Stopped in for dinner and we sat at the bar. We were greeted without a wait. Had a nice cold drink sitting in front of us within minutes. Had the cooks 3 tacos, with chicken. They were awesome! Rented the Airbnb above thinking that we would have a bar downstairs. Nope! We showed up at 6pm and the bar/restaurant was desolate, no one around and no lights on. I think the best fajitas I've ever had to be honest. The conch chowder was on the pricey side, but very tasty. We are from out of town and were told this is a local spot so we checked it out. We were greeted quickly and kindly. There only appeared to be one guy working the inside and outside (mid afternoon) so we sat at the bar to keep him from running around. The inside decor is fun with nautical murals all over each wall. They had a great looking Irish Special menu but when fresh seafood is all around you go with seafood. My husband got tacos and they were fantastic. Three large ones that he almost couldn't finish with a side of colorful tortilla chips and salsa. I got conch stew that was really tasty with some hot sauce and crackers and a side of conch fritters with a chipotle sauce. The fritters were just ok. They were a bit overcooked but I definitely ate them. I did crack up when I checked out the restroom because it's like stepping into a whole new world. A great local eatery and bar, atmosphere was lively, sat at the bar our bartender was fantastic , very friendly young girl, ordered a Cosmo and it was delicious, the Clams in the butter broth was amazing and a large portion with garlic bread for dunking. Hubby had the Grouper sandwich and gobbled it down so he would not have to offer me a bite, lol, oh I ordered the French onion soup, marvelous, not full of bread but a great onion broth with the right amount of cheese. Three of us went here for lunch today and had excellent meals. We ordered the award winning stout burger that had thick cut bacon and a nice sweet relish to it--absolutely delicious! We also ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich that was also extremely good with lots of steak in it. Our sides were fries (not so good), onion rings (amazing), and mashed potatoes (cold but tasty). The waitress was great at service and told us most of the items here are made from scratch. The prices here are a bit on the high side, being over $14 an entree. I hate leaving bad reviews but this one was pretty lame. First off, let me start by saying we drove down from Fort Lauderdale checked in the hotel and started looking for something to eat at about 9pm. I don't like going to restaurants so late and I can only imagine what the staff thinks when customers show up so late. But, they are supposed to be open until midnight and I picked them because they were open later than most restaurants in marathon. First server we see tells us she's slammed and it's going to be a while. Fortunately there were two and our server is the only reason I'm leaving 2 stars. She was super nice and she tried to make it a pleasant experience. We weren't particularly hungry. We mostly just wanted to wind down from a long drive and get a quick snack before we went back and went to sleep. So I ordered nachos. Thinking I'm in a pub, it's late, I want some thing that's quick and easy for the kitchen and quick and easy for us. Saying that these nachos were gross is probably an understatement. Basically it was a basket of stale tortilla chips that somebody dumped a can of black beans on and then poured on some lukewarm canned cheese on top of it. Maybe one out of 10 on the effort scale. I think there might of been some chopped onions and chopped tomatoes on it, but to say that they were less than a few is probably being generous. We got a side of sour cream that was spoiled and a side of salsa that tasted like it was dumped out of a Tostitos jar. I wasn't gonna send it back at almost 10 o'clock at night. We struggle through it and made the best of it. After the waitress asked if we wanted dessert. we were in the keys, let's have a Keylime pie. It came out with a pleasant looking presentation. Cris cross lines of a strawberry purée and topped off with a dollop of whipped cream. I think the strawberry purée and the whip cream were the highlight of the desert. My wife had commented that the Keylime pie looked like some thing from Publix. We only wish it had tasted like Publix. This might be one of the few times that we actually didn't finish our dessert. Way too sweet way too tart way too weird of a consistency on the gram cracker crust. At least I think it was a gram cracker crust. It was a little bit hard to tell. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. But the waitress should've said dude don't get the nachos they're not good here. read more

What a great place! I am beyond impressed. We searched awhile on Yelp and we found this hidden gem. I loved everything we ate. We were traveling with 3 adults and 3 kids we started with cocktails. I had the jalapeño margarita. It was okay. But let me tell you about the food. We ordered three appetizers (calamari, fish dip, and a pound of shrimp). Everything was delicious and exactly as expected. Our entrees were bang bang tacos, seared tuna tacos, and blackened mahi mahi with sweet potato tater tots. Let me rave about the size of our meals. Portions are hearty and sooooo tasty. Bang bang shrimp tacos are full of flavor. It's a must!!! If you are in the marathon area you should try this casual place. Definitely NOT fine dining. I always come here when I'm in town. Good food and it's awesome to watch games at. They welcome all team sports fans, so you can cheer your team on no matter who you're rooting for! The service is great and everyone seems friendly. The noise level was average and you were able to hear your conversation over the music. There is a full kitchen available if you need a bite to eat. The prices were reasonable and the portions were enough for two. We didn't order food, however watching the food delivered to the different tables piqued my curiosity. Good food and good service. They have an small arcade and claw machines. Our party and and a few other patrons were sinking money trying to win. Almost finished with our meal when someone (maybe cook or owner or just a worker) comes in with his kid, opens up the claw machine that all of us have been playing and let's the kid take 2 bags full of prizes out. We went for the first time during a busy weekend (Memorial Day) plus it was Game 7 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Still, they were able to accommodate us, a group of 10, without hesitation. Great menu selection, both for food and drinks. Our server Debbie was excellent, running all around almost by herself. Overall a great experience. The kitchen closes at 10pm, but the bar stays open until later. If you're with kids, keep in mind that the please is kid friendly, but only only until 10pm, not because an ambiance chance, but literally because they will not allow kids inside after 10pm. We had to close our tab and go outside to finish the fourth quarter of the game, while the kids waited in the cars (parked next to us) ‍ So keep in mind if traveling with kids. Andy was the bartender and he has to be the best at his craft. Had to be over 25 people and he was on top of it all. I had the fish and chips and they were out of sight.
