Dont rent here. My unit flooded here due to a leaky roof( look at past reviews and notice flooding has happened to units here before). luckily I had insurance, but still had to deal with the problems of it all. The staff was nice here, but after everything there was 0 apology for lack of maintenance. What they did do though was raise my rent prices after the flood and never offered anytype of goodwill. Also, good luck driving in here with the snow as that never seems to be plowed. read more

The worst storage unit we have ever used. You can never get a hold of anyone in the office and once they call you an hour and a half before they close and you try and call back they never answer. When we started renting, we were paying $168 four months later we are paying $270. Definitely not worth that. Any questions we ever asked the answer was unfortunately there's nothing we can do. read more

When trying to close out my mother's acct, I was stood up by the office manager. Then, upon calling the number on the door, which was customer service, I was never treated so rudely and condescendingly. When I heard back from the office manager, I was so shaken up from the phone conversation, but she was very polite. This is a difficult company to deal with overall- bait and switch with the rents, unable to directly contact someone at the Geneva location during business hours. If I need storage in the future, I will not use this company. read more

I am writing this after my move in day. The office person seemed very knowledgeable and answered my questions. I had no problems getting into my unit, and the size was exactly as advertised. I am hoping that my monthly rate stays reasonable. So far, so good. read more

Storage units are kept in good condition for the most part. However, the office manager is never around apparently. Paying the bills is also a large task as no one is in the office most of the time. If you try to call the place you won't reach anyone except bots. Don't know if the lady whos in the office currently is the manager but she will stand you up at the worst of times. literally, trying to pay my bill in cash because for some reason my card did not work. Had to grab cash and told her i would be back shortly because my bank was just up the street and she either took a break or just left. Great storage units, terrible staff. will be closing my account here. read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY!! I emptied all of my stuff out of my unit on the 30th of the month, but since the office was closed when I finished, I went back the next day to close my account. They told me that I owe the entire rental fee for the next month because it was already the 1st of the month!! They don't care that they were closed the day before, and they only state that "It's in the contract." Then they threatened me with a collection service if I didn't pay for the entire next month, even when I'm not renting the unit! Also, they plow snow up against your door, the orange paint peels off the overhead doors and ends up on everything in your unit. The brand new indoor climate controlled Metro Storage a mile away is much better and friendlier. This place is a total rip-off. Stay clear! read more

Firstly, the staff at this location was great. Always helpful and courteous. But. customers be prepared that after one (1) year of storage, the rate will increase substantially for a 10' x 20' unit. The rate started at $1 for the first month, 2nd-month an average of $180, (I had three units), over $200 after 6 months, and continues to go up until one year. Then, my rate went from $262 a month to $356, a 30% increase in one month. If I moved to another unit on the same property the rate would be $218. There is no long-term rate structure. I called customer service several times, but they never called me back; I had to initiate the calls. I finally got the rate decreased to $262 for 3 months and after a lot of calls got it extended for 2 more months. The customer service people have been courteous to speak with but their hands are tied by the corporate rate structure. It has been a nightmare dealing with the rate structure of Public Storage. I have been a long-time customer of Public Storage...love their phone app and website, and as I have said before, the staff at the storage locations are very good, but no one can seem to explain to me why Public Storage corporate tries their best to get rid of long time customers after a year with their rate structure. The space is nice, however the office manager can be difficult to deal with. Make sure you make your payments on time or you are locked out of the gate without a call telling you so. I also was informed when renting this space that we could receive deliveries to our storage unit during office hours and the clerk would accept our deliveries. This isn't the case either. And do not show up five minutes ahead of their start time at 930 am because they are not nice to you for having them start early. In short, great space --office not so great. read more

Chelsea and Anne were very helpful and very professional. They both made you feel they were happy to have your business. I am very satisfied with the outdoor space for my trailer. I would only recommend that the website include a statement that the title/registration will be needed when storing a vehicle. I had made an "on-line" appointment to bring the vehicle on Sunday morning. The website emphasized that all I needed was: 1) a government-issued ID card, and: 2) the email confirmation notice. I could have easily brought the title/registration on the first visit but instead, I was not permitted to leave the trailer within the gate and return at a later time with the title. I had to return home to get them and drive back again with trailer in tow. Otherwise a very good experience. I certainly would recommend this facility to others. read more

I felt that my items were safe here and I like the on site staff. The problem is the massive exorbitant bait and switch that they do on the rate. They bring you in at a reasonable rate and then literally every three months jacket up about 40%. There was also constant water in my unit that the management said they were not responsible for somehow. read more

As far as the facility itself goes, this place is fine, no complaints. My issue is with their management structure. The people inside the office are not affiliated with the parent billing agent. So if you have issues with their billing, you must go to the parent organization to get this issue resolved. They, unfortunately, revert you back to the on-site personnel who, in turn, claim ignorance and try to push you back to billing. In my case, I ended up being billed twice for two different units and, although I had vacated both, was still being billed for one of those units twice. This required a lengthy process of being escalated to the local District management and finally having to involve my bank to reverse the charges. The parent company, being an extremely consumer-hate oriented group, threatens you with collections agencies when you try to exercise your own financial rights of charge disputes or threatens to lock you out of your belongings...which, ironically, wouldn't have mattered in my case since I had checked out of the facility months prior. Do not do business with this establishment unless you pay in cash...its a nightmare to get THEIR billing issues resolved otherwise. read more

Easy online registering. Amber called to verify the reservation within a day. Facility is clean and efficient. Conveniently located right off of Randall. You have easy drive up access to your unit daily, and they have an easy to navigate website where you can pay your bill and check your balance. Their prices are comparable to other storage places, and when i rented they had a special of first month for a $1. read more

Good storage facility and very clean and secure. However, the management leaves something to be desired.. I have been renting from them for almost a decade and they still see the need to call me on the 2nd of the month to tell me my rent is due (rent is due on the 1st of each month). They have gone as far as to call my wife at her place of business and scare her with a message that there is an emergency with our unit. In reality the rent is due.. If you go past 7 days they either cut your lock off and put their own on or they will put their lock on in addition to yours and usually when you notice and need to access the unit, the office is closed.. I use this location because of the location to my home and it is convenient. The only other thing is that they raise the rent just about every 6 months. I cant recommend this location to anyone except if you are storing a vehicle.. read more

Do not rent here! Our unit flooded with rain this summer. Our entire house was stored here in between moves, and everything was damaged. When we went to get the manager, Barbara, she said "contact your insurance, that is why you have it." They did not resolve the issues we addressed with gutters/downspouts, etc. Look at the slope and creek running behind the property. Do yourself a favor and find another place to rent! read more
