Shop says it opens at 10 am we got there on time waited for ten minutes while 6 guys slowly brought bikes out. One couldn't stop to attend to us, they appeared as if though they could care less that they had a customer so we went to a nearby bike shop that understands customer service way better. read more

Service was amazing! Staff is very cooperative, careful and attentive. The owner is really nice. We were offered a map, directions, and they spent time making sure that we were all o.k. Bikes come with locks and helmets. if you want to rent an additional basket you can. We did and it was worth it because we carried towels and all kinds of things to the beaches. Bikes were is very good shape. We were 3. Two of us rented hybrids and I rented a comfort bike... very nice. We had a very good experience at this store. We are from Miami Beach and if we ever return to Ptown we would certainly rent from this place again. read more

Unbelievable service! My disc brakes needed repair (they were squeaking) and they quickly took my bike in and showed me how it happened, how best to make sure the brakes are working, and put air in my tires though I didn't ask them. Excellent service. Extremely knowledgeable staff. read more

This bike shop completely made my trip to Ptown yesterday! I am so grateful. My bike got a flat the night before we were supposed to take the 9am ferry, we brought our bikes anyway and I brought a spare tire, tube, and pump, thinking we'd figure out how to do it ourselves. On the boat, some nice guys tried to help us out (they got the new tire on but the gears, brakes, and somehow even the kickstand were now off-kilter). When we got to P-town I called P-Town Bikes from the ferry, he said come on in and he'd help me out. We walked our bikes over there and he gave me a new tube, refit my tire and also fixed my gears and kickstand FOR FREE!!! He was really efficient and nice. We rode all day between beaches on these awesome bike going up and down the dunes, it was super fun. THANKS! read more

At one time it was the best place to rent, now it's clear it's just about the money. Prices are high and staff is focused on processing the most number of people possible, not really on the customer. So while it is efficient, know you are seen as just $$$. As I was told by the gentleman behind the register "Doing more doesn't matter, there are more people than bikes." Ouch. If you are looking for a group that appreciates your hard earned dollar I'd suggest Arnold's on Commercial (old school p-town business) or GaleForce Bikes on Bradford (they have a lot of other amenities for day biking). read more

we had excellent service and two very good trek hybrid bikes. we returned the bikes 1/2 hour late, but were not charged exra. the owner of ptown bikes is very friendly and considerate. he allowed us to park in his lot after we returned the bikes. we will rent here again. read more

Probably great for rentals. Not for service. Called ahead to ask about their ability to fix my bike. No problem. Came in and they said...oh! Not that problem. Mechanic loike up my parts. Said we'd be fine. Ordered the wrong part. No apology. 5 days wasted. Will never do biz again w these guys. Rec you go elsewhere for real repairs. read more

bikes were good and pretty new...service was just okay...and for me it's overpriced...but this is ptown...

I brought my bike in the other day with a relatively minor derailleur problem, and Jeff fixed it quickly and efficiently. While he was at it, he noticed that two spokes on one of my wheels needed replacing, and that my wheel wasn't mounted on the hub quite right. He fixed all three things quickly, efficiently, and inexpensively. Great experience! read more

made a reservation weeks ago so that i could have a bike to tour around ptown, and less than 12 hours before i leave for my trip they call to tell me that due to a "computer glitch" they don't have a bike. Had they told me sooner i could have tried another bike rental place but now i have to do without. Total fail. Id try another place read more

This business is as good as it gets for customer service! This past weekend Ptown Bikes had found that they had a computer problem and that they didn't have enough bikes for all the rentals for the weekend. We got a call from the owner, Bill, and he apologized and said he wasn't sure he would have bikes for us when we got there, but he was going to do everything possible. He had extra bikes brought in from other bike shops and even planned to use their new bikes as rentals. When we arrived the staff was polite and helpful and we got our bikes. Bill and his staff did a terrific job during a very difficult time. We will definitely use them again!!! read more

Problems with the kickstand of bike....it would not hold the weight of bike. Staff was not very helpful or friendly especially the return staff. I will use another bike rental service next time. read more

Excellent customer service ! Our rental bikes were reserved and ready for us upon arrival. Attendant adjusted our bikes, showed us the gear workings, lights, etc. the bike inventory appeared to be all or mostly new. No issues at all with our bikes all week, and returning them was easy and quick. Bikes can also be returned off-hours. Would definitely rent from them again. read more

My husband and I rented bikes from PTown Bikes for 5 days while we biked from Provincetown to Chatham. We had an awesome experience with PTown Bikes and will definitely use them again. I had rented online ahead of time and had questions to begin with since we had never visited the Cape. The owner, Bill, was responsive and helpful in guiding me in the right direction. Once we arrived Bill and Jeff were on top of it. We were off and ready to go in no time. They assured us if we had problems anywhere between Provincetown and Chatham that they would be available to help. We were staying in 4 different inns over 5 days and they even offered (and we took them up on it) to transfer our luggage from place to place for less than the price we would have had to pay a cab. Once we were in Chatham we needed to get back to Provincetown to catch the ferry to Boston. Bill was at our hotel that morning loading up our bikes and drove us back to PTown. The customer service was just remarkable and did not go unnoticed. read more
