This was my second time going to Pubbelly, and I was initially concerned because they ran out of a few (vegetarian) items on the menu. However, our waiter Robert was very helpful in suggesting other items & a roll that could enhanced & be vegetarian friendly. The chef came through and everything was delicious! We ordered the spicy edamame, the Truffle corn (although we ordered it without the truffle as I'm not a fan, and it was yummy!), and the avocado roll was altered with extra veggies in it. Robert took great care of us and to compensate for the several menu items being unavailable, and also bring my friend's birthday, he gave us a dessert on the house! I highly recommend the Miso Bread Pudding - it may sound weird by the description, but it was fantastic! This is my favorite spot of all time. The food and drinks are always consistent and I've been more times than I can count. Their crispy salmon roll is by far my favorite roll i've ever had. Their lychee martinis and espresso martinis are also the best, they use coconut cream for them and it makes it so good!! Celebrated a birthday here and it was made very easy. We were accommodated without an issue and when it came to the checks at the end it was the easiest checkout experience. So I knew they offered quality sushi. Pubbelly is located by The Shops at Pembroke Gardens. Next to Xfinity and Freddo Ice Cream Shop. There's a nice covered patio with outdoor seating at tables and bar area. When you walk inside, it's a total vibe. The decor is modern, clean and super cool. Look up when you walk in and you'll see a beautiful big paper wooden fish that looks basically like a monster size origami fish. It's pretty awesome. There's plenty of seating indoors at tables and booths. There's also a small bar that connects to the outdoor bar with high chair bar seating as well. The best part about Pubbelly are the SPECIAL PROMOS all week long. Happy hour is Mon-Fri @ 4-7 PM. $10 sushi roll Mondays, which just recently changed to $12 sushi roll Mondays and Wednesdays. Still an amazing deal considering these sushi rolls range in pricing from $18-24. Kids eat free with adult purchase on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. SO MANY GOOD DEALS!!! Mediocre score for a mediocre experience. My friend and I went for lunch after running a bunch of errands and shopping on a random Saturday. To start, our drinks were hit or miss. I ordered the La Chula. I am a huge fan of mezcal and was excited to taste the chili and citrus with smoke. The mezcal was not very smokey and the watermelon garnish was SOUR! I mean, a wilty piece of soured fruit on the im of my glass. I wish I would have noticed it before I grabbed it and took a bit. I am not sure how the bartender missed and served me a rotting piece of fruit. WOMP WOMP! I didn't bother to say anything since everything took forever to come out. We were literally the only two people at the bar and yet EVERYTHING was super slow. We ordered a pork belly and a shitake bao bun and the lobster donuts. The lobster donut was different. Not good or bad. Just different. While my friend enjoyed her pork belly bao bun, I could not eat my shitake bao bun. It was way too salty that I nearly spit it out. Unfortunately had to send it back and I didn't care to try another. For our entrees, we ordered the hot summer roll and the acebichado roll. Both had unique flavors. Something green like avocado would have been a nice touch to the hot summer roll. Either way, we liked our rolls and I would be open to ordering them again. Went to the Pembroke Pines location very nice decor. Very nice place. We sat at the bar in the bartender took very good care of us. He was attempted. We started off with two sushi rolls, and two miso soups. The soups are good like a little bit more tofu. Then we had some sushi rolls that were beautiful as you'll see in the pictures. Very nice. Also, we shared a really good steak that they cut in strips was very nice. It's like a skirt stick. You can see it in the pictures. It looks very appealing delicious. My concern was the place is empty. But I'm sure at night time it gets pretty packed because this brand of the restaurant is very popular. The only problem that I have is that they add 20% of your bill when they should allow you to give the tip. I actually tipped them more. Also the food was a little slow coming out, but this is something that happens in all restaurants when they're empty the food always takes longer. Other than that. I ordered to go here and waited a very, very long time. It turns out one of the chefs had a car accident earlier that day so there was only one person in the kitchen. They told me this when I was about to leave after finally receiving my order. I wish they would have told me this sooner. I certainly would have been more understanding compared to no one saying anything for nearly 50 minutes. Ok, onto the food. I tried the french miso soup and was not impressed. It had an odd taste to me. There was no real cheese in it. I did love my Philly roll. The salmon was so fresh and the cream cheese was delicious. I also loved my wedge salad with house made ginger dressing. The vegetables were so crisp and fresh. Absolutely delicious. The rockshrimp tempura was good, not great. I wish they would have put on more buffalo sauce. Not bad at all but I don't think I would order it again. I definitely think the sushi is the star of the show here. This was my first time eating at Pubbelly Sushi. It is in the corner of a shopping center just East of Pembroke Gardens. It is right near Twin Peaks. We ate there and I ordered food to go for the next day. This is what we shared and