I am still waiting on a call. The other unit I had at the Extra Space a block away had an employee by the name of Carla that was stealing. And, she claimed to be a praise dancer at her church! Don't use this place! The two women that run this place should have their license revoked for bad…read morebusiness practices. My brother had items stored at this pace for several years and occasionally be late on payments but would always make good as soon as he had the money available. He lives out of town and since I still live in the area I was taking his payments in for him. According to receipt I was given by the lady in the office there was an $18 credit on his acct. Well, about a month later he receives a notice that he NOW OWES ALMOST $600 IN LATE FEES!!!!!!!!!! Letter stated they would sell the items in storage to cover the fees. I went in to talk with them and it was explained to me that there was a "bookkeeping error" and they found these "late fees" from approx. 6 mos prior. It didn't matter that a had receipt that showed he had a credit on his account, they wanted their money!!!!! My brother didn't fight it, paid the money and pulled all of his stuff from this scam of a storage facility. He found a place close to where he lives now that is twice the space for HALF what he was paying this place.
