I had a very mixed experience here. The gentleman that I believe is the owner has been strange every time I go there. Not welcoming. You know when you as a customer have to make the store rep feel comfortable not the other way around? That's exhausting. I have bought several items and a reading. The first reading was off. They entered the dates incorrectly. No apologies for the flub. Still strange vibes when I picked up the corrected reading. The older lady in front is nice and if I only dealt with her things would be different. She is genuine. Not the owner. No longer go in because of my combined experiences over six months. read more

A short drive later from Fairfield, and I was delighted with the friendly owners, parrots, dogs, books, crystals, and so much more. I love coming here. I instantly feel relaxed and zen when I enter this realm of crystals, tarot decks, and gems. I was happily surprised that they have four parrots hanging in the back of the shop. My friends and I only visit this store occasionally because of Ginny's unwelcoming attitude but the other day I wanted a psychic reading so I decided to give it another chance What a waste of time. I called first and asked some questions, then I drove to the store assuming it was walk in. The cashier was helping some other people but greeted me. I told her what I was there for and we discovered that we had spoken on the phone earlier. She now tells me it's by appointment only and she will help me when she is done with the other people, which ultimately took around ten minutes. During this time I browse the store. When she's done she starts to ask me about an appointment but Ginny cuts in to say the next she has is the next day at 11:30 and she has her appointment book out. She was on the upper floor the whole time witnessing this but never bothered to offer this to me while the girl was helping the others. She knew of the misunderstanding(because she was on the upper floor watching),knew I was waiting, had the appointment book but kept me waiting. Pretty irritating. Just more of the same, so I left.BTW, the cashier was very sweet and welcoming. read more

I can't say much about the prices here or about the merchandise, because I just never stayed long enough to find out. Last year I came to this store accidentally and thought "Yay! I can finally find something in Vallejo!" That was the last positive thought I had that day. When I asked for help I received cold short answers with a "Why are you bothering me?" vibe. Bought some charcoal that I needed and left. Since then I heard others in my circle of friends tell me that they had similar experiences. Today, I wanted to give them another chance thinking that maybe they weren't aware of the energy sent off. I went in the store and the employees were nice. So I bought. On my way out I thought it only fair to tell the owner of my thoughts and experience, only to be faced with a cool acknowledgement. Really cool spot! Wonderful and knowledgeable owners. I was recommended this place by my reiki teacher. They do aura readings where they take a Polaroid picture of you so you can see your aura instantly! They are great at explaining the colors and what they mean. I have been here twice in the past week. While I find the merchandise rather awesome, I am not very satisfied with the prices. I completely understand that our downtown shops need to afford to stay open. BUT...when you start selling boxes of nag champa incense for $3.99 (you can easily get a box from a liquor store nearby for $1.00), people will catch on to you. I'm hoping this place stays open, and I am also hoping that they have a "Come To Jesus" moment about their price tags. read more