ate at the restaurant. I ordered the lobster roll. This was ok. It was somewhat awkward to eat because the shell of the tail was on each piece of sushi. This roll did not amaze me and I don't think I would order it again. I did enjoy the big tuna roll. This had a lot of great flavor and was super fresh. I also tried the avocado roll and it was fresh and tasty. I did like the Philly roll with cream cheese and salmon. I was going to order the ceviche with tostones. I saw the people next to me ordered it and this was the tiniest amount of ceviche I have ever seen served at a restaurant. Then, there were like 6 large tostones. Not balanced. Now the star of the show was what I ate the next day. The french onion miso soup. I predicted I would love this and I was right. I came home and had to at least take a taste while it was fresh. This soup is AMAZING! It is one of the best soups I have ever had. And very unique. Who would think to put gruyere cheese in miso soup? Not me. It is excellent and I HIGHLY recommend that if you like miso and french onion soups. Had dinner with my husband at Pubbelly for the first time tonight. I have mixed feelings to be honest. We loved the vibe and the aesthetics. The music was millennial heaven and the murals were beautiful. I ordered the lychee coco martini. It was absolutely delicious. Very dangerous because it's was such a smooth drink so the alcohol sneaks up on you. I will probably dream about that drink. We ordered the tostones con ceviche. It was good but nothing special. We then ordered the crispy salmon roll and the acebichado lobster roll. The salmon roll was ok. The lobster roll said it had lobster and shrimp. It was basically shrimp tempura on the inside and minced lobster with leche de Tigre and onions on top. So the description on the menu was a bit deceiving. The mixture on top had celery which I despise so that kind of ruined it for me. We ordered the mochi ice cream because the ice cream inside is vegan! However, I was very disappointed. First, I hate the taste of matcha, it's literally grass flavored. Then I bit into another flavor and my mouth started to burn. It was chocolate ice cream and the mochi was habanero. A warning would've been nice when we received the dessert. It was such an unpleasant flavor/experience to taste. Overall, we were really only impressed with the martini and the decor. Also, our waiter was very nice and attentive. Other than that, we weren't impressed. Finally made it to this location of the Pubbelly Sushi restaurants! For starters, the space is beautiful and much larger than I imagined from the outside. There is an indoor/outdoor bar which is excellent if you want either a patio feel or if you want to enjoy the indoor vibe. Their music playlist was also very enjoyable with a great mix of genres and songs. The only only reason why I gave this restaurant a four star review out of five is because the service was quite slow. The server and staff were extremely kind but we had to wait a very long time to be seated (even with reservation), to place our order and to receive our food. The food itself was beautifully presented and tasted even better! I ordered a bunch of things just to get a sample of the menu and every single item was tasty. This was a great idea since they're more of a tapas style restaurant. The Short Rib & Truffle Dumplings with corn, parm cheese and truffle oil hit all the right places on your tastebuds! A total must try. The Pork Belly Bao Buns had kimchi, cucumber, onion, sesame and hoisin sauce. This was a bit on the spicy side so take that into consideration if you don't do spicy. The Navarro Salmon was recommended to us and was delicious but it's not something you'd want more than three bites of because it's mainly rice and cheese and that can become a bit overpowering. The Korean Wings were paired with a delicious sauce, the wings were very savory and one of my favorites. To top it all off, we were told they had a special dessert for that night and it was an ice cream dessert served inside of a coconut with bread and sprinkles. Came here for the $14 rolls on a Monday. Turns out they have $14 (all rolls) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at this location. Yes they used to be $12, but inflation is a thing. The yellowtail sushi roll was amazing! I've now been here twice and have also tried the lobster roll, and the two timing tuna roll. Both were delicious. My friend had a raw tuna pizza of sorts that tasted heavenly. We tried the Korean wings and they were spicy but also good. They were on the small side though. Overall the sushi here is amazing and a good size for the rolls. My one complaint is their prices, so I only come when they have the $14 rolls and then I can't complain. First off, it's extremely cold during lunch time, colder than most places. Sever was prompt and I was sat in a semi/booth facing the kitchen. I ordered the skirt steak and the kimchi fried rice. The skirt steak was more well done than well, and one of the dipping sauces was extremely salty. When the Manager happened to deliver my free Tofu hummus, and asked the obligatory question of how I was faring, I explained my experience in that moment. I was impressed by her suggestion to try an alternative steak dish, as the skirt steak was no longer available at that time. The next steak dish was on a stick and 100x better than the initial order. The service was ok however we were not offered eel sauce or anything with our sushi. We did ask but they only brought out one eel sauce . The food was pretty average. We ordered a variety of dishes from the happy hour menu and some rolls. The two timing tuna roll