This is perhaps the worst care provider you can choose!!!! I care for a 95 year old who has needed ENT care since last year we have had 2 provider canceled appointments and they wanted to reschedule till September. It was easy checking in as a new patient in their urgent care section. Signed a few papers and they made you wait. I don't mind the wait as it is first come first served. What surprises me is that they won't tell you if they are in or out of network. They will ask for your insurance card and get you registered. But I did my research and they are in-network with my insurance. They will also not give you estimates of the out of pocket payment which I became suspicious of. It is always better to have an upfront value of your out of pocket cost so there are no surprises and you are aware of how you can afford it during payment time. In this case, mostly, you got no choice as medical care is so frikking difficult to get and scheduled. You have a primary care physician but majority of the time is not available for you several months in advance. So PCP is useless and you have to resort to high cost of urgent care. I was called for my vitals and then they have me wait again to be seen by a doctor. I got seen by the doctor. After a few Q&A and examination he went out of the room. A few minutes, he came back with papers he printed of my prognosis, the treatment plant and info about the prescription. I went out to the front office and asked for the bill. They said I don't need to pay anything now and they'll mail it. This got me worried. Cases like these, you'll always get shock when you receive it. Several days later I was not mistaken! The bill amounted to $580! I read the details in the bill and it says some sort of Office 45 mins. I immediately sent a message through the app and questioned the bill stating that the doctor did not spend 45 mins with me in the exam room. That was my waiting time. The doctor probably spent no more than 10 mins with me in the exam room. I said they can review the cameras if they want to. So the 45 minutes is very erroneous. I got a reply and said they'll do a coding review. A couple of weeks after, I received a new bill and it went down to $389 less my insurance coverage. The detail now said Office 30 mins which looks like their minimum. I don't think it's an error on their part. It just so happened that I reviewed the bill and questioned it, otherwise they'll get away with it. Another disappointment is that they don't even care to schedule or even make a call to follow up. How the heck would they know that their treatment works or not. Aren't they concern if they made the wrong or right suggestion of medical care? I guess not! On my part it did not work. I did not call back because for sure they'll put me on a schedule to visit and will be charged again! I just made another appointment with a different provider I'll pay anyway and I would have a second opinion. We should demand that every treatment must have a follow up to determine the success of the treatment at no cost to the patient. Sadly we are just profit numbers. We put our trust to these institutions to take care of our health and in return we are given mostly but hope that we will get better. At least in the banking sector we trust them with our money and in return we get interest, though measly. So review your bill for "mistakes". Demand to be seen or heard for follow up to determine the result of the treatment. I believe it is but right to demand this to give patient the closure if treatment is successful or continuity if the treatment failed, at no cost to the patient. I don't think I would entrust Facey Medical Group with my health. I only have one precious life. So do you! read more

Visited this location for pre-op labs this morning. Right out of the elevator, I was greeted by the lab front desk person who happened to step out of office for a moment. "Please sign in, name of your Provider and place the paper face down by the printer." I did just that. 5 minutes later my name was called. No need for a requisition, just a quick verification of Name and DOB. The phlebotomist, I apologize for forgetting your name, was top notch. An absolute professional. Hit the vein, no fishing. All in all, it took me longer to walk from my car to the Lab than it did waiting and getting my labs drawn. 5 stars, easy! read more

Outstanding ENT Care with Excellent Communication Dr. Elizabeth Ference was truly exceptional. While she was practicing at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, she performed a nasal radiofrequency ablation (RFA) that completely resolved my postnasal drip--something that had been a persistent and frustrating issue for me. The procedure was smooth, and the results exceeded my expectations. Beyond her clinical expertise, I really appreciated the way Dr. Ference communicated. She was clear, respectful, and collaborative throughout my care. She even complimented me on how well I explained my symptoms and said I'd make a great patient advocate--which meant a lot to me. It's rare to find a specialist who not only listens, but values the patient's voice in their own care. If you've seen negative reviews about the larger group or clinic she's affiliated with, I would strongly encourage you not to let that deter you from seeing Dr. Ference. Made an appointment for my colonoscopy over three months ago and six days before my procedure they ask me to come in for a pre op. That's ridiculous and a waste of my time. I will go back to Kaiser. Saw Dr. Azzam back in March for a routine medical checkup/physical exam. Doctor was pleasant enough, nothing great, wanted to prescribe meds for something I didn't need. Anyway, then received a bill for $580.00. Months later and after communicating with supervisor Bobbie B, the bill remains, despite being on the phone for extended periods of time. The issue was likely an incorrect coding on Facey's part and simply could not be fixed on their end. Apparently, they billed it under some code that my insurance didn't recognize. I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield so I cannot fathom why Facey would be using some ridiculous code that the insurance cannot recognize. They insist that it's my responsibility to pay and then dispute it. I feel as though this is a horrible practice and poor customer service. I will never visit Facey again, nor encourage anyone else to. read more

The urgent care doctors have no clue what they are doing. They order unnecessary exams probably to get some kind of kickback. A UTI doesn't justify a bladder/kidney ultrasound. There's always pain with UTIs! And as a doctor you should be able to know when one is needed or not....not on every patient that walks in. read more

