The service from Russell is amazing... but the facilities are garbage, the lighting is extremely horrible and the rent keeps going up every couple of months... I have been in better and have decided to remov my items and go else where ... where it is much cheaper and modern update.. check out Self storage, prices are better and Bluetooth access and better lighting especially being indoors. read more

1 only by force. I received the worst customer service that I've experienced in this city. The "property manager" with the green ombré hair(Ms. Bank for the purpose of this review) needed to go to the bank during my time spent here. Just my luck right? WRONG. Because of this bad experience I canceled my reservation and found a better location right around the corner for less money. So fasten your seatbelts while I write this review. I reserved this unit online. A young lady called to confirm, discussed entry to the storage facility and asked what time I would be coming in and mentioned that she wanted to make sure she was in the office in case I needed anything. 2 hours later I arrived....LET'S GO! The words excuse me had to be repeated and practically yelled because Ms. Bank was in a bad mood and did not want to deal. ID/DL was held in the office in order to use the carts to transport belongings to your unit(bummer). I went and placed my items in the unit. I returned the cart and went to retrieve the ID and Ms. Bank was nowhere to be found. She was at the bank! Several other customers were waiting. One guy left & said he would get his license later. When she returned she still had an attitude and when I asked her a question she became extremely rude. It was at that moment I knew that I would need to cancel or end up living in a tiny storage unit . The admin fee is non refundable so choose wisely. The business is a little outdated. Garage door to the unit was a little raggedy. Lighting malfunctions and you may have to store your items in the extreme darkness like I did(or provide your own flashlight). read more

Awful self storage experience. The facility is in complete disarray. Storage units are "secured" with chicken wire over the top. Half the lights in the facility do not work. The cart, when available, requires ear protection to ensure the 45271dB it outputs do not cause your ear drums to rupture. The staff, although kind, is completely incapable of assisting with anything more than accepting your credit card or apologizing for their rundown operation. Most can be contributed to lack of funding or management. Overall, a terrible experience. There is so little value for the cost. Seriously, there are, minimum 250 units in this building, average price is probably $45 per month, I can't assume cost exceed $10k/monthly, reinvest in your business. If you're a fan of horror films you will love this place. Do NOT waste your money or sanity, spend a bit more and use the storage units one mile North. read more

christina at the brookpark office was very nice and helpful but corporate is very rude they raise your rent constantly and the last time was a 78.00 a month increase for nothing!!!!we moved right down the street for cheaper and bigger unit! the corporate office dont care about your business and explain the readon for all the rate increases! read more

I have been here for a year and I have no complaints. The facilities are clean and appear secure. Access is secure but easy. Customer service is always excellent. We needed a space to store things for an elderly relative who moved to assisted living. Since I hadn't ever used a storage space before, I picked on near my relative's house. This was the closest and turned out really well. Getting the unit online was easy and saved a trip to the location. I needed to buy boxes ahead of time and Russ Cooper, the manager, helped me choose what would work best without trying to sell me the more expensive set. When we returned on the actual day of moving, he was efficient with the paperwork, took the time to explain everything and showed me the storage locker to be sure it was the right size before having me sign the papers.. This store lost its security gate over the summer and informed no one. The gate remained missing until November. When asked if there was increased security measures in place, they stated that my contract provides no expectation of security. I moved my stuff out ASAP. The location is seedy and the facility is dirty. I had to change units once because the first one was broken into. They offered no assistance or even a dolly to help with the move. I'm writing a new review of this facility on West 117th. I had a really, really bad experience with this facility ever since I first started renting space with them in March of this year. The manager is not a nice person, however, once I was concluding my business with them, my experience was much better. Russ is extremely polite and helpful. He walked me through the final steps of what I needed to do to empty my locker and stop accruing fees. Then once the locker was empty, I got a call from someone named Kim. She was very courteous and wanted to make sure my account was up to date so I didn't end up paying any more fees. They were both very professional and I want to thank them for their help. read more

They were not there on a sunday morning and we had to drag all items from our storage far away from entrance. Amanda is nice, Russ gives good advice and fixed my key. Large garage entrance door was damaged for a long time leaving facility open. Prob. an insurance issue. Would rent from them again, they are secure which is what you want. read more
