HORRIBLE facility and total ripoff, every few months the rates go up and these are units that get broken into, and do not even have temperature control. If you have been a customer for years, it doesn't matter because they will raise your fees and throw on a useless unnecessary rent tax of over $36. Almost $500 for a simple storage garage; I could rent an apartment better than this. The amount was increased by $66 per month. Being out of town, it is not simple to move out. I'd look somewhere else. the price has tripled in just a few years. Rates increase regularly. What started as $105 including taxes and fees is now $331. If you consult their website the rate is $174. That's considerably different than the $331 they are debiting from my account at the beginning of every month. Their belief is that once you move in it will not be likely that you would move out. At these rates it will be cheaper to throw out the stored furniture and buy replacements when the furniture is needed. They don't mind killing the goose that layed the golden egg. read more

COMPLETE RIPOFF!! They will increase your rent to whatever amount they want, whenever they want!! I was notified that my Public Storage unit rental space will increase from $118.25 to $165.55 next month (May 2023). When I questioned this 40% increase in rent with Keith at Public Storage, I was told: "Every tenant renting with Public Storage is subject to periodic rate increases. For more information on increases, you can always refer to your rental agreement." When I asked if a 40% increase in one month is normal, Keith said "There is no specific amount listed in the rental agreement that it can or cannot go up by." Am I the only one that thinks this is an extremely shady business practice? I'm definitely moving out before the increase, but it feels like this is predatory behavior on people who don't have the option to vacate their belongings. A random 40% increase in one month?? That's absurd!! Good luck with this business model, Public Storage! PS For those who want to move out to a better storage company, here here are the steps to vacate (that Keith sent me): * Give a 24-48 hour advance notice (verbally or written). * Remove all the items from the unit. Make sure it's empty and clean. * Remove the lock and keep it. * Go to the office and get a vacate receipt (if possible). I tried to cancel the insurance three times I went to the office with nobody on site. I called no answer but called while I was at work. I called back after work no answer. The support number told me I can't cancel through the app, I just did. I paid my whole bill on August 30 and on September 4 after closing hours I got hit with a bill for 3 dollars and change. I don't have time to play games, please.fix you billing and insurance issues. read more

I wouldn't recommend this location at all there is never anyone on site they went up on prices almost a hundred dollars the fees taxes and insurance is outrageous im paying 370 a month for a small unit over a hundred dollars more than when I first initially got the unit you can't call and pay over the phone or else they charge you 20 dollars the customer service is terrible I lost my keys ok not theor fault but I couldn't get anyone to cut my lock off and they only do it at certain times on certain days but if you don't pay someone there's to cut your lock off immediately and let's not talk about how many times a day everyday they call you about your bill worse experience I've ever had wit a storage place will never patronize this company again read more

I've used these guys several times when I have short term overflows of space with my business. The place is really great, has after hour access, staff is cool, and it's secure. I only graded it down because they say the first month is free, but they do tack on a admin fee or something. It's not much. I think around $25. I'm sure all the storage places that offer this deal do the same thing. They do sell additional insurance if you need it, and boxes, tape, locks, etc for your convenience read more

Clean, easy to find property, but their gates concern me. There is NO manual override. If the gate malfunctions due to cold weather, you will wait hours until a repair crew shows. If you are inside your unit unloading your belongings and there is a power outage in the neighborhood, you are stuck inside, behind the gate. Caged like an animal. I cannot believe there is no manual override in place. I wrote to Public Storage twice about my concerns. Both letters were ignored. read more

Maria is great! I had just driven from NY to get storage. While she was helping me, everyone seemed to come thru the door at the same time to pay their bill or ask long dumb questions... I wasn't in a hurry so I waited patiently. She was by herself but handled everything and everyone with skill. The only problem is with the parking. It can be a serious issue if more than 5 cars try to park. Maria gets the 5 stars. Parking gets 3 or less read more

Staff was very courteous, but the add-on costs after you come in to sign up are vexing. Plus, the ten foot space is really 9' . Don't try to fool me, I do carpentry and can spot the difference straight off! All this I could live with, but within days of signing on, they cut the access hours to 9-6 only. Since I specifically rented space here so I could drop things off after hours on my way home from work, they have effectively negated any value in choosing this location. I now have to drive out of my way or take time off of work to get here. No reduction in rent costs went along with the reduction in service hours either. read more

I rented a storage unit here for two months while I waited for my new place to be ready. When I went to pick up belongings we found roaches running in and out of the gaps between the storage unit. We had to run to Lowes down the street and buy bombs and spray. Then we had to go through and search and shake everything out . OMG. IT WAS HORRIBLE. It took everything in me not to just leave everything behind. It was after hours so we couldn't even go to the office and tell anyone. I will never every use this place again. EVER. read more

***BEWARE*** If I could give Public Storage zero stars, then I would. I moved out of my apartment & I was in need of a storage unit. I saw an add for Public Storage, that promised "first month free". I didn't get my first month for free after all the hidden fees but I didn't really care about that. Over the months, I would occasionally go there to check on my unit. Everything seemed okay until I was ready to move my belongings out. I hadn't checked on my storage unit in the last 2-3 months due to the severe weather. I called Andy around the 1st of February to see if I had a specific timeframe to notify her of my intent to move., She said no & and as long as I gave them a few days before hand, I would be alright. So it's 2/7/14 & Andy wasn't in the office. I wanted to pay my last bill. The man charged me $130+ for February. I was charged a $30 late fee that was added to my acct. on 2/6/14 & they didn't even prorate the last month. No one, not even "nice, sweet Andy" advised me that I only had the first few days of the month in order to qualify for a prorated amount.....WHATEVER! Lesson learned,. I could deal with that. I didn't like it, but I could deal with it. What I can't deal with is what came next: It's 2/8/14 & I'm at the storage facility with my Uhaul truck. I open my storage & proceed to gather my belongings out when I spotted what appeared to be little black dots all over my things. I pulled a storage bin out of the unit & my brother told me it was mice poop. I pulled another one out & it was even more. Mice had come into my unit & pooped & urinated all over my couch, my loveseat, my mattress & box springs, my tables, my clothes, my family pictures & irreplaceable memorabilia. Everything I valued. I had to spend hours sifting thru everything before I could even put it on the truck. I had to throw away so many items that I cared about. Items that I valued so much that I paid a damn storage fee every month for. I was distraught. So not only did I have to get rid of my valuables, I also have the added expense of paying for a new mattress & paying for someone to come & steam clean my couches. (New couches that I was still paying for while in storage) Not to mention, I am hoping & praying that the mice from the storage unit didn't hid in my furniture. I do not want to bring them into my new home....yuck! The whole time I was out there on Sat., I never saw anyone in the office. I cleared my unit out & my brother found a dead mouse in the corner of the unit. I called the office on Monday to make them aware of what happened & I didn't get "nice, sweet, "I want your business" Andy"....I got cold-hearted bitch Andy. She advised me that it was out of their hands since I already moved my stuff out. She was defensive & lacked empathy. She just kept saying "its out of our hands now". I couldn't believe it. Not a "sorry", a "damn" or anything! These people are dirty & they don't care about you or your precious items. DO NOT RENT UNITS HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH MICE IN YOUR UNIT & STAFF THAT DOESN'T CARE!!! read more

I bought furniture for my whole 5600 Sqf home from this store. The selection of styles at this is endless. I have never met better customer service at retail store. They also offer custom design which is unheard of from other furniture stores. It might take sometime to receive your order but this is due to the lead times of the manufacturers this guys work with.
