Came here one night to meet up with my sister in law and brother in law and our other friend. The guys played pool while the girls gabbed. Inside is pretty spacious. Definitely smelled like smoke, just because it is a bar, but I was able to sit at the tables away so not to directly breath it in ahah. Our waitress was great and checked on us multiples times. So after 6 years, we decided to comeback here because Hub was craving some wings. We arrived on a Saturday about 4:45pm and there were only a few patrons. We noticed a board talking about happy hour...on a Saturday? Score!!! We grabbed a seat and waited until 5 pm to order. The bartender helped us out with the new menu and the specials. The employees are so very nice here. When we actually took our order a new waitress came in and took care of us. We both got a beer..hub got a domestic and I tried their IPA. Both were 50% off...very cool. I decided to get the mini steak quesadillas, which looked like tacos on arrival...but they were very good. hub got the boneless wings with Hot buffalo sauce that came with fries...these were very good. Had such a great time at HH yesterday at this location! First time here and the service was top notch! We appreciate the hospitality with them! The location is nice, big and clean. Easy parking. For HH, I had wanted a pizza but they don't do half off pizzas anymore for HH. They have a revised HH food menu so we got an individual pizza and boneless wings. Went in to gamble and eat a little something, sat at the bar. I asked the female bartender for change for a twenty, had to ask three times for the change. Got our food, after fifteen-twenty minutes we were ask by female and male bartender how we were doing. Cash out my winning ticket of 82.50, bartender kept the 50 cents, it's not about the cents. Disappointing experience. We usually go to a few different PTs in southwest part of town. We just recently hit a taxable at the Silverado ranch one. Since we live closer to this one me and my wife invited a few of our friends to come gamble and have a few drinks at this location to try our luck again and have a good time with some friends I will say I usually prefer Pts over casinos because usually I tip extremely well and usually most bartenders are extremely cool but man just don't bother skip this place. There's way too many in town to waste your time at this one. It's all about treating people kind and to me that experience is free cost the employees nothing. I own a small business this is key just treat people kind cost you and your employees nothing. It's always a mix because you never know how it's gonna go in these places either it's great because you have amazing bartenders that treat you extremely well or you have bitter ones that don't wanna be bothered with you. Typical PT's Gold which seem to be in almost street corner anymore...the experience was okay, nothing great but not terrible either...stopped in during happy hour and had a couple of hualapai IPA drafts, did not eat so cannot comment on food....the bartender was fine, and as the bar was busy and I wasn't playing a machine I sat at a rail adjacent to the bar...VGK was on just about every tv which was fine as this is the case at most bar/pubs today.... Seemed rather smoky inside so not sure how the ventilation system was working...the ambience is that of a typical PT Gold, nice and modern interior with lots of stone/brick inlays in the wall...giant posters of women around the Mojave desert were also observed throughout...small pool table and several tables and booths in the dining room area which is also open to the bar...typical PT experience, could return if in the area, otherwise would probably pick someplace else.... read more

