Our washer stopped working Saturday night and in a panic the first thing I did was look at Yelp. I sent a message and in about 30 mins or so Prateek responded and set up a schedule for Sunday afternoon. He called a few hrs before to ask what the machine was doing so he can prepare a few parts b4 he arrived. He was prompt and in a matter of 15 mins he was able to install the broken parts with OEM original parts and got our washer working again. The sound of a working washer was like music to my ears. Our dryer stopped working so we started looking for a repair service. A lot of places were either too pricey or didn't have any availability. We called Central Valley appliance repair, and a tech was out the same day, was able to repair the same day (thankfully he had the part we needed on hand). We got into a bind with our washer going out on us after a vacation. We called Prateek and he first helped us troubleshoot over the phone. After his suggestions didn't work, he was able to come out to help diagnose the problem and discuss the possible solutions. He was in no way pushy about his service. Turns out the control board was failing so he connected us with an appliance parts store who was able to get us the part within a week (compared to back order from the manufacturer). In about 45 minutes, the sensor was replaced, my washer was recalibrated, and I was able to finish my laundry loads. We have a Samsung washer, which we love and have had for years, but it just wasn't able to run through a rinse and spin cycle without us having a load of soppy wet clothes and an error. Prateek quite literally saved our house from catching on fire. Did you know your dryer needs maintenance every 2 years? We didn't. Our dryer is 5 years old and wasn't drying so we called Central Valley Appliance Repair. They were available the very next day. Prateek took the dryer apart and it was FULL of lint. The electrical wires were also covered in lint. He educated us on how to properly care for it, cleaned it out and it works!
