Receptionists are not very welcoming, and most of the time can't schedule or reschedule appointments- you have to wait a day or two for your care team to facilitate this. In the final two weeks of a pregnancy it took more than a week to hear back from my OB. The C section process was described by two OBs that they would do skin to skin right away and could show me the baby being pulled out - but none of this happened. The baby was brought to me more than 5 minutes after, fully covered and we could not do skin to skin for at least 30 minutes after, when we were moved to another room (there were no complications). My father visited the Providence Everett ER on 2/19/26 and 2/20/26. Both visits left A LOT to be…read moredesired. During the 2/19/26 visit, no one even bothered to enter the visit into MyChart. I had no idea what was going on. Your Emergency Room goes out of its way NOT to talk to patient families. I am my father's Power of Attorney because of his severe dementia. On 2/19/26, I called three times to speak to a member of my dad's care team. I FINALLY got to speak to someone and found out Dad had already been discharged back to memory care. Why isn't your Emergency Department involving the POA in the patient's care? On 2/20/26 my father returned to the ER because his wound was bleeding way too much, he was not himself, strong personality changes, pain in ribs and profound facial swelling. I called the Emergency Department and on the third try finally spoke to someone who said they would add a note to Dad's chart to call me. No one ever called and I did see the note to call me in MyChart. As I mentioned, I am Dad's Power of Attorney and his dementia prevents him from being able to articulate what is wrong. I live in North Carolina. If I could be at his bedside, I would be. Another two hours passed and nothing. After my 7th call, I finally speak to a guy at the nursing desk who tells me my Dad's nurse "has her hands really full right now" and could he take my number. I gave him my name and number and told him that as Dad's Power of Attorney I needed to speak to his care team to explain why he was brought back and what we hoped would come of the visit. I told the guy helping the nurse that Dad had such a personality change in 12 hours and an oozing head wound that it was worth further investigation. The nurse at my Dad's memory care facility believed he had a concussion. Dad's aide believed he had a concussion. After I spoke with them about changes in Dad's behavior, as I too was thinking he could have a concussion. Not one nurse or doctor ever took the time to call me to discuss my father or why we wanted him looked at again. I checked MyChart and not a single test was run on my father on 2/20/26, the reason staff wrote that Dad was brought to the ER was incorrect. Basically, my father sat there, no testing was done, and he was returned to memory care without a single person at Providence contacting me about my father TWO DAYS IN A ROW!!! It seems illegal that the Power of Attorney is not contacted when care is administered to a person that has no idea why he is there. On a personal level, I am also my father's daughter. Is it the policy of Providence to keep family out of the loop when caring for patients? My father's memory care facility called me to tell me my dad was released and was being transported back to his room at memory care. SO, obviously the phones at Providence DO work if they can call the memory care facility but not the daughter/POA. I can't articulate how angry I am that I was excluded from my father's care. Memory care informed me that the ER removed the staples in Dad's head (he fell on 2/13/26) that the ER told him on 2/19/26 weren't ready to be removed yet. Information about the readiness for Dad's staples to be removed was in the After Visit Summary from 2/19/26. This tells me your nurses and physicians do not read chart notes. To conclude, my father was brought back on 2/20/26 for concerns he might have a concussion, but staff wrote down that the visit was about a bandage and removed staples that were not ready to come out and never spoke to me. Your facility told more to Dad's memory care facility than I ever heard. Staff never contacted me during either visit. I intend to escalate this complaint.

He also has an accent which made it difficult to understand at times. At the end of my appointment he left to go enter the chart notes on the computer system. After waiting 10 minutes for him to return, I went to the front desk. I asked if I could leave and I was asked if I had my cheek swabbed for MRSA. I sad no and was asked to return to my room and someone would be there shortly. My doctor had said nothing about that. I found myself waiting once again. Soon the nurse that sent me back to the exam room came and told me I could leave and she would phone the next day to schedule the next two tests. The next day I waited and waited I finally phoned them at 4:00 pm. The person who answered the phone looked up my chart and could not find anything about the two tests and asked if she could call me the next day. I told her I knew the names of the test and I really wanted to schedule then today. About that time she found the names of the additional tests and then told me the scheduler was not there today and they would have to call me the next day. I look forward to the call should they call. How can anyone trust a doctor with such a poorly ran office to do any type of surgery on you? I know I won't! Another day and still no phone call. They finally called me back. I scheduled the two tests, but will be having another surgeon do the surgery.

I am so grateful to have found Western Washington GI, and specifically, Dr. Schreiber…read more Having a strong family history of colon cancer, I've known for a few years that I really need to get a colonoscopy. After contracting COVID in February, I developed an ulcer, and subsequently also needed an endoscopy. My brother, who is just two years older than me, had an alarming colonoscopy this year, and that was the final catalyst to get things done. Make no mistake about it. I was absolutely TERRIFIED. And, as an ER RN myself, I felt like I "knew too much". My primary doc recommended Western Wa Gastroenterology. When I called to make an appointment, I was given the option of seeing the PA quickly (who I'm sure is abundantly competent, but doesn't do procedures) or wait to see the doc who would actually be doing my procedure. As I preferred a female doctor for this particular kind of thing, I researched reviews and asked for recommendations online, and those two things led me to Dr. Schreiber. I chose to wait to have an appointment with her so I wouldn't meet her on the same day that she'd be putting a scope where the sun doesn't shine. I first met with her in the end of May, and I could tell immediately that she was worth the wait. She asked questions that made it clear that she had read my intake form, and wanted to understand why I was there and help me. She was so kind and patient, and when I told her that I had some anxiety revolving around the procedures, she was understanding and reassuring. Fast forward to my procedure day, I showed up at the endoscopy center earlier this week. I checked in at 8am, and from the kind woman who checked me in, to my nurse, Theresa, to Dr. Schreiber, to the nurse anesthetist, Nate, to my recovery nurse, Amy, everyone was SO friendly, so respectful, caring, professional, and gave me the utmost confidence and reassurance that everything would be ok. I was out of there before 11am. IF you have any concerns about the sedation portion, you need to know that some places use a combination of Fentanyl and Versed, and some use Propofol. When you hear about people waking up mid-procedure, they likely got the first one. I communicated my concerns to Nate, and I received Propofol which is standard for this practice, and I remember absolutely NOTHING of the actual procedure. I woke up feeling fine - although I guess professed my true love to Nate - and he apparently was a good sport about it - and I was discharged rather quickly and was on my way home. Please note that you must have a driver in attendance and they must wait there for the duration of the procedure. Kids can come. They can be in the waiting area or the coffee shop, but they must stay in the building, which is understandable. I was a little tired that same day, and maybe even a little bit the next day from the prep and not eating, but after that, I felt like a million bucks. Never had any pain, left feeling like I had a plan, was given a detailed report and photos about the findings, and a follow up call yesterday to see how I was doing. If there's anything to take away from this, it's that you don't need to be scared. I was absolutely terrified until the minute it happened, but it ended up being a breeze. Get your tailpipe checked. Especially if you are over 40. If you wait until you have symptoms, it may be too late. Don't be a chicken like I was. It really gives you peace of mind just knowing that everything is a-ok. I highly recommend WWGI, and I most definitely recommend Dr. Schreiber.

All have left or quit. I needed a refill on my prescription because I was a day away from being out. And the bulls**** I dealt with was insane. I called nearly daily only to be told the doctor was busy but will get to it asap. That didn't happen. It took nearly two and a half weeks just to get my birth control refilled by a doctor. I seriously think this place has got to get it together. It's really sad when a doctor can't do their job for that long of a period of time. I do not recommend going here if you care about getting anything refilled ever.
