I brought my mom here to see Dr. Grimes's Physician Assistant due to her knee arthritis acting up…read more This is the first time she's seen him, and really just needed a quick visit to get her knees injected with corticosteroids. The PA, Patrick, was attentive and engaging. He took a thorough history, and did an appropriate physical exam. When it came time to do the knee injections, he gave complete informed consent. This means he discussed what the procedure would involve, the risks of the procedure, side effects of the procedure, alternatives to the procedure, and the risks of no therapy. This is important, as it shows he was interested in what was best for his patient. My mom has a hard time getting up onto an exam table, so he easily injected her knees while she was sitting in the chair. She felt no pain during injection, and over the next few days was like a new woman. They did a really nice job. I was impressed. Overall, we were in and out of there in about 30 minutes total time. Very nice!

It was scared the heck out of me but yet Dr Northrop was honest and told me what the risk was for and possible outcomes. I actually appreciate that. I'm a nurse and of course we are often critical of doctors. It took a visitor to until I was willing to trust. But at that point his bedside manner was good and he was extremely honest with me for the positive and the negative. I needed to hear that and also to know what steps to take to follow his direction to the best outcome I'm so glad I did that because now I see that my x-rays are regaining bone. I had a very complicated surgery Dr Northrop and actually three surgeries in total over the last 8 months. I am very fortunate to not have to have an amputation which was a possible outcome. My bone is regenerating, I'm on the final stage of healing. Dr Northrup would be my next go to if I ever, God forbid, needed help again. I will recommend him to anyone that has an absolute problem. We get surprised in life sometimes and people we don't expect to meet. I'm very glad I did and he was recommended to me. Thank you to Dr Northrup! There is a receptionist that could use some people skills, maybe she was stressed because of a tech glitch with her computer. The great care provided makes up for it. Her office is private practice and the hours are from 7am - 3pm. While she doesn't stay late I don't mind because I love early morning appt. Her staff was very friendly and I mean it. No robotic like or long faces. They weren't in a hurry and really helped with my questions about the paperwork. Dr Feaster is very thorough and hands on Doctor. She explained in detail and ask questions as if she was making sure to find the right treatment for me including some referrals. She connects with you eye to eye and hand to body and did not rush the process in a hurry to get to the next patient. I'm am beyond pleased with her and haven't had a doctor like her in like never.
