Came here on a Thursday night - this is only my second time to Remedy's....and after my experience, I would really have to be convinced to go again. It appeared they had 2 waitresses to cover the entire footprint outside of the bar and our small group had waited 15 minutes before I finally decided to get up from the tall table against the wall that we were at and go to the bar to order drinks and asked the bartender if there was a server for the area we were in, she said yes and I asked if she would send them over so we can order food. Another 10 minutes later, someone comes over and takes our food order...and that's after my husband was told by a waitress in the area that we weren't in her section so she couldn't help us....but then later comes over to us after we have our food to check on us and see if we need anything....uhm what?!? All this while the manager is laughing it up with this couple at the bar...while facing us. Made eye contact with him several times and the way he was friendly with these other customers was not the same service he was giving to anyone else. He saw us without drinks, saw us with menus and no one approaching to take our order and still did not move from the behind the bar, but was also seen helping with drinks for everyone seated at the bar....when there were already 2 bartenders there. The food was okay, but I was already so frustrated with the lack of service and the service we did get was severely lacking....I just wanted to finish eating and leave. A friend brought up going back to watch one of the VGK playoff games since it's close to where we live, but I just could not be convinced to go and deal with such poor customer service again. It's a bummer because they have a lot of nice seating surrounding the bar...but the service seems to be focused on people sitting at the bar. Oh well! Plenty of other bars in the area! read more

Stopped by Remedy's with friends to celebrate an early birthday, and it ended up being a great night! The atmosphere was chill, the place was clean and comfortable, and they had all the games on, which made it perfect for a game night hangout. We arrived during happy hour, and their menu had some great deals. I ordered a French 75 (which was delicious), one friend had a glass of Merlot, and another went for a beer. We also ordered a few appetizers, and the standout by far were the buffalo chicken egg rolls are SO good! If you stop in, definitely give those a try. Service was also a highlight. We had two servers during our visit. Our first server was awesome and super attentive and friendly. He let us know he was heading out for the night, so we made sure to close out with him and leave a well-deserved tip. Our second server was equally great and she recommended some fun shots (we went with green tea shots) and had a great energy. We even had a fun little conversation with her that added to the night. I ventured into Remedy's Tavern with one mission. To eat good food and avoid smelling like an ashtray in the process! Thankfully, they have a restaurant section separate from the bar, which was perfect for a non-smoker like me. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding. I was greeted immediately. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there- a rare and beautiful thing. Now, let's talk food. I ordered the Power Bowl with blackened chicken, and wow. If bowls could win awards, this one would be giving an acceptance speech. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, packed with flavor, and the whole dish was fresh, filling, and absolutely delicious. I'd happily order it again tomorrow. I also tried the avocado egg rolls. They were... fine. Not bad, not amazing, kind of like the opening act before the headliner. The dipping sauce that came with them was a little shy in the flavor department as well. Fortunately, I asked for a side of the cilantro ranch that came with my Power Bowl and used that instead. That move definitely upgraded the experience. The egg rolls still weren't bursting with flavor, but the cilantro ranch gave them the personality boost they needed. This is a great neighborhood bar! We came here with some family and it was such a great time. This place is really spacious and open. They have two areas, one is a restaurant and the other side is the bar area which was the better of the two. They have big fun cozy chairs and tables which makes your experience a bit more intimate. They also have a fireplace with big couches, a great space for a larger group. TV's everywhere and they play pretty good music. Service was a little slow, but our server was friendly. It started to get busy around 7pm on a Friday. The food is surprisingly really good. I liked their menu, they have a bunch of awesome options including the mouth watering Mashed Potato Bites, dip them in their chipotle sour cream....chef's kiss*!! Then of course their Fries your way, you get to choose your seasonings, types of fries, toppings, and dipping sauce! It's like potato heaven here!! The pretzel bites were good too, paired well with their house-made beer mustard and cheese sauce. Definitely a good spot for good eats and fun vibes. I love that they have breakfast all day, many app options, burgers, sandwiches, sliders, salads, really something for every craving! The only bummer is they don't have a gluten free bun or bread option. They have happy hour from 2pm-6pm and 2am-6am. Pretty good beer selection and love that they have a big mug size. I ordered the chicken piccata and was happily surprised. The chicken was grilled deliciously, the noodles and piccata sauce very tasty. I enjoyed the compliment of asparagus as well. There was bread included which had a smoky flavor, which I enjoyed, I think that's what you'd call it. I also got the clam chowder. I think it had a spicy bacon? Not sure, it was pretty good. It wasn't my top clam chowder soup. The staff was very pleasant and helping me quickly since I was on a takeout order. I tried calling by phone to place the order but was told they don't take orders by phone I could go online. I went online and couldn't decipher. Solid bar and grill off of St. Rose Pkwy...large bar area as well as a separate dining room that is appropriate for kids...food is always pretty good here as is the service...bar area can get smoky at times but it is large enough to move around and try to avoid it if need be...the nachos with carne asada were spot on, haven't really had anything to eat here that wasn't at least a 3.5 or higher...prices for food are decent, the bar is another story...one pint of ballast point IPA was 8 bucks plus tax! lol...after tip it was a 10 dollar beer...other than that this place is good, tv's about all showing sports or sport related shows...will continue to patronize from time to time...RECOMMEND read more

