Took home left over wings from eating at PubGrill last night. My boyfriend was eating the wings today and this was in one of the wings. I attempted to resolve with the restaurant instead of leaving a negative review, however the manager said he couldn't help me because he didn't work last night (which is understandable to a degree), and was very condescending and sarcastic in dealing with the issue. Not sure if it was from the food vendor or the kitchen, but the issue is how my complaint was handled when I called the restaurant. I'm a supporter of small local business and I don't expect above and beyond service at a local pub, but to be demeaning and dismissive is unacceptable. I had bookmarked Pubgrill a while back and finally got around to going there. We are so happy this place is close to home. This our new wing place! It's been a long time since I have such amazing and delicious garlic wings. I loved the flavor and the fact that they weren't dripping in sauce because they were perfectly grilled after the sauce. Everything we had was so yummy! My husband had a bowl of chili which disappeared so fast, I want able to taste it. My daughter's French onion soup was truly the tastiest one I have ever had. It was some kind of prime rib smothered with cheese and onions and the amount of meat was greatly lacking and what was there was fatty. A whole lot of bread though. Service was good. Beer was cold. We've been going to Pubgrill for years and it never disappoints. When we decide on eating here, the first thing my husband asks is, "what are the specials?" Not because the regular menu is bad, but because they have some amazing original specials! On the regular menu, the burgers are delicious from the French onion burger to the B. Arnold. They cook them how you like and you could also build your own burger. Even the kids menu isn't brining, sure they have the same old chicken tenders and fries and Mac and cheese, but they also have a kids ribs that my daughter likes and grilled cheese. Their beer selection is also varied. They have the usual suspects, but they also have some craft beers. Every server we have had has been friendly with good customer service. read more

Hands down, this is the best restaurant in Cutler Bay. The food is ALWAYS great, and I love that they feature a rotating group of specials and craft beer. With that being said, the only down-side is that given their limited space, I guess they don't have many cooks. If you go on a busy night (especially Fridays) be ready to purchase appetizers. I've been waiting for this kind of place in Cutler Bay for a long time and PuBGRill did not disappoint. The burger are delicious. I got the BBQ burger and it so cooked perfectly. Very juicy (and I'm not talking greasy) the fries were good. The wings however were outstanding!! I recommend the PuBGRill special and the Special K sauce. We randomly stopped in after a day at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. We were on our way home and needed a small meal. For a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty quiet. Which was great. We showed up after the lunch crowd but before the dinner crowd so that's probably why we were able to be seated right away. Our server was great and very attentive. The vibes were good as well. Different sports playing on the TVs which we appreciated. For food we had the buffalo shrimp, 10 wings (half spicy Q and half Pubgrill sauce), and the truffle fries. Everything was delicious. The wings were great, I ordered them well done bc that's how I like them and they were cooked to perfection. The fries were also amazing. They weren't greasy which was great. I go to the pub grill about once a week with my fiancé and we love it. I definitely judged a book by its cover because I originally didn't want to go into it. The dark windows made it seem like it was closed. Once I went inside, I realized that it must be a pretty popular place, because it is always busy. Most weeknights there is a short wait but it has never been very long. The food is great. It's mostly bar food, wings, burgers, & sandwiches but they also have really good salads. They have a nice selection of craft beers and small selection of wine. This is a cozy spot that is great to hang with family and friends. I definitely recommend this to anyone in the Cutler Bay area because it will become one of your regular spots. Good restaurants are hard to find down here so I'm very happy to have discovered pub grill! read more

I've been coming here for a few years always chasing the burgers on the black board. I've had a few different burgers here and have fallen in love with the pub mac. It's not a bigmac, it's on a different planet. So goood. Today I had the chori brg. Im never let down with this place. The meat was so flavorful and juicy. I'm Cuban and have had my share of chorizo burgers but this one was hands down the best chorizo burger I have had. I told myself that in 2017, I would start working toward putting a dent in my Bookmarked spots. Craving brunch on a Saturday, this past weekend to be exact, brought me to PuBGRill. It's located in Southwest Miami Dade in the what is considered Cutler Bay, more specifically where in the plaza where the Chuck E. Cheese and Publix are. From the outside it sits alongside other businesses but what set it apart from others is that I couldn't see inside as it is tinted. On the inside the place is dimly lit which I love. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed, at least it was on the day that I was there. Everything about the décor, tvs, and ultimate setup scream "pub, bar, sports bar." I also gathered that this place sees its share of locals as a lot of the staff and some of the customers were on a first name basis. My waiter was Joel who was very nice and recommended that I try the Chicken and Waffles after I inquired about the best meal on the brunch menu. He stated that it was one of his favorite if not his favorite. It took about 30 minutes for my food to arrive which was a bit long for me... I was "starving like Marvin!", but that let me know that everything was going to be fresh and made to order. Everything was piping hot, just the way I like it. One the plate was 4 boneless pieces of chicken (thighs), one buttermilk waffle, a piece of orange for garnish, and a side cup of syrup (jalapeno/bacon). The chick was seasoned and fried to perfection! Waffle was soft but crispy around the edges, just like I like, and the jalapeno/bacon syrup wasn't too bad. In fact it would have been amazing without the piece of bacon. Joel was very attentive, walking to the table every once in awhile to check on me. Great service and good food.
