This is a dream come true for this Italian food lover!! Excellent food, service, and nice ambiance. I came here with a group of 24 people FOR LUNCH and we were greeted warmly and each of us were treated like VIP's. Starting with the in-house made bread that was FRESH and crusty but soft inside. The bread was served with olive oil and was a a great way to kick off the meal. The menu has so many choices it's hard to choose what to try. I decided to start with the ZUPPA CAPRESE soup- $8 Roasted garlic, tomato and basil with melted mozzarella crostini. Mmm mmm good! EXCELLENT layering of fresh flavors. Next I got the lunch antipasti - appetizer with steak and fire roasted peppers and eggplant. The complexity of flavors was absolutely incredible. There was enough food to make a nice meal. I didn't need anything else! Alas, the linguine putanesca - Linguine, olives, capers, garlic, tomato basil sauce called my name and I could not say no. I added some grilled chicken for protein. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce was so flavorful! My only complaints are that I probably had one or 2 olives total, once you add up the little pieces. Also, that chicken I added? $6 for 6 tiny little partial chicken strips. Overall, given the great flavor and excellent service, this is my new favorite Italian restaurant! Troy - thank you for making each of us feel welcome. Bravissimo, Caprese Trattoria! I'll be back!

Went there for happy hour. Ordered the Avocado Bruschetta, the tuna and the calamari. Comes with some bread and olive oil for dipping. The bruschetta and the tuna were really good. The only reason not to give another star was the rubbery calamari. Happy hour is a good deal. The server was attentive and good. The atmosphere is modern. Its an open kitchen so a lot of chatter from the kitchen staff. Would try the margarita pizza next time .

Was very surprised to find such a great Italian restaurant on our first try while visiting Longmont this past week. Went there with Seaver colleagues and we each had something a bit different - and they all were delicious! Our waitress was very helpful on the menu and drink selections, helping us decide what to order and checking back in several times to make sure everything was enjoyable. Everyone there is super friendly and the environment is laid back and relaxing.

Cannoli was one of the best I've had!

As a first time customer our server was very helpful with the menu and attentive to our table while allowing our group time to relax and visit with our meal. Everything we had was so delicious!

Ray was literal sunshine as soon as we walked in and was constantly attentive while also giving us space. Full bar perfect for a solo dinner or make sure to sit near the open kitchen to watch some magic happen. The decor and ambiance leaves a bit to be desired, but the food makes up for it. The pesto sauce all over my gnocchi was unique, the fresh herbs shone, I wanted to lap it up with a spoon! It was tough to stay ladylike. The tiramisu was rich yet light and not too sweet, perfect flavor. The pistachio ice cream is the best kept secret! Made fresh weekly by hand by an actual nonna! It's nutty, salty, it's sweet and creamy, it's almost a gorgeous custard. This actually tastes like fresh, salted, roasted pistachios and mascarpone had an ice cream wonder child. It has a consistency and flavor that reminds me of the historic ice cream in souk Hamidiyeh, Damascus, Syria that makes ice cream the same way since Jesus was there. So nostalgic! A must try!

Happy hour is the only time I'd return here for discounted apps and cocktails. Jason, my server was superb. Friendly banter, fast response, accurate. Negroni Ferrari cocktail was spot on and and excellent pairing with Fiore Di Zucca (mozzarella stuffed fried squash blossoms). Menu claims "Lightly Fried." No, no they were certainly NOT: Sadly Fiore Di Zucca were Deeply Fried, heavy batter, and greasy. Not good, and unexpected as a "House Specialty?" Lose a star. Dog friendly patio was great ambiance. No music?

    Gnocchi with pesto cream sauce

I came here for a meal on a work trip, Google has this with 4.4 stars vs Yelp so figured I would give it a shot. Got seated right away on a Monday with happy hour all evening. Ordered the meatballs (polpette) and they came out almost instantly. So I wonder if the happy hour items are semi ready to go. These were fairly good, but definitely not piping hot and not super moist. The highlight of my dinner, however. Then I ordered the gnocchi as I saw they are made fresh daily with the pesto cream sauce which is usually a go to when in doubt. The gnocchi was very overcooked to the point I could have been eating shaped mashed potatoes. The creamy pesto was lacking flavor/salt. My table also didn't have parmesan at hand so I ate about 12 gnocchi before calling it. I wound up dipping the bread in the sauce which added texture and salt, and that was better than the dish as it was. Server was fairly attentive and kind. All in all, an OK experience. Better menu options may exist and I just did not order them. Nice place otherwise with open kitchen and bar area.

My son and I had the bast Saturday afternoon date! We went unintentionally at 3 pm just when happy hour starts. We got delicious apps and we also ordered two entrees. Garlic lemon shrimp scampi and pappardelle bolognese. Logan aka"brine boy" was a top notch and very engaging server. Very knowledgeable!! He made our late lunch wonderful! Give that boy a raise! Thank you to CT! We will be back!

Friend ordered chicken marsala and said no cheese on anything and we reiterated on anything. His food comes with asiago potatoes. What is asiago? Cheese. The server had the audacity to tell him that's how they come so next time he should order them without potatoes. He didn't know they were cheesy potatoes. It's her job to say they come with cheesy potatoes would you like to substitute it with something else. Mine and his wife's water were never refilled, and we were empty. He asked for a glass of water which never came so he had to ask again. So if the service wasn't bad enough, the food took care of it. It was terrible. I barely ate any of my chicken Parm. The sauce is so gross. It is just like canned tomato sauce dumped on the pasta. It had absolutely no seasoning. It just tasted like sugar so I didn't touch the pasta at all. The chicken was terrible. My friend didn't like the marsala and clearly could not eat the cheesy potatoes. The breadsticks we got were disgusting. They were practically white and doughy and undercooked. When I look at pictures of other peoples in the reviews that actually look baked ours look nothing like that they were horrible. How is this place in business? First and last time

A lovely gentleman sat in the open bar stool next to me. Turns out he's a regular and longtime Boulder resident. He gave me some menu tips. Plus it was fun to learn about him and his business. I had the red wine on tap. Delicious and $9. Two favorite qualities in wine. I got the bolognese with linguini. It was beyond fabulous. Insert chef's kiss! I took a small container home because I knew it would make a perfect lunch the next day, and it was. The rolls are divine. Hard, crunchy exterior with softness on the interior.
