I do admit that I was 10 minutes late for my appointment. I thought it was at 4:30 so I arrived at 4:25 and was told my appointment had been given to someone else as I should have been there at 4:15. Ok. My fault. I was mad at myself. It's been a year and a half since I've been able to pay for a manicure but I had a job interview so I wanted to splurge. If I still wanted to get them done I would have to go with someone else. I don't know the name of the person who did them but she really rushed. I've never had gel nails done that fast. I went in for my first time, had an appointment scheduled with Kelly, whom was not the one they sat me with and they didn't even let me know they were sitting me with someone else, at least out of courtesy, not sure what is the point of scheduling with a specific technician. I was told you have to select "RR or request" as you schedule in order to see the tech you choose, otherwise it is not guaranteed. I believe she was making that up, because I never saw any part of the booking that said "Request" Second they sat me with someone who was not very good communicating, she didn't speak English and I didn't understand most of her hand signals she was giving me. Third, as I was having my pedicure, there was no soap, no massage, straight cutting, trimming and filing and polish, (no hot towel either by the way) I was waiting for the massage and scrubbing part but none of that happened, so I was thinking "well maybe they have some super basic pedicure that doesn't include that and maybe that is what I chose when I scheduled". Once the girl was done she grabbed the flip flops they usually put on the customers, but she grabbed them and kept pushing them under my feet hinting for me to put them on, when normally they do that but whatever I just told her to give them to me I will put them on. By then I was so unhappy with the service. Then I go pay, and they charged me $51 which is more than what it says when you schedule appointment. I scheduled for mani and pedi combo $41 it said on the appointment app so that clearly needs to be updated. I asked which pedicure includes massage and she said the $31 which is the one I was paying for!!! So i told her I didn't get the pedi massage nor feet wash, and she was like "you can go back and she will do it" lol like really?!! She gives me a credit for $20 for next service with Kelly, which makes no sense to me, the credit should have been given for today's service that I did not receive. I will NEVER return to this place. Such horrible service. I truly believe first time customers are not as important as their based clientele they already have. Clearly they are not looking to grow. Also the place is cluttered and very dirty mostly behind the pedicure chairs. This is by far the worst nail salon experience for me. read more

absolute worst experience. just went in to get my nails done and the lady doing my nails completely filed the side of my finger instead of my nail and started laughing and talking to her co workers about it then she went on filing away more of my finger until it split and bled. my nails were also completely uneven and i was just left in the chair for a while because she had to others nails before mine. i will not be returning worst nail experience ever. read more

Not a great experience at all! I went in there to try to fix 2 nails that broke before I had to leave and go out of town. They open at 9 & I got there around 9:20 no one was in there except 2 of the nail techs & neither of them had a customer! One was busy on the phone which I understand but the other is there going back and forth with me about how "the colors won't match" & "they don't have that polish here" & insists she couldn't do it for me before she even waited to hear what it was that I ACTUALLY WANTED! First time trying this place out, didn't see the reviews before hand. But I went last minute an hour and a half before they closed, with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, we got separated and that sucks cause the whole point of going to get your nails done with your girl is so y'all can relax together but whatever. I waited an hour and finally sat down with Donna. She saw the errors I hated with my last acrylic job and fixed/filled me up good as new! I have given this place too many chances... because I live around the corner only. I am not picky but this was just impossible! I hope the owner knows that not once do they open on time and they are gone and closed An hour or two before closing time. I paid attention to how they respond to phone calls- they won't take any appointments after 4pm but they say they close at 7pm. They always say they are booked for the day and they don't take walk in's... not a smart way to do business! lights are off by 5pm every day yet the sign says 7pm closing time. Every day their chairs are empty but they are turning business away consistently! they are lazy and rude to customers all the time. They just want to do the bare minimum and leave early. to get service is like begging them to take you and they treat you as if they are doing you a favor with an attitude! The person that did my nails was friendly, but the constant talking/laughing in Vietnamese is extremely rude. Whatever, more importantly, I could paint my nails better at home. The mother at this family-owned place did my waxing and the 18-year-old daughter did my mani-pedi. Waxing wasn't bad at all... Nails though, pathetic. Seriously- don't waste your money. I have been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for years. Occasionally a pedicure. I went to the mother for my manicure. They looked good and it lasted. Occasionally I had a broken nail and I wasn't charged for the tip. I always tipped well. Now the mother isn't there, the daughter, Donna runs the shop and the salon has gone downhill. Every time I go in there's a new increased price. It's just a fill and basic acrylic nail polish. No gel. No designs. I just had a a fill, tip and pedicure today. I was charged $57 before tip. The mother used to charge me $34 for the same thing. I was charged for the tip and before I had the pedicure I was asked if I wanted a hygienic pedicure. If I didn't have this type I wouldn't have my feet scrubbed with the sea salt and my feet nor calves would be massaged. I opted for the basic. The water was on the cool side. My feet didn't soak in the water. As soon as I put my feet in the water and the whirlpool was turned on, one foot was immediately taken out to start the pedicure. The manicurist used the same pumice stone scrub that had been used for everyone else. She just grabbed it from a caddy next to her. The stainless steel tools were taken out of a sterilization oven but I'm leary if it was in it long enough to do anything. I saw about 5 pedicures done prior to mine. It didn't appear that there were enough in the unit to rotate them in order to have each set sterilized properly before they were used again. I'm a microbiologist at a hospital and I know how crucial it is to sterilize instruments. I watched the foot basin get "cleaned". As I reached for my credit card to pay I was horrified. A few squirts of a tub and tile cleaner and the dirty towel that was used during my pedicure was used to wipe it clean! I'm not going back to the salon anymore. My suggestion is to stay away if you have never been there before. There are many other salons to choose from in PSL. read more
