Brilliant for corporate profits--not so brilliant for the people paying the bill. A lot of people who need storage are already downsizing, selling their homes, or struggling financially because of today's economy. So naturally, the solution is to keep increasing their storage costs. Because why not squeeze a little more out of people who are already struggling? READ THE FINE PRINT. Then read it again. That attractive introductory price is apparently just the honeymoon period. The facility is clean, but that's about where the compliments end. I left a message at the Whitman location and waited two or three days for a response. Apparently, customer service is stored somewhere off-site too. Public Storage: customers are people, not walking ATMs. Maybe try remembering that. Shame on you. Do better. And to anyone considering renting: BEWARE. Ask questions, watch those rate increases, and don't assume that the price you're promised today is the price you'll be paying tomorrow.

I unexpectedly needed a few additional items boxed on moving day, and they handled everything without hesitation. Every item was packed and transported with great care. Nothing was broken, damaged, or missing. The move into my new space was just as smooth as the move out of my old one. They carefully followed all of the building's rules for elevator use, placed furniture exactly where I requested, and neatly stacked boxes in the appropriate rooms. What impressed me most was their professionalism and attention to detail. They communicated clearly throughout the process, regularly checked to make sure I didn't have any questions, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right. Before leaving, they removed all of the packing materials they had used and left both my old and new homes clean and tidy. The entire move stayed on schedule and was remarkably efficient. I honestly could not have been happier with how smoothly everything went. The two movers assigned to my move were truly exceptional--kind, courteous, hardworking, and diligent professionals who clearly take great pride in their work.
