Worst experience ever. I bought a storage here from an auction and they never gave me an access code, I always had to wait for someone else to either leave or go inside. I tried calling multiple times and finally got connected, I spent 50 minutes on call for nothing, atlas they finally told me the manager would come in 10-15 minutes and he never showed up. Also the employees/manager actually leave 30-10 minutes before they actually close. read more

The customer service is okay, but the facility is run down. I booked online for a 5x5x unit and when I went in it was a complete disaster. I would be begging to have roaches and rats in my things if I went with this unit. There is literally mold on the door. No thank you. Then when I called customer service they kept my 24.00 for an "admin fee" when I fucking booked online. Ridiculous as hell. read more

I wish I could give this property, 2305 S. Dairy Ashford, ZERO stars. I had a unit at Public Storage since April of 2018. There were times when due to health and financial issues, I was unable to pay on my exact due dates. There were times when Public Storage even scheduled my unit for auction. However, by the grace of God, I was always able to pay in time to avoid such. That is, until about a week or so ago. I was unable to come up with enough funds to avoid auction. Months ago, when in a similar situation, I asked if at the worst case scenario, I could have a friend or family member bid, and I was told that I could. So, I had my niece to make a bid. She agreed. The starting bid was $10. No one bid before her or after her. In fact, to my knowledge, no one has ever bid on my unit in all these years. The items in it were of value only to me apparently. My niece won the auction, of course. Per the terms, we had 48 hours to clear the unit. However, we'd had death in the family and the funeral was that weekend so we'd called repeatedly to the property and the district manager for an extension with no response. I even called corporate and the representatives that I spoke with said they would email the property manager and the district manager. Finally, the property manager, Johna Mayes, called my phone for my niece. I said, "I'm her aunt. Could I take a message?" She said, "No, that's okay. We'll just call the other number we have on file," and abruptly hung up. Immediately, she called my niece and told her that we had until Monday of this past week at 6 p.m., per the district manager. Johna told my niece they were open until 9 p.m. We know we could not make it on Monday, due to her having work and myself having treatments, so we went Sunday evening. When we arrived at 5:50 p.m. there was no one there to let us in and the door was locked. My niece called customer service and was informed that the office had closed at 5 p.m. The representative supposedly made a note and said that we should be okay to come on Tuesday because it was not our fault the we were misinformed. The next day, Dora, from the property called me a couple of times, but I missed her and returned her call and conferenced in my niece. Dora was very kind and said that we could come the next day (on Tuesday) before they closed at 6 and that she would leave a note to that effect.However, the next morning, Tuesday, the excuse for a property manager, Johna, telephoned me being rude, belligerent, and throwing her weight around. She called herself trying to light into me that we had until 6 o'clock yesterday to have cleared the unit and that we now had until 1 o'clock to come clear the unit or it's going to the next bidder because they supposedly needed to rent the space. Mind you, once again, there was no next bidder! I tried explaining to her that we had been there Sunday and no one was there to let us in and that it had not been communicated that office closed at 5 on Sunday. She cut me off and sharply said, "It was. I left it on your niece's voicemail." I told her that it was not and she kept going back and forth with me that it was then said she wasn't gonna go back and forth with me and we were gonna have to agree to disagree. I said no I'm not agreeing because that was not accurate and was trying to tell her that my niece didn't get off work until 5 and that I had treatments, but she kept talking over me. At one point, I even had to tell her "Johna, I'm still talking." Then, Ms. Thing told me, "It's Shawn." For years, she's been calling herself Johna but now all of a sudden she has a different name? I found out later that she lied about her name being Shawn, of course. At any rate, she continued being ugly, not listening to reason and being an all-around "female dog." I told her, "Johna, I have been dealing with this from you for years. It's been years with you and this attitude-" Ms. Thing popped off, "No, it hasn't." However, like I previously stated, I've had the unit since 2018. I'm not sure how long exactly she has been there but she has been there for some years. I said to her, "Yes, it has been years. You are never helpful-" Then, Johna popped off "I'm always helpful!" and hung up the phone.I called her back and she of course did not answer so I left a message letting her know that I did not appreciate her calling my niece a liar and hanging up in my face while I was still talking. The problem with her claim that she left my niece a voicemail was that my niece answered the phone and spoke directly to her. I was right there! So the cow WAS lying! I also let her know once again that my niece would be there before closing but not by 1 o'clock, that I would be reporting her to corporate and that I didn't appreciate this type of treatment as a customer for so many years especially at such a low point-being ill and with my family in bereavement. She of course did not return my call. Nor did she allow my niece into the unit. read more

I been using Public Storage for years. never had a problem with nobody until I rented the one on Dairy Ashford. The lady there yep I guess manger on November 1, 2023 I called and called no answer. She finally call back with an attitude with me. Then my daughter went to the storage caught attitude with her. First of all I went up there too see what was the problem she caught a messed up attitud. I told her you need to fix yourself because if you don't want your Job let somebody else have it. Please don't rent here! The property manager ( I believe her name is Ivy )committed fraud on my account. She applied someone else's drivers license to my account which allowed a complete stranger access to my private belongs all just so she could get extra money for a sale. When she did this she changed my rate from $56 a month to $89. I tried for 2 months to get in touch with the district manager Brandon with no luck. This public storage is poorly managed and is not held to the corporate standard. read more

Everybody knows moving can be a stressful time. You have all these things to set in place and get done in a timely manner. Well my son and I were greeted by Ivy as soon as we walked through the door. She made our experience so easy and effortless. She understood our needs and delivered. She was very informative about their service and products. The customer service there is fantastic! I came in to pay my grand daughter's bill and they made it fast and easy. They actually speak to their customers and had me laughing. Amazing customer service!! After having a difficult, if not halted, move these ladies help me out tremendously considering it was the last minute. Chelsea and Bri who both work at different locations worked with each other over the phone to help me out. They made sure I got what I needed and also if it fit my budget. It was absolutely amazing the amount of customer service they gave considering the idiots I had to deal with at the apartments. I not only commend them but I recommend them. Hours make it almost impossible to even get into your storage. Im not sure how anyone can move in before it locks the gate.

Too many break ins. Long term renter here. Our unit, along with 60 plus others in the same building, have been broken into TWICE in a two to three year period. We will be moving out now. The people are nice, but given the price and risk, I wouldn't rent here unless you like to gamble. read more

So, I just called because the girl had us waiting outside for 30 minutes before she resurfaced with her boyfriend--While I was waiting, I called the 1-800 number to see if they could call because that was ridiculous. Anyway, some ghetto fabulous woman gets on the phone and asks me to verify all this information when all I wanted was to have a phone call made to their store to see what the hell was going on. This woman was like "yeah, but you need to give me what I asked for first" I told her that all I wanted was a phone call made, and she was so incredibly rude! I asked for a supervisor and she REFUSED to give me one saying she "wasn't gonna do that over a phone number." I told her that her customer service sucked and THAT'S why I wanted a supervisor, and she laughed, told me to hold on, and then released the call. I'm having my mother take all of her things out of BOTH her storage units here because if you have people hangin out in the back of the storage units (we saw the car she got out of sitting back there the ENTIRE TIME we waited, and then she was bold enough to drive up in it and exit the car with the guy... Really???!!), having customers wait for them, and hanging up on them then you definitely don't need my business at all.
