Only IHOP does that and it's way too much butter. If you are eating all of that butter, you might need an extra dose of lipitor. Toast = kind of boring S&S pancakes = kind of tasted like pancakes with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Home fries = those were good I was there with two 16-year olds who both thought the food was "mid". I did see a small girl sitting with plate in front of her that had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream piled so high, that it was almost as tall as her. Her eyes were huge and she was trying to figure out where to start. That waffle looked pretty good and as I passed the table, her dad was leaning in to "help out and keep the plate clean". They sell a lot of baseball hats and t-shirts.

The bed was comfortable, and the fan and air conditioning were easy to control so we could sleep comfortably. The shower works very well with good pressure and heat. There is a small TV if you feel like watching anything, but definitely enjoy the area instead! The Vermont Inn has a bar inside that closes at 9pm. We didn't try it, but it looked so nice and cozy. If you purchase directly through the website, then breakfast is included each morning. Every day they offer pancakes, french toast, or eggs and bacon, and then there is a daily special omelette. We tried omelettes, french toast, and pancakes, and all were quite good. And the coffee is surprisingly tasty. It appears to be a family operation with the kids taking orders. There are many cozy public rooms to sit, play board games, read or just talk. The hosts Mike and Kayla were very friendly and accomodating. The location is perfect as it is minutes away from Killington and Pico mountains. The views from the lawn of the mountains are stunning. Rooms were excellent and there was plenty of space. There is a Sauna and pool outside during the summer months. We met a couple that were staying there and planning their wedding with the hosts and it sounded like it was going to be fantastic. They also host bridal showers and other events. The breakfasts were fantastic and our waiters Emerson and Jameson provided excellent service. Thanks to Mike, Kayla and family for great memories. I would highly recommend The Vermont Inn and we will definitely be back.

I tried my brothers steak and we both agreed it was the most unique tasting steak we'd ever had in a bad way. My mom ordered a dish that came with rice and it seemed as if it was a type of quick/instant rice and her meal wasn't enjoyable. She said the quality went downhill from previous years. I ordered the duck, and I could hardly cut it, it wasn't tender, it was extremely chewy and the flavor was almost tasteless and what I could taste wasn't good. The sides were better than the duck sadly. My little brothers got burgers and fries and I will say the fries easily best the rest of the food with their salt and skins still on. The prices are steep and are comparable to other "fancy" middle tier restaurants, another side note all of our dishes for 6 people came out within 10 minutes which says something.
