In order: Butter Krab Roll, Yellowtail Roll, 2 Hamachi pieces, Wagyu Beef Tartare Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll
Mymy H.

Creative rolls that were overall good. The butter crab roll was disappointing with 0 real crab in it. The yellowtail roll, wagyu tar tar roll, and the hamachi pieces were all great. One of which came with a sauce consisting of a sous vide egg in some truffle oil and soy sauce which was AMAZING.

Loved everything we tried! Our waitress Anahí gave us a bunch of recommendations and they were all amazing. The service was wonderful and food came really fast! The ambiance was chill, music wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear each other but it was a bit empty for a Saturday night.

Looooove Pubbelly Sushi. It is our go to sushi spot lately. Been coming here several times since they opened in June 2023 and can't believe I haven't reviewed them yet. Ha. Where do I begin? I remember seeing the "Coming Soon" signs for the Pubbelly Pembroke Pines location and I was super stoked because there are several other locations but now we have it locally and easily accessible. Yayyyy!!! Other locations include Aventura, Brickell City Centre, Dadeland and Miami Beach. I first heard about Pubbelly when we worked with the Pubbelly Miami Beach location. So I knew they offered quality sushi. Pubbelly is located by The Shops at Pembroke Gardens. Next to Xfinity and Freddo Ice Cream Shop. There's a nice covered patio with outdoor seating at tables and bar area. When you walk inside, it's a total vibe. The decor is modern, clean and super cool. Look up when you walk in and you'll see a beautiful big paper wooden fish that looks basically like a monster size origami fish. It's pretty awesome. There's plenty of seating indoors at tables and booths. There's also a small bar that connects to the outdoor bar with high chair bar seating as well. The best part about Pubbelly are the SPECIAL PROMOS all week long. Happy hour is Mon-Fri @ 4-7 PM. $10 sushi roll Mondays, which just recently changed to $12 sushi roll Mondays and Wednesdays. Still an amazing deal considering these sushi rolls range in pricing from $18-24. Kids eat free with adult purchase on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. SO MANY GOOD DEALS!!! The food & drinks here are amazing quality and consistent. We have had all HH menu items and most are delicious. Pubbelly is known for their Butter Krab Rolls, that warm clarified butter with ponzu sauce combo is bomb!!! I want to dip everything in that sauce. But we know that's totally not healthy. Lol. This is everything we've had at Pubbelly: * Pork Belly Bao Bun * Shiitake Bao Bun * Korean Wings * Salmon Tartare Taquito * Spicy Edamame * Tostones Con Ceviche * Chicken Yakitori * Butter Crab Roll * Bigeye Tuna Roll (Crispy Rice) * Acebichado Lobster Roll * Yellowtail Roll * Two Timing Tuna Roll * Wagyu Beef Tartare Roll * Miso Bread Pudding Absolute must have favorites include the Salmon Tartare Taquito, Bigeye Tuna Roll (Crispy Rice) Tostones Con Ceviche, Yellowtail Roll, Wagyu Beef Tartare Roll, Big Eye Tuna Roll, Butter Krab Roll, Korean Wings, Spicy Edamame and Pork Belly Bao Buns. All legit excellent bites!!! Not a fan of the Chicken Yakitori, the texture is sticky and sweet and just not what I expected. I barely taste the chicken itself. Just not edible in my opinion. At times, the Shiitake Bao Bun can be salty, but it just depends on the day. Everything else we LOOOOOOVE!!! Honestly, literally everything that we've had here has been quite good and the quality is excellent for the special deals they have. The cocktails here are also excellent. La Chula $12 (HH) and Rising Sun $10 (HH) are our favorite drinks. The presentation is awesome and the taste is on point. Come during Happy Hour to get discounted prices on the drinks. Drinks range from $10-13 during HH. Score!!! Service is great and they are attentive with pre-bussing tables. We have become regulars at Pubbelly and Anahi has been our server for the past three visits. Lol. Anahi is wonderful and she is always hustling. Because she is always working! There is also another young lady I see here often and she is very sweet. I will try to catch her name next time. PUBBELLY SUSHI ROCKS!!! Check them out if you haven't already. #YoureWelcome

This is my sushi roll. It was very delicious.