I really don't understand why they don't get higher review marks on Yelp. The ambiance here is so cool & comfortable. Very clean. Wait Staff extremely accommodating. I asked for a special meal with only specific vege's in my omelette and extra toasted ( fried ) breakfast potatoes.... Have tried this location 2 times. Thought maybe the first time was unusual, but after going back the second time I realized it is normal. The first waitress was pretty nice, but didn't check on us much at all, we told her we wanted to order an app and when the app comes out we will order our meal. Well after the app was gone she finally came back and asked if we were done. The cook brought the food and made a couple comments and about how he wanted to leave but needed to take care of our food. Nice. The next time in there the bartender was the same from the time before, not friendly at all, at least to those of us that weren't regulars. I've been here a few times and the food/ service has always been good. However, I came in on a Sunday to only find out they don't have the NFL ticket and don't run all the games. We ended up going down the road to another spot that was running the games. That's the only reason why I'm giving three stars. Our guide this trip go around was Evette, what a great and attentive individual. Mike and I make quite and entrance together and Evette picked up in that vibe and new friends are made. Shhh, get ya pencils ready; PT Golds is owned by Lakes Entertainment, formerly Golden Gaming. Lakes Entertainment provides many wonderful new experiences for dining, entertainment, and gambling in throughout Nevada. This company owns Sierra Golds too. Around the Fall of 2017 Lakes became the largest tavern and slot operator in Nevada, so the company knows their stuff. They are spending a lot to remodel and reopen the "pub style," experience with excellence here in Nevada. Amen, to the old style Smokey Pubs that while were decent, were not great. This is Vegas, and come on its needs to be the best with sparkles and glittery lights. Light and glam aside this pub here keeps it real, with decent eats, family style employees, and sheer exceptional excellence. The company would not stand for anything below average. After a morning of gym and just life, ya know our appetites needed wetting. Being locals, I don't want to drive far so been meaning to try here for a minute, it happened to be today. We sit at one of the booths way in the far west corner and this booth is big for those larger parties or nice and large for when ya want to get intimately close to that "special," someone. Sparks always flying when we show up, so the waitress before we knew, Evette; and that she was family said she would bring a menu around. Evette has been serving for a minute and has a keen knack for detail; much appreciated in a glitz and glam type town. We ordered iced tea and water, no drinks in the early mornin; today. It's all about breakfast today we had Hamburger and Eggs plate and Typical breakfast platter that consists of bacon, hash browns, toast and eggs; just the basics. As I was ordering those wings were talking to me too; eat me. So, it was breakfast with a side of wings. We were so hungry that ya wonder where breakfast went, that was fast. As Mike was eating the Hamburger and Eggs, our girl Evette seemed nervous and just kept coming around; Mike picked up on her off behavior, he's been around a minute. She noticed that he was not eating his burger; it was due to the fact that it was puck style. No one, especially a man that "needs" steak daily can put up with dry and tough hamburger. Evette corrected this and even took it off the check without any hesitation. We did not even have to ask. That is the level headed employees and family style individuals that call this establishment their "job." Evette sat up with us and explained that her company is amazing; especially her location. She was employed at the Golds on Cheyenne and needed something closer to home; now she's my guide for all things pub when I stop by. With out meal done and our talk with Evette finished it's time to head home. Y'all come back, that should be their motto. Now here's my issues with Golds, but solvable; even Evette agrees. Golds, ya need steak and eggs; or "steak" in some form on the menu. Men need steak. Evette was explaining that this local used to have steak and eggs, but they took it off the menu because it did not sell. So let's help the steak sell, please Golds bring it back. Now Evette was politely reminded us that Sierra's on Eastern, while a four mile drive has some of the best steak around. We will be having this our next visit. This location is so fantastic and here's another reason why. This Golds has been open for a minute. When they closed the T-bird Lounge on Eastern all the employees needed a place to work; where to do ya think they all went. Hmm, how about with the new company location that they are now employed with? The customers that were local to T-birds came too. Mind ya it's a four mile drive for a beer. For the customer to follow , exactly. Located right off the I 15 and Cactus, get some gas for your ride and yourself. Evette was my guide to fun and relaxing services, maybe ya will benefit from her vast skills and knowledge too. Locals this is up in our area, with Raiders coming we need down to earth, locally loved establishments to keep us feeling good about living and getting away from the lights and glam of Vegas. For ya tourists, hopefully, understand Vegas is chaos and working with the public ya need a break from that; trust. This is a genius article. After all that driving ya need a good meal maybe a drink that will not cost ya all your money yet. Been quite a long time since I've been to a PT's. They used to be one of my favorite bars years ago. My friend brought me here for an early birthday dinner and drinks. They do have an amazing happy hour, and it's 7 days a week! We got a few appetizers(pretzel cheese curds, ride Mac n cheese, chicken and waffle bites)and a pizza(BBQ chicken and ranch on thin crust) to share between the three of us. Everything was pretty delicious, but I definitely liked the pizza more than the apps. The bartenders are really friendly. There is even a tv facing in all directions so you will be sure not to miss any sport team you intend to wach. The do have a pool table, but I did find out that they don't have a jukebox(i overheard another patron asking about this). I wasn't too worried about the missing jukebox because the music provided wasn't too bad. It was very reminiscent of the music I listened to in high school. This bar is so close to my home, I can definitely see myself stopping in here from time to time. read more

Bad service and mediocre food. I came here today for the first time with some girlfriends for happy hour. I arrived as the waitress was taking orders and I just ordered a water and soft pretzels After she took our order it took her about 10 minutes to get all our waters to us and she made one of my friends beers wrong which took about another 10 minutes for her to bring the correct beer. Another gentleman brought us our food and our server never stopped back by to see how everything was. We had to constantly ask her for refills on water and sodas because she never checked on our drink levels. The pretzels were good but nothing special. The chicken strips my friends got looked absolutely disgusting and dry and they were not impressed. When we asked the waitress to split the check she acted completely annoyed. I've been to several PTs in town and this one was ok. I liked the quietness tho. I came w/2 girlfriends and we wanted to be able to talk to each other without having to yell . I cannot tell you our servers name, as she didn't really introduce herself.. but, she was nice. Nothing mean to say about her but nothing spectacular either. We ordered cauliflower bites, poutine fries, and chicken tenders. Everything taste as you would imagine. Nothing out of the norm, very basic bar food. No real complaints. What I hate about PT's is it all over the board with customer service and the food. Some PT's are good and the other's are horrible. I have frequented this one on several occasions. I notice that the staff is better during the day with the customer service compared to the evening staff. The food is also hit or miss. I came in one day for a simple breakfast and it was perfect. A week later, it sucked (e.g., toast wasn't done, eggs too runny, hash browns were not extra crispy as requested). I have had a perfect burger here and then the following week it was burned and the fries weren't done. Since they changed the chicken wings, they are smaller and horrible. I wish PT's would be more consistent in customer service and the food. NOTE to Manager: Please read this because I want this place to be better! read more

I'm sorry but this place only gets two stars from me. They need to just be a brewery or something like that because I have never been to a place in all of Las Vegas where the machines play so tight. Stopped into the new PT's because it's close to the house and convenient! Off the bat, the place looks great. Nice new modern interior. Not super Smokey (yet) which is a huge plus for me (non smoker!). Big huge room w/bar in the middle, easy to see what's spots or booths are open and available to sit at. Clean bathrooms! (Changing table for the babies that aren't allowed in ) Every staff person I encountered was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. (Bartender, waiter, and kitchen staff!)