Their stones are waaaaaay overpriced for their quality. Anyone who has any knowledge in crystals and stones will agree with me. The young lady who was helping me was very friendly and attentive, however, the owner acted as if I was invisible. Sorry, but last thing I'd want in my life is to have a reading or healing performed by someone who is rude, lacking any interest, or doesn't have simple manners, let alone lacks any understanding of an importance of basic customer service. This review is for their free aura healing during Vallejo's farmers market. It was absolutely amazing! I was hesitant at first, but something told me to just give it a try. The owner has a few chairs outside and you sit while he guides his hands around your body to cleanse and align your chakras. He also explains it as he goes and it didn't take very long either. The results were incredible, I felt an insane amount of energy for the next couple of days. This may sound a little crazy, but I had a new outlook on life afterwards, and it felt like I was connected to everything around me, and there was a meaning to everything. This was the first time I checked out this shop after reading an article about it in the paper. I just have to say, the overall energy inside the shop is very calm and relaxing, and I was greeted by two workers who were very friendly. They have a huge selection of Tarot and oracle cards, natural gemstones, incense, jewelry and all kinds of books. I am so glad there is a metaphysical shop so close by now, and this is definitely a beautiful place to drop by and check out. Ginny is an Amazing Healer! I've been seeing her consistently for CranioSacral Therapy over the past few months to release the stuck energies I've been holding in various parts of my body.  During this time, I've been feeling more relief each time I've done a session with her, and I'm now well on my way to achieving my original sense of flexibility! I think the reason that Ginny's CranioSacral Therapy is so powerful is that she naturally combines it with some of her Hands on Healing work during the sessions. They have a really nice selection of items, though a bit pricey. The front cashier lady was patient with my cousin and I since we took a while looking at their stones and writing them down. I do think she and the owner might've thought we were stealing since we look young, because the cashier was lingering around us for a little bit -or maybe she really was fixing the display, who knows? the owner was up stairs watching us from their balcony and told the cashier about her concern that I was calculating the total instead of writing them individually on their paper. She was announcing this from upstairs so I (and everyone else in the store) easily heard and so I told her that I was just writing them individually in my notes app. Maybe she thought I woulda skimped them and not include everything in the total? If you are the least bit interested in Tarot this lovely place will intrigue you. I found it about a week ago, it's a bit of a commute for me, but I've been in about 3 times now because it's a fairly remarkable place. Psychic Reality has an amazing selection of hard-to-find Tarot decks. They stock most of the companion books, which I really like to have when I pick up a deck, being a collector. There's something really nice about being able to see and get a tactile feel for the deck before buying (they even have samples). I haven't even purchased one of their crystals yet, I will when I can get through the hundreds of Tarots! They have an amazing selection of crystals and I saw some amazing Madagascar Rose Quartz, natural. Their selection of metaphysical books looks pretty good, they had some pretty hard-to-find books at reasonable prices, I bought one at the same exact price I would have paid on Amazon with shipping. I noticed candles and statues and incense too, that's something I'm only beginning to pay attention to so I'll update when I remember more about that aspect of the store. Now about the previous review. There are as many versions of reality as there are people, I respectfully disagree with the negative opinion. I went to Psychic Reality today, on a Saturday during the Farmer's Market when Michael and Ginny (the owners) happen to offer free healings. And that would have been the 3rd time I've encountered Michael, and I am, due to some past experiences a little nervous of men I don't know well getting in my space. But I've been facing fears lately and decided I'd try a healing with Michael and I am so glad I did! I don't like the word 'psychic' that much, but he is very much a psychic. He instantly picked up on some fairly complex history of mine and did some work around it that I could actually feel. I could see how someone might mistake his quietude and reserved demeanor for something else, but I've had nothing but positive interactions with both him and Ginny, and Stephanie as well. They've bent over backwards to help me and made me very comfortable there. I just didn't want them to lose business over the negative review, I've seen people literally lose their livelihood over a negative word or two written by a disgruntled customer. I had a over the phone psychic reading which was awful. Due to whatever headset Ginny claimed to be using, I was unable to hear pretty much anything she was saying throughout the entire reading. I was referred to Ginny's store/services by my mom who continuously raves and praises all the work Ginny has done on her. The one that really caught my attention and stood out the most to me was her hands on healing. I booked an appointment for my daughter, as she was having a hard time coping with the passing of a family member (grandparent had passed about a year ago when we booked this appointment). Ginny greeted us as we walked into her cute little boutique. My mom (who had previously had a healing) asked to stay with my daughter. The whole session took about 60 min. Once it was done, my daughter had not turned into a new person nor did she forget about the passing of her grandparent. Where I noticed the difference in this whole experience was about a month and a half later (today) I have YET to see her closed down about the situation that prompted me to book with Ginny in the first place. As a strong believer of the power of healing I feel Ginny has a special touch and gift to help remove negative energy and restore a bright sun into her clients. I highly recommend. Bad vibe all around. The owners are in this for the money only. While the male owner is very nice and at least smiles and says hello, the female owner has a very bad attitude. To be a healer, you must have an open and loving heart. Unless you are purchasing sessions with her, the attitude is cold and aloof. The products in the store are outrageously expensive. Small, polished stones are $6.00 each - when elsewhere they are $1 to $2 each, for example. read more

when walking into this store, i knew without a doubt it was the right place. it was full of Light! open and airy, even though they are stocked fully with anything you could want. it still felt opened. it is not the typical metaphysical store (which i have frequented since a young tot), often those seemed dark, cavelike and various levels of magic taking place. this store however doesn't. i had my first aura photo done (great price of $20 w/a 30page printout) and found that to be encouraging and guided me to have a reading w/Michael. Im not a very trusting person w/strangers and so-called "psychics", yet this was calming and i welcomed the chance. Michael knew things about me, I've never shared, stated things that made me feel more at home than ever before, and gave me clarity for my next steps. he was very professional, grounding and protective-took care in every step on the way. After the reading i had another aura photo taken, I was very aware as to the energy MIcheal helped to clear from me. i definitely will be seeing him again and most likely will have Ginny do a hands on healing.