Went to the Pembroke Pines location very nice decor. Very nice place. We sat at the bar in the bartender took very good care of us. He was attempted. We started off with two sushi rolls, and two miso soups. The soups are good like a little bit more tofu. Then we had some sushi rolls that were beautiful as you'll see in the pictures. Very nice. Also, we shared a really good steak that they cut in strips was very nice. It's like a skirt stick. You can see it in the pictures. It looks very appealing delicious. My concern was the place is empty. But I'm sure at night time it gets pretty packed because this brand of the restaurant is very popular. The only problem that I have is that they add 20% of your bill when they should allow you to give the tip. I actually tipped them more. Also the food was a little slow coming out, but this is something that happens in all restaurants when they're empty the food always takes longer. Other than that. It was good prices are medium to high. There's no way around that. I mean the rules were high, but good quality.

This place should be hopping on a Friday happy hour. Normally, each drink would have cost me $16. Instead, they were $10! The service was very helpful and friendly. Food is pretty good. If you don't like spicy, you could be disappointed. Loved the pork belly Bao buns!

This is a regular lunch spot for me. The staff is always friendly. The place is cute inside. The food is always solid. If you want a deal, come on a Monday or Wednesday where the rolls are discounted for lunch. Trust the staff suggestions. The menu doesn't really give an impression of what it will look or taste like, but everything is good.

Delicious food, fast and friendly service, and the perfect night to enjoy their patio seating! For apps, we loved both the short rib & truffle dumplings as well as the truffle corn with cotija (truffle lover if you can't tell). Both were delish!! I'm not usually a salmon fan, but I highly recommend their crispy salmon roll!!! It's nice and crunchy on the outside then inside it melts in your mouth. The Rockshrimp roll was okay, but not great. They're open until midnight on Fridays so if you need a late night snack, definitely check them out!

Mediocre score for a mediocre experience. My friend and I went for lunch after running a bunch of errands and shopping on a random Saturday. To start, our drinks were hit or miss. I ordered the La Chula. I am a huge fan of mezcal and was excited to taste the chili and citrus with smoke. The mezcal was not very smokey and the watermelon garnish was SOUR! I mean, a wilty piece of soured fruit on the im of my glass. I wish I would have noticed it before I grabbed it and took a bit. I am not sure how the bartender missed and served me a rotting piece of fruit. WOMP WOMP! I didn't bother to say anything since everything took forever to come out. We were literally the only two people at the bar and yet EVERYTHING was super slow. We ordered a pork belly and a shitake bao bun and the lobster donuts. The lobster donut was different. Not good or bad. Just different. While my friend enjoyed her pork belly bao bun, I could not eat my shitake bao bun. It was way too salty that I nearly spit it out. Unfortunately had to send it back and I didn't care to try another. For our entrees, we ordered the hot summer roll and the acebichado roll. Both had unique flavors. Something green like avocado would have been a nice touch to the hot summer roll. Either way, we liked our rolls and I would be open to ordering them again. Ultimately, not the best experience and not the worst. If I am in the error, I may be inclined to try the establishment again but I am not going out of my way.to return.

At first we had to park which was not that hard because the shopping center wasn't so populated today. And then we came in, and since the place was not full we got seated in less than 2 minutes. Our servers name was Anahi and she was great and understood us in every order and explanation. She recommended great dishes/option's, she was super nice and great. She did indeed speak Spanish for the people that do speak Spanish. My favorite dish was the Butter Crab Roll! They made an exception and accommodated my son that was craving a Poke Bowl, and they made it for him which made him very happy! Great place to take your family if they're feeling like eating Latin\Sushi Fusion.

I'd like to update my experience with Pubbelly at Pembroke Pines. Luis, the manager, provided us with an outstanding dining experience. He was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make things right. I was able to enjoy my original order in-house, and everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to Alana, who took care of us--she was professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. This experience truly restored my faith in this location. Highly recommend trying the Butter Krab Roll, Big Eye Tuna Roll, and the Shishito Peppers with pistachio miso! Oh and the Lychee Coco Martini is divine.

