Happy hour chicken kara-age and the sushi special A5 Wagyu and salmon
    Mariah M.

Food is always great, the restaurant is clean but service remains hit or miss. They do their best and it shows but sometimes I feel they would be better off with a couple more hands on deck. Regardless great food and good menu with something for everyone. Small groups or large you'll enjoy the experience and effort put into each dish. We have been coming for years and have no reason not to keep coming back.

This is one of my favorite sushi spots! Located in a busy plaza which makes parking not be an issue. Theres plenty of seating inside, very clean and spacious, and nice lighting coming in from the outside Came for lunch with a friend on a Monday and they have a lunch special. Some of the lunch items start at $15. I went with the supreme roll box that came with shrimp tempura roll, California roll, and edamame. The sushi here is always good and fresh and big portions. Our waitress was nice and attentive. She made sure we always had water and our food came out really fast. She also guided me towards the lunch items that would complement my sushi palate and suggestions for me to try. This is a great sushi restaurant and a must try!

This is a really cute spot for sushi if you're in the area. Our server was outstanding and very attentive! I ordered the shrimp shumai, which I unfortunately felt had no flavor. Even the dipping sauce was a tad bland. My rainbow roll, however, was fantastic and had thick pieces of fish. It was very filling and wonderfully prepared. They have an extensive menu with prices that are an average of $18-$25.

I have no bad things to say about Happy Fish. This is my go to area as both food and service never disappoints. I typically dine in but this time I decided to order for delivery as I had some friends over. Happy Fish only uses 3rd party delivery apps, but they were super patient and helpful on the phone while I figured things out through the app. The huge order was at our door in a little over an hour. Thank you Happy Fish!

It's Friday 12/26/25, day after Christmas, place is busy. But our party of 4 was sat immediately. The place is Christmas decor through out. Amazing job. We ordered our drinks. I got Thai tea. The waitress Andrea very friendly gave us suggestions to order. I had as appetizers chicken wings, edamame. I ordered shrimp tempura and it was very good. The rest of my party was also pleased with their food. Definitely returning.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It's reliable and always phenomenal. The service is amazing. Michael always helps us and remembers everything we need. Every single role we have ever tried here is amazing. A big plus is how there is always seasonal dishes and drinks, it's something nice to look forward to. Also, sushi is never served in a boring plate, they always have great presentation whether it's a sushi boat or stairs of sushi. Always look forward to come back and enjoying again!

I had this bookmarked on Yelp for quite a while, and I was very excited to try it. It's located inside of a very large shopping plaza so make sure to look for it. We ordered three different sushi rolls, but the menu has much more than just sushi. They are plenty of options so it can get a bit overwhelming especially if you are hungry and want it all. I must say that the food. The only thing I really didn't like was the calamari appetizer. The service was great. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We did order one of the sushi rolls he recommend.

This place is so great that it has become our sushi spot! The food is always fresh and the service is excellent. Our personal favorites are the spicy tuna crispy rice, eel nigiri and flaming dragon roll. The seasonal surf and turf A5 wagyu roll is AMAZING, with a great contrast of flavors. The Takoyaki balls are good, but the octopus inside was a bit hard. The fried rice was okay, I think the habachi would've been better. The place is small, plays music so there is a moderate ambiance noise, which allows me to take my loud toddler with no problem lol. Highly recommend this place, give it a try next time you crave Asian food as they have a good variety of options.

I've never been for dinner, but I've been for lunch a few times with coworkers. Their lunch menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Every time we go, everyone loves their meals. The service is quick and the presentation is far much more what I would expect for lunch.

All I can say is wow. It has been a while since I had sushi. I m here and then it reminded me of why I enjoy it. The flavours here were poppin! The service was super friendly. I had some offerings from their competitive happy hour menu. I will surely be back when in the area, I suggest you go too.

Such a fun vibe. Large board with happy hour specials next to the bar, sushi bar and table seating available. The server was welcoming, accommodating and nice. The food was delicious! It was served with fun shapes and garnishes! I would definitely be back! I loved the mango duo roll and the salmon crispy rice!

So happy we found this place and got to try it! To begin they are extremely festive. They have Christmas decorations, employees in Christmas pajamas, all entrees come decorated to theme, and they have a special festive food and drink menu. The employees are also very attentive and nice. Then to top it off the food is delicious, great portions, and very affordable prices. We started off with a miso soup each and gyozas. I had the spicy tuna crispy rice and my fiance had the starter boat for 1 which was amazing! Definitely returning to try their other amazing menu items.

He told me my only option at the time of my reservation was to sit outside in the heat and humidity. He was also rude and dismissive. There are better places to go. Additionally based on owner (Daniel) reply: I assure you the words "5-10 minutes" never were spoken by your host. But I appreciate the attempt to make me look unreasonable. The host's implication was there was a wait and he couldn't be sure how long. And his body language was pretty dismissive. Your portrayal is inaccurate. In addition, your reservation system offers no option of indoor vs outdoor seating. 99% of your patrons were eating inside because it was drizzling, hot, and humid. If you had offered outside only at the time I made the reservation I would not have made the reservation. Maybe look into adding that option instead of surprising guests. Folks, try Kaeru Sushi & Grill in West Pines. They are a fantastic sushi spot and always respect reservations.

I usually approach fusion restaurants with a healthy amount of skepticism. Too often, they feel…read morelike culinary speed dating, two cuisines forced together in the hope that chemistry magically appears. More often than not, one side dominates, the other disappears, and everybody loses. At Amazonia, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Miami, that fear evaporates somewhere around the first bite. The opening argument came in the form of Gyoza Huancaína, pan-fried dumplings stuffed with lomo saltado and served with a vivid yellow huancaína sauce. It is the kind of dish that sounds gimmicky when described aloud. Then you eat it. The dumplings delivered deep savory notes from the beef, while the creamy sauce added brightness, spice, and richness. It felt less like a fusion experiment and more like a dish that had always existed. Four dumplings arrived on the plate. Four was not enough. My entrée, the Midori Risotto, continued the conversation between Japan and Peru. A strikingly green risotto made with kale and edamame arrived topped with grilled shrimp, microgreens, and dots of black garlic aioli. The rice was cooked properly, retaining a slight bite, while the edamame added texture and sweetness. The shrimp brought balance to the richness, and the black garlic aioli quietly tied everything together. It was a dish that managed to be both comforting and elegant. To drink, I ordered the Nikkei Lemonade, a blend of yuzu, Peruvian ginger, and huacatay. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing, it reset the palate after each bite and served as a reminder that the fusion extends beyond the food. My wife chose the braised short rib, a dish for diners who may not be ready to take the full leap into the restaurant's more adventurous offerings. Braised for 72 hours and served over mashed potatoes, it collapsed under the gentlest pressure from a fork. The beef was intensely flavorful, and the braising liquid was rich enough to make you consider asking for a spoon. Dessert brought one final East-meets-West moment. The Flan Nikkei paired a silky custard with miso caramel, whipped cream, and fresh strawberry. The miso added just enough savory depth to keep the sweetness from becoming predictable. It was a thoughtful ending to a meal built on thoughtful combinations. Amazonia succeeds because it understands something many fusion restaurants do not. Combining cuisines is not about piling flavors on top of one another. It is about finding where they naturally intersect. Here, Japanese precision and Peruvian boldness meet in the middle, and both emerge better for it. Fusion rarely wins me over, but Amazonia makes a compelling case for keeping an open mind.
