I can not recommend Cyrus and this company highly enough. At the beginning of the pandemic our Miele washing machine quit working. As an RN this was a major concern. He was able to get the parts and repair the machine. Thereby maintaining the health and safety of my family. Therefore I called him when the dishwasher had a fataL error code this week. He called me back within hours. Over the phone he told me what to do to clear the error code so that we would know if the problem was real. This small check saved the cost of a visit as the error code cleared and dishwasher is perfect. He refused payment for this tremendous service. Our 11 year old GE fridge was starting to exhibit issues that it was failing. Before buying an all new fridge I figured I would use yelp to find an appliance repair service just to see if the potential issue would be less $$$ than just buying a replacement fridge. PSR Appliance Repair was timely in reaching out a scheduling a technician to come out and inspect our fridge for a reasonable service fee. The tech was on time, communicated the issue and was up front about the potential cost and scope of servicing the fridge vs. just buying a new one. Ultimately the tech encouraged us to go the all new route, which I appreciated the honesty on. Overall, even though we did not use PSR to service our fridge, I appreciated their timely response in troubleshooting our issue and providing us the necessary feedback to move forward. The tech came to my home on 7/5 and its now 7/24 still my oven is not fixed!! They do not answer the phone only text and are rude and the so-called manager is the tech who came to my home three times and still not fixed and now waiting on parts!! When he had not even opened up the oven on his first visit and had gotten a part he didn't need and realized the stove had another part not working after the third visit so now we wait on parts again. I called my insurance company to get another company out, but these guys put in the part order already, so I am stuck with them or start over with a new company! Terrible customer service. They refuse to answer phone calls. Will automatically decline your calls and will text you and say we only text people we don't talk on phones. Had my home insurance send these people to my home to fix my fridge. Sent some clown out to my house who only was there for a few seconds and claimed he needed some made up part back in December. It's basically February now and still haven't heard back. I've called and sent texts and no response other than we don't talk on the phone. So I wasted my money. I don't even know where to start with this company. I have been without a dishwasher for over 6 weeks now, and the only thing coming out of this that's positive is that I will be getting a new one. 1. First visit by them, they detected a broken pipe on the outside of the unit. They said they would order parts and get me rescheduled. 2. They called for the reschedule, and I asked Francis if she could ask the technician if he saw any water damage that I need to be aware of. She said she would ask and get back to me. a. I did not get a call back. 3. So when the technician came back to fix the pipe, I asked him about the leak. I even showed him the water damage on the outside of the cabinet for how deep it got. He said that wasn't water damage. I said it sure was, I had to get a wet vac to clean it up. Needless to say he had no idea. Then he couldn't figure out how to get the dishwasher out. So he said he would have to reschedule again, and have his boss come out with him. 4. Did the reschedule for the third visit. The boss shows up, and changes out a part inside of the unit. He says its fixed. I said wait, what about the broken pipe? He said that isn't the part that was ordered so I don't know about that. I said we had water everywhere in the kitchen, and he said I have it fixed. So he ran it, and what do you know... it leaked from a broken pipe. 5. Meanwhile he was under the sink and blew out part of the line, and got some stuff out of the dishwasher that wasn't helping that matter. That I appreciated. 6. He then said, well we can't fix this, you will need a new washer. I'll let you insurance company know. 7. Then a little later than night we had leaking coming from under the sink... where he was at. I messaged him and said it's leaking. So we scheduled him to come back the next day. 8. We had a bowl, and towels underneath absorbing the water that night and the next day. 9. He showed up, was there about 5 minutes and told my mom who was there to meet him there was no leak and left! No leak? 10. I get home from work and water is running down a hose and into a bowl. I don't even think he really looked, he couldn't have. 11. So then I message him again, and say it's still leaking. He then said, I was never under your sink. I worked on the dishwasher. This just wasn't true. I have Nest footage to prove this. 12. I told him that I was not happy about this, and I would fix it myself. Which I did! And yes, it was leaking. I told him we are done here. He then gets back to me and said that he checked the disposal, the hot and cold water (now correct me if I'm wrong... but aren't those under the sink?). I have the text to prove that too. 13. Cyrus Peters was not being honest, and in my opinion very lazy. Do yourself a favor and shop around. I contacted my insurance company and brought them up to speed on this incident and encouraged them to not work with this business. It's honestly super sad, and in a time when trusting people is so important with Covid. Nobody wants strangers in their home, let alone 4 times. read more