I have been to this location several times, the food is always on point and the staff is super friendly. One word of warning, it's kind of dark in there so on a sunny day it will take your eyes about 3 minutes to adjust after you walk thru the door. It's nice that they have a split smoking bar area and non-smoking restaurant area. Good place to watch a sporting event, plenty of TVs and a great lounge vibe with a fireplace and couches. This time, I had the BBQ brisket grilled cheese with tots - thick Texas toast and brisket tender enough to cut with a butter knife. Delicious, but I needed a nap after eating it. Remedy's menu had quite a bit to take in, but i promptly opted for the "Smashed Animal burger". Yes folks, this does indeed taste just like a certain famous restaurant chain's animal style, but this one seemed to have better quality ingredients used. The bartender successfully was able to get me to fall victim to a desert option because he made it seem so appealing! Fried Oreos! Yep- reminiscent of the old Mermaids Downtown i just had to. It was heavenly. It's a good place, but just like it's sister property Distill you better drink well items or you'll be paying a lot for drinks! Pretty disappointed in this place. I placed a late night order as they're a 24hr restaurant. The order arrived quickly but was missing more than half of the items ordered and what did arrive wasn't even cooked! I got uncooked pancakes, cold sausage (must've been frozen and poorly microwaved) and uncooked hash browns. This was our first time at Remedy's. It has a very similar feel to Distill, another local bar chain here in town. My boyfriend and I came in on a Saturday at 7:30ish - unfortunately, we had just missed out on happy hour. He doesn't like sitting at the bar, so we found a high top table to sit at. Yes, Remedy's does allow smoking inside their bar (they also have a non-smoking section), but honestly, I really didn't see anyone here smoking. The bar has several TVs all around that are on various sports channels, like baseball and college football. There are also a few pool tables tucked away in the back of the bar. Our waitress was Carrie, who was very accommodating. We started off with some cocktails. I had the Dirty Lemonade and my boyfriend had the Southern Gentleman. I'm now thinking about coming back here just to try the Dirty Lemonade again because it was FANTASTIC. It tasted exactly like pink lemonade, only with alcohol in it, haha. My boyfriend liked his Southern Gentleman, but now he wishes he had what I had. For food, I had the bourbon short rib sandwich and my boyfriend had the grilled cheese cheeseburger, both with fries on the side. The rib sandwich was delicious! My boyfriend's grilled cheese cheeseburger also looked delicious. It's like a normal grilled cheese sandwich, made to look like a cheeseburger. We loved this bar! First of all I have to give a ONE STAR for how smokey this place can get when there are customers in here smoking. It's HORRIBLE!!! So if your not a fan of smokey bars then this is NOT the place for you. Wish they would come up with a better ventilation system in here. 5 STARS for having Truly Wildberry on draft. My favorite!! 3-4 STARS for the staff. I feel like some of the bartenders are a hit or miss in here. Seems the male bartenders are a lot more friendlier & funner then the female ones. One night I was in here till the early AM & this super, cool female bartender came in to take over. I don't remember her name but it wasn't her normal location to work. She was filling in. The food is good too. I had their pretzels that were very tasty, soft & not too salty. The cheese sauce is my favorite then the honey mustard. I also ordered Doordash one time & got the blackened chicken sandwich which was very tasty. Place has always been clean. I've been told the cleaning guy who comes in at night is a hard worker. I was in here in Oct. & they had the bar decorated for Halloween & it was phenomenal!! A guy named Oscar did it. When I was just in here the other night there were people playing pool & the customers kept lifting up the pool tables & dropping them due to the pool balls getting stuck, was kinda annoying.....lol This bar is spacious with some sitting areas so it's good for groups. read more

This place is just like your good old hometown sports bar. They have a huge menu with really amazing options. The parking here is super simple. There's tons of spaces. They have every kind an any kind of beer or liquor that you'd be looking for. The location is clean, and the bathrooms are clean... Which those of you that follow me know that's a very big deal to me! The staff and server were excellent with really thought out suggestions about food and drinks. As an example, I couldn't decide between the cheeseburger and the grilled cheese burger... So the server was able to give me a description of both, and what her opinion was for both to help me make my decision. Not to mention who can really make a decision between tots and fries, right? Overall Remedy's is a pretty standard bar with the usual food and drinks you can expect at any neighborhood pub. This Remedy's is in a more upscale neighborhood and I wish they had a patio or someway to take advantage of their location's view of the city. It's nice that they have online ordering and a kitchen that is open 24/7 (as of this review's posting). The food is pretty solid and the portions are generous, I recommend the chicken fingers, the cure burger and the chipotle chicken. The drinks are adequate but the service is often hit and miss. Some of the other reviewers mention there is a strong cigarette smell from the bar & dining area; while I haven't personally experienced this, it would be an instant deal breaker for me. read more

The food here was ok. Did check out this place awhile ago. It's near my house and very convenient if we want drinks and bar food. The service was ok. I think the workers were still training so things were slow. The restaurant is divided with non smoking section and smoking. You can gamble or eat in a quiet serene side. I'm leaving a 1 star for the first time simply for the wings I ordered last night. I ordered the chicken wings and what I got were 2 full chicken legs and 2 whole, unseparated sections of wings. They honestly appeared to be old, with grill marks and then fried. Almost as though it was meant for something else as grilled chicken and then fried quickly and given to me for wings. When they brought them over I immediately told the guy, these are not wings, those are chicken legs- he chuckled and said " yeah, I feel ya". ZERO!! I ordered via delivery. They did not include several items, but when I call them, they blame the delivery service. The bag was stapled BY THEM. The omission was BY THEM. Why am I required to request a refund by the delivery company? I was told to come to them for restitution. Why am I ordering delivery if I need to go to the restaurant? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?! They refuse to stand by their own product and service. What I did get was next to inedible. The meat was extremely tough.
