We have also worked with other staff who have provided great services such as bringing, setting up equipment and, when needed, removing equipment, providing late night assistance and guidance. We couldn't be more satisfied. We love Felicia. She is very attentive, timely, encouraging, organized and knowledgeable. She has gotten us through rashes, pneumonia and other ailments. Chaplain Felix is fairly new to us. But, we look forward to his visits because he is lively and fun, while at the same time, spiritual. Steve taught me a lot of meditation techniques that have been a great help to me. Ramon brightens mom's day and has guided me through the much needed respite process. I feel blessed to be a part of this organization. Thank you for all you have done for my mom and me!

The CNA was hired to visit 2x a week prior to the time the daily caregiver arrives. The CNA was late or didn't show up at least 60% of the time. When she did, her excuses were ridiculous. When brought to her attention, her response was belligerent and argumentative. She was completely taking advantage of an elderly woman who cannot advocate for herself. All the while claiming to have been here, being paid to have done her job. After being told her services were no longer needed, she showed up with the RN assigned to the case as if she hadn't been told to no longer come. They both told false stories to try to cover for her. It was a very unpleasant experience for the patient and her caregivers. To blatantly ignore your termination and to lie as if your patient and her caregivers have some sort of mental deficit is unacceptable. When you have to hire hospice, I believe you think you'll be getting a compassionate person with morals, not a scammer trying to get paid for not doing a job. Trying to speak with anyone from the company is a nightmare also. They were contacted numerous times to address our concerns and never followed up on anything, from things as simple as proof of insurance to complaints about lack of care. The whole process of trying to speak to someone in charge is a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend this agency if you're expecting compassionate, reliable care.

We were assigned Emily as our case manager and she was great to work with. However, we interacted the most with Grace who was on-call at the time we engaged them and helped my Dad a good bit during his last couple of days. Grace was super patient with us when we asked lots of questions about his care and hospice in general. LifeChoice also provided a rabbi for us and I think my father really appreciated that the rabbi visited with him for over an hour. I think they provided my father a lot of peace and comfort during his final days. My only regret was not engaging them sooner. Their whole demeanor and attitude is that of angels, compassion, empathy, love..When he was in the hospital, he was not receiving the proper pain management, they kept delaying the hospitals hospice program while my dad was dying in pain. I was desperate to get him home. Alena, the administrator, moved mountains to make that happen. They got my dad home in less than 18 hours, they were by my father's bedside within two hours of me calling desperate for help, which felt like a miracle during such a difficult time. Daniel, the nurse who came to the hospital, was so attentive and caring such a such a genuine person. And once we were home, nurse Julie and nurse Grace took over and truly went above and beyond. They made sure the bed oxygen tanks supplies and meds was delivered before my dad even got home.They made sure my dad was comfortable, out of pain, and surrounded by dignity and respect--something he was not receiving in the hospital. there was also a Sweet CNA that came to help as well, Because of them, my dad was able to pass peacefully at home, just as he deserved. That means everything to me my father and our family. All of my father's friends and loyal family were able to come visit with him before he passed the next morning.. I highly recommend this hospice agency to anyone going through end-of-life care for a loved one--or even for themselves. Don't wait until the last minute. Just after midnight that same day, multiple pieces of equipment were delivered to our home and we were trained to use them by the delivery fellow. Unfortunately, she also came over the next morning at 5am after our dad passed. She then interfaced with the funeral home and relieved us of that. We shared feedback regarding the weekend doctors communication being highly misleading/confusing for our family, due to coming in so early, saying so little, and focusing on what he thought we wanted to hear instead of what we needed to know (what's best for the patient). The other challenge we faced was related to the Home care side of the business systems not talking to the in-facility side of the business, so we had to repeat information such as funeral home. The worst fall-through with that was receiving a call from the home team to schedule equipment pickup while we were still in hospice, before a death....

Avoid Oasis Hospice at All Costs…read more As POA for my 81-year-old mother with dementia, I trusted Oasis to provide compassionate hospice care. That trust was completely misplaced. Despite promises, no care plan was ever created. I never met the doctor, CNA, or lead nurse, and repeated requests for communication were ignored. My mother developed a UTI that went undiagnosed for weeks until I demanded testing -- after which she improved drastically. Staff blamed her behavior on dementia instead of doing their job. Worse, Oasis kept her heavily sedated without my knowledge or consent. One nurse falsely accused her of swinging -- then retracted it when I challenged her. Only one nurse, Ms. Latrice, showed professionalism and followed up. The rest? All talk, no care. This isn't a place of compassion -- it's a cold, careless business. I wouldn't recommend them under any circumstance.