Beware of this company & what appear to be their standard business practices. We received a VERY quick response to our request for bid so we went with them over a couple of other companies. We received an email response (pics attached) stating that our appointment had been calendared for our selected date and that we would be getting a call with a time frame prior to the date of service. When I hadn't received a call the night before the service was scheduled, I sent Cyrus a message and asked for a time frame. I was asked to remind him of our number and his message stated that a dispatcher would contact us with a time frame on the day of the service. So we finally received a call from the dispatcher this morning and were told that they had no one available to do the job today and wouldn't have anyone available for over a week. Since our range is currently out of service, this was VERY disappointing, to say the least. When I explained to the dispatcher that we had received confirmation via email, she told me that just because our appointment had been calendared didn't mean that it had been scheduled...but that they had availability in 8 days and would be happy to schedule us for that date. She also claimed that she had left a message on my voice mail which is a false statement. We did receive a dropped call from the same area code while out of town earlier in the week but no message was left. Will avoid any interaction with this company moving forward. read more

Thoroughly pissed off with the way this company does business. I am a reasonable person. An appointment was scheduled for repair. Upfront service call is $100 for the repair. Ok, kind of pricey, maybe that's the price for quality repair. The service technician upon arriving at the house wants an additional $65 upfront to begin repairs cuz he has reinstall the back panel before he can trouble shoot the repair. So essentially $165 before ANY work gets started. This will not include finding and repairing the issues which i can assume will be anywhere from $5-200+?? So i sacrificed $100 for the repair to leave my house. BS. read more

I had to get my old ancient Viking stove/oven fixed. When we moved into the house it came with a commercial oven/stove with 6 burners and a double stove. It's a massive and expensive looking thing. One of the ovens didn't work and the igniter on the range didn't work. Eventually the other oven stopped working so it was time to get the old thing fixed. I called and messaged a couple places, PSR was the best value and most responsive. I was able to make an appointment on their website. I confirmed the appointment the day before. They called me to confirm the brand and make and model of my oven. That was helpful because when the technician came out for the diagnostic, he also had the parts to fix one of the problems. I gave PSR 5 stars because the technician was responsive and kept me updated with his arrival time and when he didn't have a part to fix the ignition, then he followed up and came back within 2 weeks. In total, they came 3 times to fix multiple problems with my stove. A little on the expensive side and they left a scratch on my floor but I'm glad my oven and range is fixed. Thank you. read more

