The sugar house coffee was a standout. Rich, smooth, and exactly what you want on a cold Vermont morning. We also tried the handmade biscuit, warmed and buttered, and it genuinely felt like a hug in biscuit form. Shoutout to Ethan for being incredibly helpful and thoughtful with recommendations. With his guidance, we built a fantastic sandwich with sourdough, hash browns, avocado, green sauce, and chili crunch. He understood the assignment. Messy, hearty, and delicious. The vegan wrap was also flavorful and satisfying. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. He ordered a large iced coffee with cream. Their iced coffee comes with coffee ice cubes so your coffee is never watered down. I ordered a small iced Vermont Maple Cremee Latte, which was awesome! When we have more time we will be back. We were quickly acknowledged and answered any questions we had. We ordered 2 drinks teas both were delicious, can't remember them right now. As our drinks were being created I was checking out their huge selection of bag teas, I had Lapsang Souchong tea on my shopping list for making seitan, I was shocked to find it in our lil small town and so happy! The Gentleman that waited on us knew all about its smokey flavor! I'm impressed! Looking forward to using it this week! The shop is nicely set up and has room for expansion. I did see a small girl sitting with plate in front of her that had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream piled so high, that it was almost as tall as her.
