You order your food and pay up front and then they bring the food to you. There was one server that was extremely short with us, the other one was really sweet. There is a lot of seating available inside. The walls are lined with animal heads, so gives it a rustic hunting feel. I was most excited to try Vermont's signature: a maple creamee. Keep in mind they give you huge servings of this delicious soft serve. My partner and I shared a medium and could barely finish it. It tasted like delicious buttery maple syrup pancakes. I did see a small girl sitting with plate in front of her that had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream piled so high, that it was almost as tall as her. Her eyes were huge and she was trying to figure out where to start. That waffle looked pretty good and as I passed the table, her dad was leaning in to "help out and keep the plate clean".