A month ago we put in a request with our housing warranty office to hire someone to fix our broken dishwasher. The Dishwasher had previously worked, and suddenly stopped. At this time, that was the only problem we had. There were no other issues we faced. PSR Appliance contacted us and set up an appointment for the following week. A young man came out to us (Cyrus) and looked at the problem. He said we needed a new motor for the repair, and they would have to special order it as none were available for our model. We agreed and they set upon ordering it. We were contacted the following week and set up an appointment for three weeks later. So far, we had no dishwasher for two weeks. We waited the three weeks. On the day of the appointment no one showed up. At about noon the repairman called and said "oops, we lost your part and have to reorder it. " I was livid. We had waited several weeks for nothing and per what this person said would have to wait three more weeks. We had no choice so we agreed. I did complain to the company. I was not sure how they lost something that they had to special order. The Next day we received an email that another repairman had gone to a funeral and had taken the part with him. The repairman called us and asked if he could come out, as he suddenly had the part. We agreed. He spent half of the day repairing the dishwasher. He had to go purchase a clamp for the housing. He was not rude, but kept apologizing that we had to wait a day. Finally the repairman popped up and said "It's fixed' and again apologized that we had to "Wait a day" I'm confused by the need to change the narrative as we were mad that we would have to wait three more weeks. (Something that then didn't need to happen) If they had said "It will be one more day" I would not have complained. We then tried to use our Dishwasher. It seemed to work so we were happy. I was glad that this was resolved and thought things would be able to get back to normal. My wife tried to use the hot water in the sink (that had previously worked or we would not have been able to wash the dishes) and we were able to not get hot water. We contacted PSR and got no response. We tried to see if maybe it was our fault, so we looked at the adjustments and tried to troubleshoot the issue. After a few more times trying the washer we determined that it was as we thought, not only did the dishwasher not work, but no hot water was coming into the dishwasher and it was not draining. Indeed it was worse than it was before. When we were trying to see if we could get the hot water to turn on ourselves, we discovered a pool of water under the sink. We cleaned it up and put a bucket under it. We could not get the leak to stop. Since PSR came to our home to fix the dishwasher we have 1. No fixed dishwasher 2. More problems with the dishwasher than before 3. No ability to use our kitchen sink to wash dishes 4. A leak under our sink We are actually worse off than we were before PSR attempted to fix our problem. I have contacted PSR several times, they refuse to respond. DON"T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!! Update 3/15/2021 We did ultimately have the owner and another repairman come out and fix the issue. They found an additional issue that was not detected the first time. So, ultimately the issue was resolved, but we didn't have it all finished until more than an month. I want to thank the owner for finishing the job. read more

I'm going to tell you why I'm giving this place five stars. I messaged a few other shops and told them what was wrong with my dryer and they quoted me $75-90 to come out for an estimate. This place messaged me back on their day off and gave me a suggestion on how to fix it. I managed to fix my own dryer without them coming out. Yes, it was an easy fix, but I sure had no clue. I will definitely call them when I need an appliance fixed because now I trust them and know that they have integrity. read more

I don't leave too many reviews, so when I choose to do so it is because I feel that it is important to share the experience (good or bad). I use this as a warning to those who may have the misfortune of having to work with this company. With that said, here we go. I had to use this company because it was the authorized company for my home warranty company. Otherwise, I would never choose to do business with this company. My microwave (built-in unit) stopped heating, so they came out to look at it. $75 call fee, standard, for the diagnosis. The technician said it would be 2-3 days if they had the part in stock. That was on a Thursday. After not hearing anything one way or the other, I called to ask if they had the part. I received a call back saying they did have the part, but it was going to be 3-4 weeks before I could get an appointment because of some BS that they needed two techs available to fix the part. So our appointment was scheduled for yesterday (5/11). We receive a call the Friday before saying there was a post-it note with a message to cancel the appointment. Thankfully a lady called us about it - we did NOT give any such notice. So we come to the day of the appointment (now over a month without a microwave) and only one technician arrives (so what was the deal with needing to schedule us so far out?!?). We come to find out that the original diagnosis wasn't even correct!! So we paid these people $75 to incorrectly diagnose the problem. We were informed by the technician this time that it was actually two other parts we needed that would take an additional two weeks to get. Apparently the first technician that came out was new - awesome to send him out solo with that lack of knowledge. We are not waiting another two weeks after having to wait so long for an appointment at your convenience for something that could have and should have been done in a fraction of the time. So now we have to cash out with the warranty company and get it done ourselves. Cannot believe I wasted money on a company that couldn't even competently do their job. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. Wall oven died 2 days before Thanksgiving. Responded within a few days and diagnosed 2 fuses. Very young tech who did not seem experienced. When returned with 2 techs to pull unit and repair appeared surprised to find another controller board behind unit. Replaced 2 fuses and charged $490. Oven worked for less than 24 hours. When I called was told I would have to replace this other controller board. Cost $525. Not including labor. I had explicitly asked about value of repair/replace before agreeing to any work as oven is only 4-5 years old. No offer to discount or stand behind their work. Our oven has been making this clicking noise for a long time and the light stopped working all together. We had to keep the breaker off until we were ready to use it. We had another repair shop come take a look at it and they had no idea how to fix it. Said we needed a new oven. Well, they were wrong! We had PSR come take a look, a week later he came back with the part and fixed it!!!! Just needed the right part and the right company.