was the only roll that was really good. The rockshrimp tempura roll was ok and no one at our table enjoyed the lobster rolls or the buttered crab roll. The pork buns were good but came out cold. Probably not somewhere I would return to. The food was good, just not what I was looking for. The at being said, I think my favorite dish was the Box Choy. So delicious! I also ordered the Yellowtail roll. It had crab in it, which I am not a fan of, and it didn't list that on the menu. There was a unique flavor I was trying to place. It might have been the Yuzu Truffle. Whatever it was, I really liked. Pubbelly has come to Pembroke Pines! You can find them within Pembroke Gardens right near Twin Peaks. It was such a pleasant surprise to drive by and see this pop up in my side of town. I've visited a few times and usually come for their happy hour, although I always find myself ordering off the happy hour menu. Some favorites are the Sake Aburi (wouldn't recommend if you aren't a truffle fan, the truffle is heavy on this one), the krab roll, and papas bravas, which are all off the HH menu. I feel like I get to try something new every visit here. Although they do have a happy hour, it's not one of my favorite ones since its a bit limited but might be more so worth for drinks. The service is pretty attentive here, always refilling your water when it runs low and checks in to make sure you're good. The interior of this restaurants is clean, pretty bright, and open. Just know that everything we ordered look like it was on a menu photo shoot and tasted as great as it looked. Friends invited us out to Pubbelly and honestly, I'd never heard of it. In my mind, I pictured a BBQ joint; no idea why! I was both surprised and starving when we arrived and well, our server was the jam! Brought a tasty beverage almost instantly - like he read my mind! We ate "family style" so everything we ordered was devoured and shared by the whole table. Before we knew it, our bill had broached what I'd normal spend on a night out eating. Regardless, it was easily a delicious meal and with our friends, it closed out a busy week! Inside is a get loud. The service was really good, and the food came out pretty quickly. There's ample parking, it's located in Pembroke Gardens, but at certain times the lot gets crowded, especially being next to other busy restaurants. The food was very tasty. We got the bao buns and edamame off the happy hour menu. Then we wanted dinner. I do think that their regular food prices are a bit steep, compared to other sushi spots I've been to, definitely a bit more money. It is an eclectic menu, a fusion. I enjoyed my truffle sushi. WOW. This place is phenomenal! Came here with my husband for date night and we were blown away!!! The food and service were exceptional. The restaurant is beautiful and I especially liked the light fixtures. We had four drinks and a bunch of apps including the popcorn shrimp, the octopus, lobster buns, wagyu roll, shrimp ceviche (TOP CHOICE!). I would skip the ribs. For the drinks the coconut and lichi drink were my favorite. The quality of their food does not give the sense that this is a franchise at all. It is very fancy but casual at the same time. The last time we had Pubbelly Sushi was in Aventura five years ago... Now, it's conveniently close! Came here originally for Happy Hour but we ended up ordering from the regular menus too. We did quite some damage, but I've been telling myself: "You didn't pay full price during Happy Hour, so it could have been even more expensive." Okay, good point. We'll go with that, lol. Here's what we ordered: -- HH Salmon Tartare Taquito: delicious BUT very tiny -- HH Pork Belly Bao Bun: HUGE cuts of pork -- Crispy Salmon Roll: good, but wished it was a tad bit crispier -- HH Big Eye Tuna Roll: so amazing! My favorite item now and before; my all time favorite thing we ordered -- HH Nigori Sake: so creamy! -- Yoshitomo Blonde Ale: their main beer is really good -- Forgot the name of their version of Espresso Martini but it was so smooth and strong -- Short Rib Truffle Dumplings: for how much it was, it was okay -- Butter Krab Roll: very chonky! I just wished the butter dip tasted more like butter and not oil -- Miso Chocolate Bread Pudding: the best way to end the meal! i love a decadent dessert that's not too sweet, just right! This location was just two weeks old, so they're working out the kinks (i.e. they only had one beer available for Happy Hour) and while all the food came quick, dessert took way too long to come out. We almost canceled on it! So I'll put back the star in our next visit if all goes smoother. Service was great otherwise. The ambiance resembles all the other locations, like a modern vibe. A great place to have a nice dinner for a birthday or some sort of celebration. I'm just thrilled for another HH spot in Pembroke Gardens! read more

Came here for the first time with family. I love me some sushi so I was really looking forward to try their sushi rolls! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive! My order was Edamame, their Rock Shrimp Tempura Roll and Miso Bread pudding. This is by far the best sushi I've eaten! I can really taste the quality of the fish they've used for my entree. It is not bland whatsoever and the price for it is reasonable! I also love their Miso Bread Pudding! The taste of the ice cream reminded me a bit of Taro. I can't recall what type of ice cream they used for this dessert to be honest. But it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth! Thanks Pubbelly Sushi! I'll be planning on visiting their Aventura Mall location after being informed by my waiter! read more
