    Sheets, bedding and stuffed animals were urinated and defecated on as well as nested in.

    This facility had a Rat infestation at some point in the past few years due to food in a tenants unit. Multiple tenants have complained about rat urine and feces being all over their items and even submitted insurance claims. Only to find out the insurance only covers $250 for rodent infestations. This means no matter the cost of the items in your unit the insurance only covers $250. So if you have anything at this location I would recommend any other company other than this one. They will drop your payment down $48 which doesn't help either. I personally had to get rid of over $1,000 worth of house hold goods that had been soaked and stained with rat urine. I swept up a literal mound of rat feces and can probably do that again. Yes, I had to clean the unit myself and was unable to recover those items. The inconvenience alone was terrible but the loss of my goods is personal. Shame on this company and their insurance providers for allowing people to lose what they are supposed to protect.

    Clean facility and helpful staff. Josh got me squared away in a unit even though it was almost closing time on a Sunday. Would recommend!

    Main issues: 1. pricing lies (a bait&switch style of pricing). 2. Automatic "insurance" that covers…read morevery little. 3. Their online account access. 1. Ignore promotional pricing - once it's over they happily increase monthly rent by 70% of the normal rate. READ: PRICE WILL INCREASE ON THE 4th MONTH. This is consistent and likely an established business practice. Case 1: promo pricing was 50% off first two months. Large (intentionally nonspecific) unit- $136 "normally" with $68 as rate for promo pricing. Rented in June. Then, rate jumped by $88 to $224/month. Given notice in last week of September (25th) for November new rate start. After raising a stink they dropped it by $22. That's still $66 over what I budgeted. Case 2: Had to get a 2nd unit last day of move and didn't have time to go to a different place (believe me, I would have). A smaller unit at $42/months as "standard rate" (October '25). Promo discount of 50% for first 2 months. Notice received in December (26th) that rate will increase to $75 starting February. Again, over 70% increase in cost. And $33 above budgeted. Like clockwork. They claim: [*Warning - eye roll following reading their statement may cause pain*] "We understand that any change in pricing is significant, and we want to assure you that this decision was made after careful consideration. Our team is dedicated to providing you with the best possible storage experience, including ongoing maintenance and upgrades to our facilities." I watched this building get built. It's new. Upgrades..? No. Maintenance, okay but what kind of incompetence didn't plan for that in initial pricing? It's not incompetence. It's shady and unethical. Cowards. What does $100 get you every month? 2. They make you pay upfront for insurance at $12/mo that covers up to $2k. I suggest not storing items at $200 a month if it's all worth less than that. I gave my documents quickly. I was still charged (for first unit) and had to ask them to refund me since I was charged again. I got a second unit as noted - under the same account, passcode, email etc. They still preemptively charged that insurance despite my private policy being on file already. Needs more refunds again. Very dumb. 3. They have an online account (kinda) but it's limited in function to strictly facilitating them getting your money. You cannot see itemized statements. You cannot submit or view documents. You can update your basic info and payment info and see payment history (only total they took from your account so nothing useful). You must request actual itemized statements EVERY MONTH if you want to see what that extra fee is for. Only positives are the doors work and it's relatively clean. But it's new...we'll see how far their maintenance goes. Go elsewhere.

U-Haul as a company gets 1…read more Mike and Marcus did good work, especially considering U-Haul's lack of decent online account integration with their in-store systems. When I spoke with them about some troubles I'd had that were weather-related, they were very understanding and did what they could to accommodate me. They worked with U-Haul's sluggish and redundant systems to get our info squared away - we were dropping off a truck and tow dolly as well as reserving a storage space. It took some time but they made sure everything was correct and that we were correctly reimbursed for our first month of storage as well as our extra boxes. Walked away very happy with this location, but disappointed in U-Haul's overall treatment of customers. It did take some time to get everything taken care of, but I feel that was more on U-Haul's end than this location. Owner Bill was on-location and doing his best to help other customers too, I noticed. Seemed like a good crew all around. As a company, however, I can't recommend U-Haul. Our problems with them first began with their system of "reservations" - what a joke! U-Haul apparently doesn't consider our month-prior online reservation actually reserved until they call the *day before we pick up the truck*. In our case, that meant we got lucky and the truck WAS available, but 45 minutes away. We had to rearrange OUR schedule to accommodate U-Haul's LACK of scheduling. You don't call something a reservation without actually making sure it's reserved, U-Haul. Oh, and the $50 "guarantee"? That doesn't apply to your original online "reservation". It applies to the day-before-you-need-the-truck reservation when the U-Haul rep (very possibly in another town) calls you. This is why you had that class-action lawsuit that you settled, U-Haul! Make sure you keep all your paperwork - original contract, any receipts you get from U-Haul, everything - it will make it much easier for the good people in-store to help you.

Sure their website made everything look brand new and secure but would they prove it? They sure did. I made a reservation online, which is different than renting, and within the hour Kurt called me to see if I had any questions. I set up a tour for a few days later and that was that. When I toured the facility I was very surprised and pretty impressed. The front units are privately owned and the rental units are back a bit further. They are only a couple years old and are in very good condition. They have good security cameras and a gate that actually looks like it will keep people out. The inside units are a bit cheaper than the outside ones and are climate controlled and all units use Bluetooth to get in. No more losing keys! Kurt made the rental process super fast and easy. He was really thorough with the contract and was just all around a nice guy. I can tell that I'll have have a good rental experience just by the way they treated me before I even gave them any money.
