Dark area won't turn on where my locker is???
    Debra N.

I got there at 8:10 am and facility opens at 8:00 am. But once I got onto 5th floor, some area lights will turn on, my roll won't, and manager gone until 9:30 am. No one available for problem with lights. I couldn't see into my locker if I didn't have my cell phone. Ummm, there's usually one person on site all the time. Also, I wanted to purchase small boxes...what an inconvenience? Even if you have to do banking, it doesn't take that long to deposit. What's up guys?! They do practice social distancing and wearing masks. There's not much I can say about the staff? They're missing in action. Ciao everyone!

I GOT RECEIPTS!!! Monthly fee receipt $177

Public Storage allows homeless to camp in their parking lot. Watch your stuff especially if moving from a pickup truck.

I forget the movers names but they were both prompt, handled my items delicately with care, didn't take their sweet time they worked very very hard, disassembled and reassembled a near 50 year old antique silik hutch that I have inherited , they moved everything exactly where it needed to be in my new place, were very polite and respectful and did not damage anything or steal at all. I've dealt with another moving company in the past where I suspected some jewelry went missing. They are the quickest at responses, very reasonable pricing, flexible with their schedules, all in all I am very satisfied and have asked them to move another thing for me as well. 10/10 recommend. Ps. Big thank you to Anna for coordinating everything !!! She is excellent as well

They took a two hour lunch (that I paid for) from 12 till 2. They didn't finish until 10PM and that was only because my wife and I ended up packing 30 percent of the house ourselves. They didn't bring enough packing materials and I had to go to Home Depot and spend a hundred dollars to buy more material. They did an awful job of packing such that almost every box was crushed when we received it. They ruined a $5,000 rug and you can hear broken glass in countless boxes. Lastly, there was no accounting on delivery. A guy with a beat up trailer just showed up and unloaded as quickly as possible. We asked him for some accounting and all he said was "this is all I got." We suspect we are missing a substantial amount of our shipment. A word to the wise... use a different company.

This review is all about COOKIE!…read more She has been so wonderful to us and is the ONLY reason we didn't leave StorQuest when they pulled their typical start you off low and raise your rates fast! Cookie is friendly, considerate, and consistent. She's true to her word and she's gone above and beyond for us. As an example when we finally bought a house and moved our stuff recently out she actually helped me clean up, fold up boxes, and throw rubbish out. I tried to say no but she said she enjoyed helping. I hope StorQuest knows what a valuable person they have there and they better appreciate her! Again she's the only thing that kept us there for a whole extra year. We would've gladly moved our stuff to a different place when they jacked the prices up, but she made it worth it.

Need extra space in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii?…read more My cousin currently lives in Bali, Indonesia. He graduated from Lincoln Intermediate, Roosevelt High School, and the University of Hawaii, then moved away because he received a Fulbright Scholarship. He wasn't able to take all of his treasures with him, so he found StorQuest Self-Storage for about $58 a month. He was really happy with it because it was air-conditioned, clean, and in a relatively safe neighborhood. The best part was the convenient method of payment - it gets deducted from his bank account automatically! To enter the building, the customer must know the access code for the building and have the key for the particular unit! There's free parking, too! Note: The building across the street doesn't have air-conditioning, but it's the same price.

My Storquest experience has been with two locations (Kakaako and Kalihi sites) Hours Both of which vary according to the type of storage and access hours are store hours, open 7 days at Kalihi and 6 days at Kakaako being half day Saturday. Locks -- Kalihi site requires you to purchase their unique storage locks which cannot be used at other sites -- Kakaaka site has storage units with rings you can provide your own affordable locks and any lock that can fit their rings large or small . Units -- Kalihi offers AC or non-AC units but elevator was out of service at the time so difficulty to have an upstairs unit . It makes a difference if you have a bottom or top unit even at first floor since top units have only a cage wire covering whatever floats in the air can accumulate onto your items. While bottom units are subject to whatever the above storage unit may have leaking or spilling into the bottom unit such as cat food that spilled through corners into bottom unit. -- Kakaako only offers non-AC units and has working elevator. ** I prefer Kakaako because I live nearby and I found an awesome sale for $36/mo 2x8 door standard and 8 ft long at ground level. Because it was previously two units that had become one, access was a front and back door (double door) I found really useful. Communication with staff -- It varies. -- Kalihi staff has always reached out to me, left me messages when packages arrive. -- Kakaako is not the same, when packages arrive I had to reach out and inquire , not knowing when it would arrive calling every day sometimes waiting on the line to find out nothing arrived yet. It would be nice if they could let me know when they receive a package so i dont have to call every day. Accomodation Both sites accomodate with plenty of ladders and carts. More so than other storage companies. Transferring between units within one site for changing sizes is with ease too. Starting or Closing account -- Offers renter insurance or provide your own and they refund their charge if you have your own. -- First come first serve and can reserve if you happen to find a good find. -- No refunds Unlike other storage companies, they do not refund any credit left on account when closing out so plan accordingly.

Today, I went to my storage unit, and a person was actually living in the one in front of mine. I got so scared! Music was blaring and the man was passed out. I called a worker and they stayed with me while I emptied my unit. The man woke up and left. This was the second time in 2 months that I have seen people living in those storage units. This is NOT A SAFE PLACE! Later as I was leaving, I saw that same man dumpster diving next door, and then crouching in the corner. I have cancelled my unit. Do not rent from them, they let homeless people live there.
