I have been going here for six years and I hope I never have to go anywhere else. I have very complex health needs and I always know I will be treated kindly and with respect by everybody here -- doctors, nurses, staff, lab technicians, everybody. The integration with my specialists is terrific. I feel like my entire care team here and at the rest of UW are connected and can help in treating me holistically, not just looking at numbers and stats.

I came in for my wellness check and…read moreto establish care and it was very basic which is fine, they do only what is the on the list for your age and gender but the reason for the rating is a couple of things. Do NOT ever let them record you for their notes because those notes and imformation can be seen by the billing department so not sure how they can violate Hepa but everyone does. Also, if the doctor asks you a question or notices something they just randomly mark it down as a diagnosis and then they bill you more as complex. For example, if you have acne but you came in for another reason and the doctor asks if you have acne and you say - I don't want to be treated for it - literally you say that, they can then write down a diagnosis of acne in your chart and charge you more for the visit. I don't think if the doctor notices something like that which you don't want to be treated for that they have the right to diagnose you without telling you. Make sure if you get asked to tell them that you don't want a "diagnosis". I feel like they are looking for diagnoses to make you complex case. I do not take any medications and have no chronic conditions but somehow UW Med says I am "complex" but no other doctor's practice has ever said that. Be very aware of what you say and what they write down is my recommendation.

It was while ago, but I walked into this clinic defeated to get help for a debilitating and deadly…read moredisease that is unfortunately extremely resistant to treatment and the medical community is sadly ill equipped to both diagnose and treat. My expectations were low based on past experience and hearing story after story after story of poor treatment from medical professionals regarding this disease, but I was desperate and getting so sick. I saw a Bridget Noorishad who was a god send in my life at that moment. Due to lack of funding for date, most doctors are misinformed and cling to false beliefs about the disease to misdiagnose patients. It's a problem that leads to death unfortunately. Bridget wasn't familiar with this issue (most aren't) and held some common misbeliefs as do almost all medial professionals with the exception of ER doctors for some reason they seem to know it more. But what was amazing about Bridget is that she listened to what I had to say and I could tell she genuinely cared (such a relief and so refreshing given my expectations and experience dealing with this). She was skeptical at first as she should be, but she did the right thing and I don't think she knows how grateful I was! She said okay can you give me a minute and she left the room for awhile to go investigate and get to the truth. She humbled herself and did what all doctors should do in this situation. After all, they can't know everything. She took the time and care to figure it out and returned with honestly the best possible treatment plan she could have. After being misdiagnosed for well over a year thanks to false outdated info and doctors who cling to it, this was EXACTLY what I needed in that moment. I couldn't be happier with the care I received here and while treatment was less than effecthve that was not her fault. It was the right treatment just too late and I went too long with insufficient treatment. It's complicated but I just want to say I 100% recommend this walk in. The care FAR exceeded all others I've visited in the area. Thank you for taking me seriously....all too often that's not the case with this issue and you have NO IDEA just how much I needed that! Edit Added:...Oh and I should add that she was even willing to go above and beyond and offered to stay late so my boyfriend could stop by on his way home and talk to her. She isn't a family therapist (or at least not to my knowledge) and definitely did not have to do that, but thank god there are actually good people on the world who understand the importance of their profession and take it so seriously! They offer all the basics of primary care, and stay open late and on weekends to handle walk-ins. They really commit themselves to making sure people get care. It's a small, older building that looks more like a 60s tract house than a medical facility, but don't judge it by the exterior. It's a purpose-built dentist/dr office with plenty of space inside. Comfortable waiting room, business-like and professional desk staff. The exam rooms aren't the newest you've ever seen, but they're very clean with good lighting and a comfortable setting. We've juggled a few chronic medical issues lately, and they've always been helpful and personable with advice, prescriptions, and encouragement. They can help you out if you're waiting for insurance coverage to start at a new job, and so on. They really want to make sure you get seen and get any help you might be needing. We're sorry to see Val go, but Andrea has been amazing for a long time and we're happy to keep seeing her. I live across the lake, and drove by this place dozens of times before I needed to switch doctors a couple years ago. Best choice I've made for health care in years.

My other experience here is with their walk in clinic, they couldn't help the family member I brought here, but the bill was $1000.

