changing experiences eating it. It got the job done: fed me without making me shit my pants later. One thing I will add is that it's not very filling. You could nearly eat a whole large by yourself before realizing what you've done. Another thing is they added an "employee benefits" charge to our to-go bill. I wish we noticed that before tipping because I absolutely hate when restaurants try to shirk their responsibility of paying their workers a living wage and instead make their customers pay. Not cool.

    Sauerkraut & sausage pizza

Quiet little neighborhood pizza place. Menu has a few diverse options but really its just the basics every pizza place has. The crust was thin, with a small floury crunch to it. It held up nicely against the sauce & cheese and didn't get too soggy. They don't offer kids menu choices so we just got a small cheese for our son. They do have high chairs & boosters but no crayons or other table doodads. My husband tried the unusual pizza of sauerkraut & sausage and I made a create your own. He liked the pizza ok enough, and so did I but its not something I would go out of my way to eat. The location is in a bit of a strip mall business office deal, with parking just in the general lot. Service was ok & basic. Don't know what could be different and we were the only ones there at the time. I wish I could say more but it was overall just ok.

Damn. Damn. I tried this place several years ago, it was OK. That was then. This is now. Long story short, I'm staying nearby and its within crawling distance to my AirBnB. This pizza was the bomb. The crust was beautiful, sauce divine. Wasn't overly salty/cheesy/greasy/slide right through you pizza. You know what I mean. Don't lie and say you don't. It's happened to all of us. They cared. They cared about the food they're serving. I sat at the bar by myself, everybody was friendly. Truly a warm respite to cold evening. Glass of red number two is almost done. Time to sign my check. Thumbs up all the way. Well shit. Glass number three happened. So it goes. To quote Arnold, " Ahhlll be bahck" Ken 720-425-2407

Expensive pizza comes amazing pizza! You get what you pay for! Full bar and delicious pizza? This is the spurges for great thin lightly toasted open oven style pizza. Reminds me of old fashioned Me-n-Eds in California

    A rare slice of perfection!

Will be back (and again and again, but shhh! You should go before everyone finds out about it). People 10/10. Real, kind, generous. And with fun tidbits of conversation and humor. Ambiance: excellent for breakfast or brunch with friends, working solitary on your laptop, having a quick sandwich on the rooftop patio, or a work meeting (in-person would be nice because the velvet couches are legit). I really liked the attention to details (such as the hooks for hanging a purse under the countertop). Cool decor and the vibe is like somebody oversized den, but instagram-worthy, you know? The two highlights (neither of which I captured in pictures) were the mortadella sandwich (with mayo and what I think was pistachio) - EXCELLENT. It was a little pricey at $14 but a simple and hearty lunch. The other stand out item was their brownie - It was a mix of a little lava cake and chocolate fudge - again a little pricey but of all the things I got it was worth every penny. There is a walk up/take-away area and a sit down area that was charming. Parking is not always easy in the area but worth the struggle. I was extremely impressed and will be returning regularly.

I came here with a group of 24 people FOR LUNCH and we were greeted warmly and each of us were treated like VIP's. Starting with the in-house made bread that was FRESH and crusty but soft inside. The bread was served with olive oil and was a a great way to kick off the meal. The menu has so many choices it's hard to choose what to try. I decided to start with the ZUPPA CAPRESE soup- $8 Roasted garlic, tomato and basil with melted mozzarella crostini. Mmm mmm good! EXCELLENT layering of fresh flavors. Next I got the lunch antipasti - appetizer with steak and fire roasted peppers and eggplant. The complexity of flavors was absolutely incredible. There was enough food to make a nice meal. I didn't need anything else! Alas, the linguine putanesca - Linguine, olives, capers, garlic, tomato basil sauce called my name and I could not say no. I added some grilled chicken for protein. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce was so flavorful! My only complaints are that I probably had one or 2 olives total, once you add up the little pieces. Also, that chicken I added? $6 for 6 tiny little partial chicken strips. Overall, given the great flavor and excellent service, this is my new favorite Italian restaurant! Troy - thank you for making each of us feel welcome. Bravissimo, Caprese Trattoria! I'll be back!

We love being able to choose from 4-6 pizza varieties by the slice and they have some magical way of making it like it came straight from the oven. Pasta meat sauce is the best, salads are large and great. I offer the following comments not so much as a complaint but more as constructive criticism that I hope will result in corrective action for the future. We had to bus and wipe down our own table. Yes - they were busy but 3-4 tables were empty but not cleaned. My salad was served with no dressing. One advantage to ordering slices is speed. That was certainly not the case tonight. In general the ordering process is slow. Tonight it stalled. Please work on these service based concerns. Your product is top notch.

Such a moment arrived as I stepped into Antonio's, where the warm, amber light fell upon the counter like a benediction, and two slices, humble in form, heroic in spirit called out with the quiet confidence of things well crafted and sure of their welcome. The Calabrian Spicy slice stood first, crimson-kissed by oils that shimmered like sunlight on distant southern seas. Its peppered heat did not assault the senses, but rose instead like a disciplined flame, bright and earnest, coaxing forth the deeper notes of the cheese and the well-rested dough beneath. It was as though Calabria itself, with its windswept coasts and ancient hills, had whispered into the ear of the baker, bidding him craft a slice that speaks of vigor, warmth, and unapologetic fire. Each bite unfurled like a stanza, bold yet harmonious, a small poem forged in spice and heat. Beside it, in gracious contrast, lay the Chicken Tikka Marsala slice a traveler from distant lands, bearing with it the fragrance of cardamom twilight and saffron dawns. The sauce, rich as a painter's final stroke on canvas, carried the gentle mysticism of the East. It wrapped the chicken in a cloak of warm spices, tender and abundant. This slice did not seek to conquer the appetite with intensity; rather, it invited the diner into its quiet temple, where flavor deepens like thought in the reflective hours of evening. It was a pilgrimage in a single plate, a meeting place of continents upon a sheet of humble dough. Together, these slices formed a duet: one fiery, one contemplative; one singing the high, bright music of Mediterranean fervor, the other murmuring the resonant, soulful hymns of the Indian subcontinent. And Antonio's wise curator of this delicious conversation stood as the keeper of a table where worlds are not only bridged but joyously celebrated. To eat them was to be reminded that even in the simplest corners of our days, delight waits: warm, aromatic, and ready to crown the humble with a taste that lingers long after the final bite has gone.
