RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!!! This is the absolute WORST place to…read morestore your precious items. Last year 2024, I already had items at the facility (iStorage Bayport) which I pay over $350 per month. When I entered to get something out last summer, I realized the air conditioning unit was NOT WORKING, which they advertise and I'm paying for "Climate Controlled Units". The management claimed that the unit recently broke (2 Weeks at that point) and they were waiting on parts. Judging by the smell of the place and the moisture on the floor, I could tell it was longer. I put a complaint in to the corporate office, that my items were smelling like mildew and I was told to contact the insurance company, even though it was due to their negligence and faulty equipment. I didn't follow up because once you put a claim in, the insurance goes up (we all know how that works) Plus at that point the Summer was ending and I was hoping for the best. Fast forward one year later, Summer 2025... I just went to my unit and once again the AC in non operational!!! and has been out for several weeks. The inside of the building STINKS OF MOLD!!!!!!!! THERE IS MOISTURE SPOTS ALL OVER THE FLOOR!!!. ITS A COMPLETES BREEDING GROUND FOR BLACK MOLD. ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO SPEND TONS ON MONEY TO KEEP THEIR ITEMS SAFELY STORED ARE BEING LIED TO! THIS COMPANY COULD GIVE A CRAP LESS ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS!!!! I just called to complain yet again and demand a total refund. I was told to call the insurance company, they don't compensate clients. I was also tipped off by the management of the building, that they never fully fixed the unit last year and this is why they now in the same situation. DO NOT RENT SPACE FROM THIS CRAPPY COMPANY!!! THEY ARE NOT CHEAPER THAN OTHER STORAGE UNITS, THEY ACTUALLY COST MORE AND NOW EVERYTHING I HAD IN THERE I HAVE TO THROW AWAY. THEY ARE SCAMMING EVERYONE THAT RENTS IN THAT PLACE AND I ONLY HOPE EVERYONE FILLS OUT A COMPLAINT OR CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. YOUR ITEMS WILL BE TOXIC TO TAKE BACK IN YOUR HOMES.

I don't find the business to be reputable and I would not recommend this business to people I've used them before. I'm very surprised at Charlie that he refuses to do anything. I have $2200 damage on my furniture. They handled my furniture terribly. I had a the furniture guy come in. It was all brand new furniture and he looked at my furniture and he said the furniture was handled terribly by movers so if you have new furniture to move, recommend you find someone else. Do not use Mr. D's. They're not reliable and they're not reputable. They don't make good for their damage that they do and the men don't care what they do with your furniture. I had Charlie come here and look at the furniture and showed him the damage that the men did on delivery. He said he would take care of it and here it is October 1 and he still has done nothing to do to make good for the damage of of what of what his men did I am handicapped unfortunately and there's not much I can do. I can't get out to go to court, but if I have to, I'm going to hire an attorney to take care of this because that's not right you don't do this to somebody. You don't damage their furniture and leave it in this condition and refuse to do anything, especially when it's brand new furniture. I also intend to report this to the Better Business Bureau and I will follow up with any other organization that I to get results from this incident. This is not very June. I give Mr. moving in storage business half a star ratilng they did not even move half of my furniture. They left a lot of boxes behind because they said the truck wasn't big enough to hold all the dose yet I paid for this so my son had to move it took him to move what they left behind and I had a refrigerator and a grill and I had included that in the moving, but they said I didn't and they charged me an extra hundred dollars to move that the men were treated very well. I gave them lunch plus they a nice lump sum tip for the moving and it took them all day to move a small apartment from from one block to another block. It was obvious the men did not want to be bothered with this move. You could see it. Their attitude was very bad.

I brushed it off didn't respond no DSS doesn't pay for my new apartment buddy. Well I am still on crutches signed off didn't have much energy to check but then I realized SO MUCH WAS STOLEN! MY IRREPLACEABLE PUCTURES OF MY FATHER WHO PASSED LAST YEAR. All of my son's clothing size 5-6T ALL Of my jeans about 18 pairs. My clothes where picked through heavily about 3 giant zip sealed bags opened deflated. My son's PS4 gone. ALL of my kitchen appliances GONE. When I called back they just kept saying impossible they wouldn't check the footage. They got me good I'm in the middle of needing heart issues and doctor appointments and raising my son as a good mother and they took advantage of my kindness and disabilities. I will never forget this. They are lucky I let it go and didn't call the police. If you are unlucky enough to use this service DOCUMENT list and take pictures of everything do not let them drop off and leave. They will take you for anything. The forces on the other side will see what you guys have done you may not be punished in this life time but you will in the next. Guaranteed.
