Absolutely 5 stars. Going to a piercing place like Prysm is the perfect way to get your new bling. I have 11 piercings and I got my Daith done by Jacob. He showed me all the sterilization and let me keep the marking pen, very important to have disposable one use pens/markers. While the piercing itself was my most painful, you don't get the bling without the pain. But now three days later, I've totally forgotten it's there! The piercing itself is pretty tucked away, but even having brushed it on accident or bumped it in the shower it hasn't gotten angry. That is a testament to the precise placement, quality jewelry and skill Jacob has. I will absolutely go back in the future!! read more

Went in for a jewelry replacement on my nostril because my last piece of jewelry was causing a bump on my nose. Nate helped me find something that would lessen the irritation and gave me good advice on actually drying out the piercing instead of moisturizing it with saline. (If you know anything about piercing bumps/keloids then you'd know how hard it is to find actual good advice for how to treat them correctly) Not even a day later and my bump has gone down to about 1/4 of its original size. The piercing process is very safe and clean as they assure and show you that everything they use has been sterilized to lessen the chance of infection. This shop is a little more on the expensive side of piercing shops but if you're piercing something other than your ears, this would be the safest place to go in the wdm/clive area so you can avoid any infections or irritations because they are so not worth it. read more

I couldn't get on here fast enough to give this place the review it deserves. I was searching for a piercing place in the West Des Moines area. I came across this place online and said why the heck not, let me check it out! So so glad I did. The customer service is impeccable. They are very personable and treat you like a friend not a stranger. They answered all of my questions with very much knowledge. The sanitation really impressed me!! I've never seen such cleanliness. The waiver asks you questions about your health and they literally show you when the needle is sterilized so you don't have to be afraid if they're being truthful or not. I am from the Cedar Rapids/ Marion area and have lived here for two years. I haven't been to a tattoo parlor/ piercing parlor because I was worried about the quality and to be able to trust someone with my body. I can 100% trust Rob.