We are living in stressful times so I am writing this brief review while waiting in a tent outside to be tested for Covid-19. I've been coughing for most the week and have been short of breath so I contacted my doctor yesterday and we had a phone consultation today. He wants to test me just to make sure and so here I am. They took my temperature first....no fever and sent me to wait in an isolation tent that has heaters due to it being w bit cold. They have taken care of me since I walked in so five stars for the handling of me. Update - the doctor examined me and said everything seems okay. She pointed out the test has a 30% false-negative reading. So I guess even after I still need to keep an eye on it. On the test they stick a swap deep up your nose (I feel my brain being tickled). Results...in two to three days. So I will update later. 04/19/20 - The test came back negative for COVID-19 so I just wanted to update this review to let all know the results since they came back quickly. read more

I cannot believe the absolute incompetence of the staff here. My son broke his thumb. The staff other than Dr. Chowdhury, who was very caring, do not care about you or your child with a broken thumb. They put a makeshift splint together and used a couple Band-Aids and SCOTCH TAPE (yes I said scotch tape) to hold it together. Then referred me over an hour away to see a pediatric orthopedic surgeon when that same doctor has an office next door. Trying to get that fixed took hours of phone calls and dismissive attitude. Then when it was finally re-approved to the proper location the staff here told me they would fax the authorization over to the surgeon in 72 hours. Again, they don't care about you or your kids. No urgency, no care and incompetent. My son has needed a cast on his thumb for days and they treated it like nothing was wrong. I was one last phone call away from just going to the emergency room for a cast until the customer care center finally answered and faxed the authorization over in 5 minutes (they were great). If they would've done this right the first time, my son would've been treated last Friday now he cant see the surgeon for another week. Avoid this location if possible. read more

Horrible place. If you are looking to make appointment, they are at least 7-9 months out. Even if you are life or death situation. receptionists, especially one at Gastroenterologist was rude and lack of empathy. The doctor and NP I see here are great, so this is in regards to the office only. On my way to the appointment, unexpected midday traffic hit on the freeway, and even though I gave myself an hour to get there, I was set to be 5-10 minutes late. I called twice to update them and they said that was okay, and thanked me for telling them. When I arrived, they refused to let me be seen because "it's lunch time". My appointment was blocked for 20 minutes and I was 9 minutes late. So, I still had 11 minutes to be seen (for a quick issue that could have been resolved in that time). Unacceptable to treat other humans like this when I've waited much longer to be seen by their providers. read more

I never thought I'd say this, but having Facey has made me want Kaiser Permanente back. Getting appointments with my primary doctors takes an average of two months so I've learned to have to go through a nurse practitioner. I don't think it should be this hard to get an appointment. When I do have my appointments, I do feel like my Dr. and my NP give me their full attention, but getting ahold of them after a visit is nearly impossible. I had to get a benign tumor removed from my hand, and it took me around 4 or 5 months before it was removed from the time that I had my first visit. I had written a separate review about specialty, and it was taken down for some reason. I've also had to visit Immediate care a couple of times this year and I found out that they use a lab that's out of network. Every time I need to get tests ran, it costs me a minimum of $100. read more