I have heard from others (including other medical professionals) and patients who have had total…read moreknee replacements, so I have a good perspective for rating Dr. Aric Christal (Proliance, Edmonds Orthopedic Center). His surgical skills are outstanding and without question was the most recommended. I had no difficulty at all post op. My surgery was done at Proliance Surgical Center and their staff are the best (not surprised) and Dr. Christal's support staff at the Proliance Orthopedic Center in Edmonds were responsive, friendly and very efficient (again, not surprised). Another very important issue is the thoroughness with which Dr. Christal prepares his patients for surgery. He builds into the process the conscientious attention to detail and in particular his instructions regarding limiting the chance of infection by starting "decolonization" five days before surgery and setting PT goals early were appreciated. His pain management is stellar and I recovered with lightening speed. [My physical therapy was handled by Evergreen Home Health, so see also their yelp review.] I would recommend Dr. Christal to anyone seeking knee surgery. A sudden mobility issue happened back on 2/17/26. Working with my primary care facility and…read morephysician at Pacific Medical Center - Shoreline, I was referred to, had Xrays completed and evaluated at Swedish Edmonds Urgent Care that evening. The PA-C seen referred me to Edmonds Orthopedic Center (affiliated with Proliance Surgeons), located also at the Swedish Edmonds medical campus. My initial evaluation was with Michael Lee, MD on 2/23/26 where it was determined a MRI was needed to make a definitive diagnosis. This was completed at an affiliate site, North Puget Sound MRI in Mountlake Terrace on 3/6/26. My MRI results and next steps were addressed again with another appointment with Dr. Lee on 3/12/26. The MRI brought to light my current situation and potential future issues to be made aware of. I also received a cortisone steroid shot to help reduce discomfort and inflammation at this visit. My recovery is still ongoing, just thankful no physical therapy and/or surgical intervention are needed at this time. Yes, one has to deal with the wait (blame the insurance and medical care system in the US). Overall, I have been pleased with the professional care provided without the hassles of having to see similar organizations in downtown Seattle. It is much more accessible as a Shoreline resident to be seen at northend sites in Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace. My interactions via phone, online, and onsite have been favorable. Pro tips: Understand that time is needed to have referrals reviewed and approved by one's insurance coverage, especially if there were any policy changes. This does affect scheduling and copays. Exercise your patience, do your due diligence to follow up, ask questions and for clarity to advocate for the best outcome for your care. Give yourself extra time to locate parking, whether on the adjacent street, main parking lot, or parking garage whether you are dropped off or driving yourself. It does get congested and not fun with limited mobility and inclement weather. The common areas like lobby, elevators, and waiting areas are busy so be proactive to wear a mask and/or use hand sanitizer. Complete any online check-in requests prior to your actual onsite appointment. This will streamline your check-in process. Copays can be paid ahead or at the check-in counter. Good luck and hope you have as good an outcome like what I experienced!

I was a bit wary about being scheduled an ultrasound here with the wide spectrum of Yelp posts,…read moreboth good and very bad. However, speaking from my personal experience, this went well. From the phone scheduling after my physician's referral (9/19/24), to check-in at reception and pleasant waiting room with classical music (9/26/24). The ultrasound tech who showed me the dressing rooms, the secure lockers to stow clothing & valuables, and who performed the ultrasound was very nice, professional and thorough. Added plusses were warmed exam smock, clean washcloths/linen, and ultrasound gel. I was expecting discomfort, but she was able to get the images needed without pain. She had them reviewed by another physician onsite. This resulted in additional images, further examination, and then at the end was provided feedback about the results. The final report will be sent to my physician. She also provided me with a personal referral to another specialist who could help alleviate my current situation. Pro tips: *schedule as early in the morning as possible to give time with the commute and have parking availability. *do not use any lotion, powder, deodorant, or excessive fragrance prior to the scheduled exam. *both me and the ultrasound tech both wore masks, especially with cold, flu, Covid season. I will have to get an additional MRI despite today's ultrasound and speaking from my own specific outcome. Now armed with two doctor referrals, maybe my insurance (that I pay out of pocket for) will actual listen to both medical professionals versus flat out denying the diagnostic requests. Always be your own strong advocate! Medical exams and tests are important. As a Yelp Elite reviewer and two time cancer warrior, take this seriously.

Give yourself a few extra minutes in case you need to park in the garage and walk a little bit (it's not far). It doesn't take a year to get an appointment; they were able to schedule me about 5 weeks out, which is very good these days. Overall, I'm very happy with this facility. They are very thorough and explain things well.