Our server Alana was amazing. She was extremely friendly and made great recommendations. The food came out super quick and everything tasted fresh. We sat outside bc the weather was nice and I absolutely loved it just as much as sitting inside the restaurant. Hope we can go back soon and have the same server.

I ordered to go here and waited a very, very long time. It turns out one of the chefs had a car accident earlier that day so there was only one person in the kitchen. They told me this when I was about to leave after finally receiving my order. I wish they would have told me this sooner. I certainly would have been more understanding compared to no one saying anything for nearly 50 minutes. Ok, onto the food. I tried the french miso soup and was not impressed. It had an odd taste to me. There was no real cheese in it. I did love my Philly roll. The salmon was so fresh and the cream cheese was delicious. I also loved my wedge salad with house made ginger dressing. The vegetables were so crisp and fresh. Absolutely delicious. The rockshrimp tempura was good, not great. I wish they would have put on more buffalo sauce. Not bad at all but I don't think I would order it again. I definitely think the sushi is the star of the show here. I will stick with that and the wedge salad next time. I will come back here.

Because the corn dog was so filling, I ended up having to take my main dish home, but it made for the best leftovers! I ordered the chicken katsu, and it was perfectly crispy. The edamame and pineapple in the katsu were a fresh touch that I really loved. Another major standout my friend got was the golden curry pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The balance of the savory curry heat with the sweet bursts of pineapple and plump shrimp was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, we grabbed some of their teas, I had passionfruit and my friend got the ombré passionfruit lemonade, which were refreshing, and the ideal way to round out a massive, flavor-packed meal.

I usually approach fusion restaurants with a healthy amount of skepticism. Too often, they feel…read morelike culinary speed dating, two cuisines forced together in the hope that chemistry magically appears. More often than not, one side dominates, the other disappears, and everybody loses. At Amazonia, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Miami, that fear evaporates somewhere around the first bite. The opening argument came in the form of Gyoza Huancaína, pan-fried dumplings stuffed with lomo saltado and served with a vivid yellow huancaína sauce. It is the kind of dish that sounds gimmicky when described aloud. Then you eat it. The dumplings delivered deep savory notes from the beef, while the creamy sauce added brightness, spice, and richness. It felt less like a fusion experiment and more like a dish that had always existed. Four dumplings arrived on the plate. Four was not enough. My entrée, the Midori Risotto, continued the conversation between Japan and Peru. A strikingly green risotto made with kale and edamame arrived topped with grilled shrimp, microgreens, and dots of black garlic aioli. The rice was cooked properly, retaining a slight bite, while the edamame added texture and sweetness. The shrimp brought balance to the richness, and the black garlic aioli quietly tied everything together. It was a dish that managed to be both comforting and elegant. To drink, I ordered the Nikkei Lemonade, a blend of yuzu, Peruvian ginger, and huacatay. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing, it reset the palate after each bite and served as a reminder that the fusion extends beyond the food. My wife chose the braised short rib, a dish for diners who may not be ready to take the full leap into the restaurant's more adventurous offerings. Braised for 72 hours and served over mashed potatoes, it collapsed under the gentlest pressure from a fork. The beef was intensely flavorful, and the braising liquid was rich enough to make you consider asking for a spoon. Dessert brought one final East-meets-West moment. The Flan Nikkei paired a silky custard with miso caramel, whipped cream, and fresh strawberry. The miso added just enough savory depth to keep the sweetness from becoming predictable. It was a thoughtful ending to a meal built on thoughtful combinations. Amazonia succeeds because it understands something many fusion restaurants do not. Combining cuisines is not about piling flavors on top of one another. It is about finding where they naturally intersect. Here, Japanese precision and Peruvian boldness meet in the middle, and both emerge better for it. Fusion rarely wins me over, but Amazonia makes a compelling case for keeping an open mind.