Should have listened to the other bad reviews! It's SO hard to get an appointment here, and if you show up 10 minutes late to your appointment, they RESCHEDULE YOU for another TWO MONTHS out. How terrible is that!? Doctors are perpetually late but have no problem making patients wait. This office doesn't even send reminders of the appointment time. Getting an appointment with your PCP averages roughly 3 months+. And during that visit my PCP changed the office visit to virtual and Facey billed the same amount for that virtual visit as it it was an office visit. Greedy health care provider and difficult to get physicians time. Hire more physicians and don't allow physician to convert office visits to virtual consultation. My nurse gave me the positive reinsurance for my type of mental stability, for sometimes I get anxious during medical treatments. The staff and the doctors all were very organized. The facility was clean. It was nice that they have X-rays onsite and Covid & flu test results immediately. My teenagers were very sick so they had nebulizers and IVs on-hand. It made the healing part that much faster. Nice that they have town center pharmacy right next store. UPDATE: after getting a biopsy my results were finally posted on MyChart by pathology. I didn't understand what the findings meant as I'm not a medical professional, so I called Dr. Sadra's office and asked his nurse Janet if he could call me to go over the results. A day passes, no call. So I call again and his nurse Janet promises me that Sadra will call. I tell her I'm extremely stressed and I would just like to know if it's benign or not, I ask her if he can at least just make a note on MyChart. Nope. Another day passes, so I call again, this time begging for a review of my results. I ended up having to wait an entire week just for nurse Janet to finally get me on a call with Dr. Sadra and for him to brashly tell me that I have cancer and need chemo, and then to quickly recant what he said because he was looking at the wrong patient's chart!!! Yep, this guy literally told me I had cancer but he wasn't even looking at MY chart. Wow. You can imagine how absolutely terrifying that was for me. His response to scaring the hell out of me? " Don't listen to any of the shit I'm saying, I'm sorry, I'm tired." I wish I could report him to the board. I wish I had seen a different doctor. I live in paranoia now and want to get a second opinion because I don't feel that Dr. Sadra can be trusted. My advice would be to stay far away from this doctor. From the moment we walked in, my son and I were addressed with respect and courtesy.The front and back office staff were friendly, professional and timely. Dr Chowdhury is an exceptional caring and committed physician who' listens carefully and skillfully addresses all health concerns. Got turn away at urgent care due to an influx of people 15 minutes prior to my arrival and 23 minutes before they closed at 830pm despite the fact they told me they stopped seeing patients at 830pm.... Then trying to reach my PCP office has been a nightmare with 20 minute hold times and missed return calls. Not to mention trying to make an urgent appointment for a sudden onset of an illness. They leave NO ROOM for those types of appts in their daily schedule and have nothing available for weeks out... PLEASE DO BETTER IN THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF YOUR PATIENTS FACEY. Be forewarned: Facey rant! I was referred to see a surgeon in orthopedics after having ongoing problems with my shoulder and conservative therapies under the care of Dr. Schwartz ( five stars - she's wonderful!) unfortunately, it took several weeks to get in to see the surgeon (that's no fun when you're in pain). He was fine. Typical surgeon. I had several questions - Most of responses were non-committal. "It might help. It might not." Or "that could have caused it but it might be something else." type answers. Sigh. Surgeons can be so supercilious! Anyway, the surgeon told me his office would call me with a date for surgery. Two weeks went by (and I'm still in pain) so I called the scheduler who was unavailable, but the receptionist told me she'd have the scheduler call me back. (And yes, I get that my insurance may be the delay but call me so I can get into it from my end!) Another week goes by. I get the receptionist who tells me the scheduler is out to lunch aren't they always? I waited until 1:30 to call!) that there is a note that scheduler had called me, and that she'd let scheduler know I had called her back. Well, that would be great except that's a lie. My phone captures call history. Zero calls from Facey. So here I am, waiting again to hear back from the scheduler. And still in pain. Yeah. Sometimes you feel like a number at Facey (with few exceptions) because that's how they treat you. On another note, the good doctors get smart and leave. (I loved Dr. Davidgarzadah. He's gone. I loved Dr. Ardalen and just saw that she's started her own private practice and is gone, too. Not that anyone at Facey told me. I saw her ad. The same thing happen with Dr. D - I found out he was gone when I called to make an appointment, then was told by the physician I saw Dr. B. Gowthamann) that he "spoiled" me. (Funny. I just thought he actually cared about my well being.) I was having severe problems with my back which had been previously treated for an arachnoid cyst on the spine, and she wouldn't even send me to a specialist or send me for PT. (It probably would have negatively impacted her numbers and isn't that all she cared about? Certainly not me or my concerns.) Oh. And don't have a psychological problem and try to get an appointment with anyone in mental health - none of them are taking new patients. Dark humor here, but You may as well just jump. read more

I've been into urgent care 3 separate times this month, urgent care has been wonderful but I was referred to an ENT in their group in this business office and the soonest they could see me was 4 months out. Violating CA's Timely Access to Care, even though I've been in urgent care 3 times in less than 4 weeks and this is the best they could do. Its unacceptable and they won't make a note in my file stating that this delay will not harm my health despite them being the ones denying me care. read more

i don't have much choice because of my insurance so I've had Facey for 10 years now. consistently mismanaged. the latest: I've had to repeatedly call & remind them to renew my medicine, it takes a couple of days because they are always 2-3 days late after my first call. so I already know I have to call 3 times over 2-3 days. they just say"we'll let the doctor know ". last time I didn't get any response for almost a week, kept telling them I was almost out. after the 4th call, they finally told me "oh, your doctor is on vacation "! so I had to go there and talk to the member support person. today I just tried to call them AGAIN to renew prescription, it disconnected. I called back 4xover 30 minutes, now the phone system is "having system problems, please try again later". unbelievable. read more

I work in the healthcare sales space, so my review may be a bit bias due to knowing some of the staff in the front. I used Facey Urgent Care in Valencia as I'm a United Healthcare member with Facey as my assigned medical group. Tivoli for Urgent Care I'll visit them when I have an acute injury or sickness I need to stop in quickly. The wait times usually pretty short and they do a pretty good job at checking everyone in during covid-19. There's also a feature online that you can use to register a spot so you do not have to wait. Usually the registered spot maybe an hour or two out but you are a guaranteed. I reactivated an old military injury with a herniated disc and they helped me get a anti-inflammatory shot and some other topicals to help out with the pain. I appreciated the urgency, compassion and effort in getting me the right treatment plan to relieve some of the symptoms. read more

If I could give them negative I would I didn't even make it into the building because they would not see me because I was running five minutes late. I've never had such a horrible experience at a fancy group and the receptionist was so rude. I understand that I was running late, but how many times when you are a Facey Don't they bring you back later than your appointment but if you run late, it's a big crime you cannot be seen anymore but it's OK for them to take their time to bring me back. And then when I told the receptionist, so if I would've been there at 9:15 and I would've been brought up at 9:15 and she said possibly yes, possibly know but we will never know will we.
